My Hero Academia- Thunderstorm

The last few days passed by in a flash and the day of the festival has arrived.

Denki's Dad: Remember to do your best. I'll be watching you, so show me how much stronger you've gotten.

Denki: Don't worry dad. By the end of this festival, you'll see me in a completely new light.

Denki's Dad: Remember to get the number one spot or your grounded.

Denki: Bye.

[Cut to the front of U.A]

There are many events going on at the festival. Food stalls, games, and shops were set up all over the campus for people to participate in. Unlike in the original story, the USJ incident didn't occur so there wasn't a looming threat of attack on the students and faculty. That said it doesn't mean there isn't security because a bunch of pro heroes was still asked to guard the grounds to make sure nothing serious occurs. If Denki was looking through the huge crowd, then he would be able to see some familiar faces. Turns out some of the members of the Backstreet Boys are here to have some fun at the festival.

Mini: Are you going to eat everything you see? You've already eaten strawberry cupcakes, hot dogs, chocolate covered macaroni, and the special deluxe mystery fish.

Popstar: Why not? I can pay for everything myself.

Mini: You're going to get sick. I'm surprised that you've haven't thrown up already.

Freezer: Just stop. No matter what you say he won't stop. I know I'm not paying for this waste of money.

Popstar: Care to put your money where your mouth is, Freezer.

Freezer: What do you have in mind?

Popstar: We both pick someone we believe will get the furthest in the festival. Whoever goes the farthest out of our picks is the winner.

Freezer: I bet on Todoroki. He's so strong and has endless potential.

Popstar: All he has is potential. That's why I'm betting on Denki.

Mini: Let get in on this.

Freezer: Oh no you don't.

Mini: Come on sister, I won't cheat with my quirk this time.

Freezer: No means no.

Popstar: If I win, then you have to pay me for all my snacks plus a favor from you in the future.

Freezer: If I win, then not only do you have to pay me for the costs for all your snacks plus you have to ditch your arrangement attitude for an entire month.

Popstar: Deal.

[Cut to the inside of U.A. with all of class 1-A]

Ida: The first round is about to start everyone.

Todoroki confronts Midoriya about winning in the festival. He goes on to say that he will win regardless of having All Might in his corner. Midoriya responds to his declaration of war by saying that even though Todoroki has amazing potential and outclasses almost everyone in the hero course he will fight him because he wants to be number one at the sports festival. Todoroki doesn't respond to his provocation and leaves.

[Cut to the Arena]

Present Mic: Hey! Make some noise and get those camera's ready for the fight of the year! Are you ready for a testament of courage and strength to take place before your very eyes! Come on out U.A. Class 1-A!

Present Mic announced all the different classes one by one until everyone was out on the field. Midnight is still the referee in the exam and she calls me up as U.A. representative. I guess because I was number one in the entrance exam I was chosen to speak. I didn't really give much thought into this speech since I was busy training, so I'm winging it. I walk up on stage and look at everyone in all the different courses. I take a deep breath and speak.

Denki: I know I can't speak for everyone, but everyone here is truly special. Working hard to fight and overcome the demons in society and in your hearts. Your strong and these ranking only reflect a portion of your strength. The most important attribute to being a hero or being successful isn't just pure strength. I know there's a lot of powerful adversaries in each course not just in the hero course. Not for the strength of your fist, but the strength of your heart. I challenge all of you to not hold anything back because I sure won't.

Cheers erupted from the audience as I walked off the stage.

Ida: A great motivational speech.

Midoriya: It's something that I agree with wholeheartedly.

Bakugo: I'm not going to lose.

Mirai: This will be very interesting indeed.
