My Hero Academia- Thunderstorm

Its been a few days since that day, but my body seemed to have returned to normal at the very least. My quirk activates like usual with myself being able to control everything but the black lightning. I wonder if I'll ever be able to control it. I walk up to my classmates as their discussing an interesting topic about how their quirks could be improved upon. Basically, everyone was brainstorming different ways their quirks could be useful in different scenarios depending on the situation. There were many innovative and dumb ideas passed around in the discussion. One suggestion passed on to me was if I could control my electricity to knock someone out without hurting them. This got me thinking since I could control my blue lightning I could knock them out but also control their body as well. As this crash course of ideas was happening I decided to speed up Midoriya's skill level by giving some of the same advice that Grand Torino gave him about him thinking of his quirk as too much of a special ability and that it should be used all at once. Midoriya pondered the suggestion while I looked at my other classmates having fun. I looked toward Mirai Otokonoko who wasn't in the original story. He wasn't participating in the discussion and was standing off to the side. I don't know much about him other than the fact that he has insane reflexes and strong physical skills. I never really talked to him that much so I thought learning more about him would be nice. I walk over to him to talk and he looks up at me.

Mirai: Well. Well. If it isn't the legendary warrior himself.

Denki: Me. A legendary warrior? I don't think so.

Mirai: It was just a joke. For now at least and who knows what the future may bring.

Denki: The future seems like a scary place sometimes.

Mirai: I know but it can also be beautiful as well.

Denki: So Mirai, why aren't you participating in the discussion?

Mirai: I just don't want to right now.

Denki: You don't seem the type that likes to expressive yourself that much but you don't seem like the shy type either.

Mirai: Maybe. Maybe not. Then again do you want me to give you advice on your quirk.

Denki: Sure hit me.

Mirai: Well make sure you have complete control over it.

Denki: I got that covered already.

Mirai: Do you? Well then I have nothing more to say.

Mirai leaves the room and leaves me wondering what he meant about that statement. Did he mean my black lightning? No, that can't be it. No one aside from me knows it exists. Maybe he was referring to my yellow electricity. I can't control it as well as I can my blue lightning but I have no way of knowing how to improve that. At any case its time for more training as next month the

U.A Sports festival begins and I have to be prepared to come out on top as #1.

(At a deserted beach a few days later)

Midoriya: All Might!

All Might: Young Midoriya. Why have you called me out here?

Midoriya: Well All Might its just that a few days ago one of my classmates gave me really good advice about my quirk.

All Might: Well isn't that supposed to be a good thing? School is a place to learn and a new perspective could help inspire new ideas.

Midoriya: It was like that but it felt that he was more telling me what I could do instead of giving his own idea on it. It was almost like he knew what One for All was and how to use it.

All Might: You didn't tell anyone about it did you.

Midoriya: No. Only Kaachan would have an idea about how I got my power but not this person. I was wondering if maybe you knew someone who could pass that information along.

All Might: No one I know would divulge that secret.

Midoriya: Maybe I'm thinking too hard about it but it seemed suspicious so I wanted you to know.

All Might: So who is the person that you suspect knows the truth about One for All.

Midoriya: It's my classmate Denki Kaminari.

(Denki's home)

I researched and experimented the different ways I could apply my quirk. It seems that I could slip my electricity into their bodies and slow down their movements by messing with their nerves. The electrical signals that they use to move and perform actions can essentially be blocked with enough electricity. I could also choose to stimulate or block certain parts of the brain to induce different feelings or control their actions. The Ventrolateral Preoptic nucleus is one area of the brain that is particularly involved in the switch between wakefulness and sleep. By manipulating the neurons, I can promote sleep by inhibiting activity in brain that help you stay awake. Though all this is just speculation so I'll need a willing subject to let me perform my experiments on. I grin evilly and shout.

Denki: Oh Dad! I need your help with something.

Denki's Dad: What's up?

Denki: I just need help with a little experiment.

Denki's Dad: What are you trying to do?

Denki: I'm trying to get stronger for the festival and with the help of my classmates I figured out a new way to get stronger.

After explaining my idea, my dad thinks its an interesting idea but that I should experiment with animal brains and dead people's brains first because one mistake could do serious damage to someone. Whether it was on purpose or not doesn't matter. I take this to heart and try to find someplace where I can practice this idea. With enough practice I should be able to use it at the festival.
