My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

Anastasia guided the clients towards the meeting room and informed Jess before entering the room.

"Please come this way. Mr. President is waiting for you in the meeting room." She bowed her head and opened the door to the meeting room.

Jess had already informed John about their arrival and now stood in front to welcome them.

The door opened and Neil entered the room with his team following behind him.

"Welcome to the World..." Jess could not speak any further as her mouth formed an O.

Neil smiled, "Hello miss. Nice to meet you again."

Jess finally came back to her senses. She smiled a little nervously.

"Nice to meet you." She turned and saw that John had one of his eyebrows raised as if asking her what is going on. She blinked her eyes to assure him that it was nothing.

"We are here regarding the contract." Neil's secretary spoke from behind.

"Please take a seat." Jess took the file and passed it to John. After discussing and negotiating a few terms, they came to a consensus.

Neil and John stood up and shook hands.

"Happy cooperation to us then."

"Yes. I will ask my secretary to send the revised contract as soon as possible to your office." Neil's secretary nodded her head in approval and said the date for signing the revised doc.u.ments a few days later.

"Yes, this day is fine for us. Let us sign the doc.u.ments on this day then." Jess marked the date in the schedule.

Neil: "If you don't mind me asking, did they mistreat you again?"

Jess was caught off guard with the sudden question.

"Oh that... Nope. They were very polite next time."

"It is good then. I will take my leave then."

John saw their exchange but smiled and waited patiently for them to leave. Jess turned to face him.

"Ahh... Finally, they are gone. The proposal was good. What do you think about it?"

"It was good" John started walking ahead towards his room. Jess started following him, ready to note down any instructions he would give.

As soon as they entered his room, he sat down in his chair and Jess was facing him.

"Anything which I should note down, Sir?"

"Anything which you would like to share, dear?"

Jess looked into his eyes and saw that he was looking fixedly at her. Under such an intense gaze, she could no longer meet his eyes and looked to the left.

"Oh. It is nothing important. Do you still wanna hear it?"

John stood up and pulled her towards the sofa. They sat beside each other.

"I would like to know even the smallest thing about you."

"..."

She looked up and started, "It is about a few weeks back. I was shopping with Rose and you know I encountered some difficulties and he helped me out. This is it."

John didn't say anything but looking at his eyes, Jess thought that it could make a hole if he continued to look at her in such a way.

"Okay okay... There is more..."
