My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

Jess blinked her eyes and didn't reply to her,

Rose: "The day when that psycho attacked us..."

Jess: "That guy? What are you talking about? Jack sent me home that day. Didn't you call him to send us back home?"

Rose looked at Jess as if she had gone crazy.

Rose: "You... What are YOU talking about? Yes, I called Jack, but he didn't send us home that day"

After taking a deep breath she continued. "Oh, Jess. Don't you remember anything from that day?"

Jess shook her head in denial. "When I woke up that day, I saw Jack was sleeping on the chair in my room. I thought he brought me home... Wait, wait. I remember I found a jacket at my place. It doesn't belong to Jack because he doesn't wear that style. I was gonna ask you how I got back home, but I could not call you..."

Jess started mumbling and talking to herself. Rose could not believe it. Jess doesn't remember her savior. Jess suddenly looked at her and held her hands as if she was her only support. She was trembling slightly.

"Rose... thinking about that night brings back horrible memories... I don't want to even think about it. You said that it was not Jack who sent me home, Who was he? I have a jacket... I remember that he was very gentle towards me... Do you know what happened right after?"

A tear escaped her eyes.

Rose wiped it away. "Jess... I don't know to say this. That night after I returned from getting a cab, I saw 'that guy' dragging you away. I rushed and stopped him, but he pushed me and I was severely hurt. Then..." She didn't know how to continue to tell her.

"Just finish it off... I remember that he wanted to bring me somewhere, but after that what happened I don't remember anything."

"Yeah, so a person came to the rescue. He called you by your name, helped me up and taught 'that guy' a good lesson. I thought he was someone whom you know so I let him send you home. You never called me after that day so this thing slipped off my mind as well."

"Rose! Who was he?"

Jess was already at her limit.

"That day... that day John saved us. He came in between and punished that guy6 and sent us home safely."

Jess stood rooted to the spot. She could not believe what she was hearing.

'He helped her that night, the jacket belongs to him.'

She could not imagine what would happen if he didn't help them that night.

'Why didn't he say me anything the next day?'

Raya and James ended up singing a duet. Liam and John were talking about work for a while. He noticed that Jess and Rose had not yet returned. He excused himself and went around to look for them.

He saw that Rose was going towards the living area but she was alone.

"Hey, you are alone here. Where is Jessica?" he asked her.

"She is on the balcony. You should... maybe look for her."

John detected the sad undertone of her words. 'Is she in trouble?'

He thanked her and quickly went to look for Jess. He was hoping for nothing to go wrong now.

The balcony faced the south side of the Villa and a private pool. The moonlit sky looked beautiful.

On reaching the place, he saw that Jess had her back facing him and was looking at the moon and the stars. He slowly reached towards her. He felt that something was not right about her. As soon as he reached beside her, he heard her speak very softly.

"Why you never told me about that night?"
