My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

Soon it was the weekend. Jess had never been to John's place before, so she was feeling happy and nervous. She went to his place earlier than the planned time. She wanted to help his out with the work/ preparations. He readily agreed to her proposal and gave her his address.

Everyone was supposed to reach the place by seven in the evening, so Jess went to his place three hours before the said time.

Jess reached the Green Valley Area.

"He said villa number 7, where is it?" Jessica drove and was looking for his villa.

"Ah! There it is. Villa number 7." She went into the parking and parked her car.

She loved the scenery around his villa. The garden had various flowering bushes and fruit plants. She walked towards and the main door and pressed the doorbell.

'Ding - Dong'

After a few minutes, John opened the door. He was wearing an apron over his shorts and a t-shirt. He had a spatula in his hand. He seemed to cook something.

John smiled when he saw that Jessica had arrived and welcomed her.

"Hey come in. I hope you didn't have much trouble finding the place."

"No troubles at all. Looks like you're making something."

He leads her towards the living area and she keeps her bag on the sofa.

Jess: "I brought some crackers and ch.i.p.s. Where should I keep it?"

John: "Oh! Good. I forgot about it. I am making some potato wedges, onion rings, and crispy chicken wings. You can keep those in the kitchen."

Jess: "Ohkay then. I will help you."

Once inside the kitchen, John gets into his 'Chef-mode'. Jess could not help but admire his skills at cooking.

'Gosh! He even knows how to cook'

Jess helped him prep the basic ingredients.

John suddenly took a piece of a cooked potato wedge and brought it near her mouth.

John: "Jess say aah..."

Subconsciously, Jess opened her mouth while coating the onion with the batter. John fed her and asked, "How is it? Good or bad?"

"Hmm... It is very delicious. I liked it."

After saying so, Jess finally realized what had happened.

He. Fed. Her.

'Oh my God.'

She stopped working and looked towards him. He worked as if nothing out of the usual had taken place.

'Am I thinking too much?' She could not help but think about how comfortable she started feeling around him.

"Jess... Back to earth Jess"

Jess snapped back from her thoughts when she heard John calling her name.

"Y-yes."

"Jess are you okay? What were you thinking that kept you staring into the cabinets for more than five minutes?"

"Nothing." She quickly replied and resumed her work.

"Oh, why were you calling me?"

John: "Just like this"

After saying this, he smirked and started moving towards her.

Jess was nervous and took a step back.

'Why is he approaching towards me suddenly?'

She took another step back but could not as there was a counter behind her.

'Is he going to kiss me?' She closed her eyes and her heart was beating at a faster rate.😣

John moved forward, leaned towards her and took the bottle of oil from behind her.

He saw her expression and could not help but laugh. He looked at her cute little face. John knew what exactly she was thinking about seeing her eyes tightly shut and her lips slightly apart as if inviting him. It took him all his self-control to not kiss her hard then and there.

'I can't ruin anything right now, she is not clear about her feelings about me.'

"Jess... what happened? I just wanted the bottle of oil behind you. Why did you shut your eyes?"

He moved backward and poured the oil in the fryer.

Jess opened her eyes to see that he was laughing and her cheeks burned red in embarrassment.

'Dirty mind Jess... You got such a dirty mind. Why did you think that he was going to kiss you?'🤦

Maybe she really wanted him to kiss her then. ❤️❤️
