All the lower floor had an intense pressure about it. Then the Jaguar King broke out in a cold sweat.

They had been locked in battle since arriving, using their energies to test one another a sort of special hello, each different floor boss all had variations of this ability it was also how she been gauging her power level in comparison when she started, she could not even detect the energy let alone guard against it.

It was an Eagle Warrior on the mountainous region of the palace, he is fierce beyond belief at the time he had been attacking her even thou she had blocked all his physical attacks she would always take damage, it was when she realised his attacks had a much wider range than his sword.

It was the energy produced by nanites cores usually used to transform cells that to make them able to produce mana. Which is different from mana, she came to realization action because the reason she could not detect them is because they don't use mana which is a naturally produce energy of the body. The servants of Xipe-Totec are able to manifest it and, by fighting them she had also been gaining insight into how use the energy from the nanites.

The Palace had always been and still is continuously testing those that would enter it was the final gift of Xipe-Totec. He had built this place using his own skin, he sowed each floor together all that grew here is him or was him, is of him at very least from Shining stone made from his teeth, to the jade in the grass.

The Jaguar King smiled as his sword crumbled into a wooden hilt craved into feathers the blade which previously appeared to be iron became obsidion. His skin flayed itself contorting into a mask that forms on the top of his head. The Jaguar King lowers the mask over half his face, jaguar skin covers his whole body completing his transformation.

Rain braces herself from experience she knew the creatures in the palace become devastatingly powerful after their skin is flayed. A white cord grew out of the Jaguar King, linking to the Obsidian sword. Rain let's put a sharp high pitch yell, she is psyching herself up for the fight. The small exchange just now was won because she had taken advantage of the fact that she knew he would be here and gathered as much energy before hand as she could. She tuned it her energy into a rail gun.

The Eagle warrior had given her a new tool, the core energy is a tool that bends to her will completely. She has a highly attuned and brilliant mind, it took maybe a day after finding out about the energy to figure out she could mold into anything she pleased and about a week for to remember he science lesson it took her about four months after that to complete the rail gun the many moving parts caused her a great deal of mental energy to control.

The first time she used her railgun form it had destroyed an entire floor, even thou the palaces' damage fixed itself in less than a second she spent about two weeks picking up cores from that one attack. However today she had launched a similar attack only stronger, it only broke his barrier.

The Jaguar King smiled it had been a long while since he a true challenger. Rain moved towards the Jaguar King sword raised above her shoulder. She launched three attacks which were all stopped by the Jaguar King, his demeanor as he relaxed a little bit. He swung his sword aiming at her gut she also managed to block his attack, her body caved in she managed to use her other hand to prevent sword from cutting into as the force of his blow flung her a good hundred meters away.

Rain stood up quickly she had never been hit so hard before, she leapt forward similar to last time only these three sword strike were aimed at three lethal places. The neck of Jaguar King, then his liver followed through to his heart.

The amount of strength she used is exactly the same as before the different movements and her accelerated speed was meant to throw off the Jaguar kings judgement.

His movements matched hers strike for strike then he followed it up with a huge punch, his body moved in unison. Short sharp accurate his punch delivered with deadly intent.

Rain heard the punch before she saw it, the sound resembled a "Boom Worm" attack as she called them. These worms are from one of the higher floors where she ran from the monsters there, they are all powerful in a specialised way meaning that If she could figure out its weakness she could kill those monsters but if she didn't well she had become quite the runner.

The Boom Worm is a fairly large worm standing as tall as a pony. Its special attack is being able to shoot out an arm at sonic speed. Rain had spent months training against them, it was the perfect training monster because it was extremely slow so she could always run away if things got hectic for her.

Hearing his fist, she pushed her sword down making it slide his to interrupt the path his fist. By doing so she had managed to cut his hand clean in half.

The Jaguar King smiled at his broken hand "At last," he roars the force is not deadly but manages to push her back, right while she trying to get his footing. His whole body launches into the air and, like a great avalanche descends upon her. With a mountain of heavy blows each catching her sword she to his matched the Jaguar King special attack twelve mountains strike!

Rain then started to interchange sword hands, she punched him as a feint grabbing her sword and she let it go twisting her body catching her sword mid twist causing her attack to direction to another region.

The energy of the core was also in play ever so subtle like. Even to Rain, she had yet to realize the innate ability of core energy. Her speed accelerates as she kicks at his head while her body is and her sword aiming at his knee.

Her three strikes are all coming at once, every couple of seconds, she launched a new series of attacks all aimed at vital points. The Jaguar King was finally feeling the pressure with only being able to block ninety percent of her attacks however each of blows hit hard and always at his strengths, unlike other people she does not follow wounds or weak she attacks your strength.

The Jaguar King is slowly becoming more agitated this feeling of being pressured from all sides, unable to fight properly. The King hit out at her with every thing he's got, his large frame flowed forward dealing out as much damage as she did. They fought exchanging blows until the he dropped to knees exhausted.

She had crippled him by destroying his strengths, his fists, then his sword arms, his muscles and as he thought finally his tendons.

Rain still swung her sword for a few seconds she had been fighting for her life the entire time she is wrapped in the terror of the blows she had been receiving for the past two minutes. Her will to live had been pushed to the next level. Her skills had been continuously used the reason she attack in threes is the method she had in her here she would at time unleash three swords strikes, which in turn from the opposite direction her core energy would replicate her sword attacks and finally punching where any cuts land to trigger her drain ability.

These three attacks is her trump card no one has survived more than three blows from her when she goes "over omega", even coupled with the healing effect of her drain she had suffered a lot of damage and had entered her survival mode.

Looking at her target she swings her sword into his shoulder her energy hits him close to the river, she grabs at his mask pulling it off his body killing him dead on the spot his body whethers into the ether instantly.

Rain collapses onto the field battle victorious, her tears flowing out of her she is overcome with joy, fear, pain, hurt, happiness, sorrow, euphoria, and pride. She was processing them all at once, this fight had been a longtime coming. To taste victory after so many trials and tribulations, she still felt weak her power had yet to fully m.a.t.u.r.e into something she could use in any situation...
