Mmorpg: Unity

Chapter 2 - Journey to the south

Shaka put away the magic scroll dusted himself off, and carefully walked through the meter high grass. He heard all manner of creatures. Still a bit nervous he slowed again readied himself as jumped out of grass...he only been walk for a few minutes when... Huff!!! He had startled a herd Boadeer. These creatures were between level 2-5 rank 9 due to the mutation caused Boabab tree to them which allowed their horns to grow wild and embue them with earth magic. He sighed as he realized his mistake the Boadeer were too fast for him. He kicked the ground turned himself facing north. He was even more depressed as all he could see was a mountain valley going west, what he couldn't see was that it eventually turned southward...if only he knew that if he followed that mountain he would have reached an imperial road that would have allowed him to reach Mvezo city in half the time, even thou he would have to face bandits and such it would have been a much smoother journey.

Shaka resigned himself to going south. He was in a weird place. Not entirely sure what do on the way. Suddenly he realized that barely an hour had passed in game and thought that.... Swish, sqeeil, the boadeer stampede that he caused earlier had run into a porcuswine 1.5 meter pig covered in bronze quills. One of them had smashed directly into it getting caught in its quills on its locking them down at an angle the porcuswine could not fire and the more the Boadeer struggled the depper the quills went in.

Shaka quickly ran towards the noice. Upon seeing the half dead porcuswine he lept forward. The pig could not moved as the Boadeer was attached to it and kept struggling to get free. He had to think fast on how to take advantage of this opportunity. With no observations skill all he got were???? Next to all the stats, when tried to see the stats of porcuswine. He scoffed as he thought about how weak he was.

His eyes widened, as he saw his chance the boadeer was almost dead its skins was getting harder and harder a defence mechanism meant to protect it from danger. He waited carefully looking as most of it body hardened. Step! He bolted as his moment arrived he swang his fist at the boadeer. Ding! Crack! Above the boadeer - 4 and a sharp pain traveled from his fist to his brain, at the same time he lost twenty health, and broke his hand.... Luckily for him the impact drove one the quills of the porcuswine through the left eye of boadeer into the brain and through the right eye it died. However he gained no experience points those all went to porcuswine as it was still alive and had technically landed the finally blow.

Frustrated by outcome know had a new problem the moment he touched the dead Boadeer it would disappear releasing the porcuswine. The pained in his hand prompted him, he suffered and gained nothing he must take this risk. He slowly walked around the back of the porcuswine so that it could see him.

He prepared what little courage he had left and dashd towards the porcuswine. As soon as he cleared its rear right leg he continued running to make sure the porcuswine couldn't shoot its quills at him once he freed from it the Boadeer. As his hand touched the boadeer its started to disappear and second later it was gone and so was he the porcuswine tried to follow him back into the tall grass however with it poor eye sight it basically lost sight of him the moment fell in the tall grass. He was relieved when he realized that the pig didn't follow.

He quickly checked his bag and saw three new items the first was a crafting item 3xboadeer horns, the second was a accessory that had to be identified for it to be used and final item was scroll update piece[cursed]. He bellowed as he knew what he had just picked up from the boadeer.

During the past week many beta testers had been on various news networks sharing details about their time in Unity. One of the things that stood out were how growth type weapons were described as extremely hard to level up. It's is said that of the few epic quest done by the testers none of them could compare to even the most basic growth type weapons leveling up requirements they were both tideous and also difficult but most puzzling was the negative effect it had on the bionates.

Shaka cursed his luck with Boadeer and equipped his shield. He then knelt up looking at the de-stressed pig close to him. He knew what wanted he had to do his hand still aching. He rushed to the side of the pig and knocked it over. It was in much worse condition than he had previously thought, he quickly broke one of its already half broken quills and stabbed repeatedly at its neck.... His heart racing at the sight of the blood pool.

Around him edging him to finish the job. The beast drew its last breath by his hand which from pain or excitement he didn't know anymore. 30exp! He smiled a little touched the porcuswine and checked his bag as the body disappeared. He got a 3 piece of fresh meat from the Porcuswine, and 18 pieces of bronze quill.

He thought to himself what do I have to get a weapon. As he was about to close his bag space he saw that one of the quills was not on the stack and strangely enough it looked a lot longer and much sharper and with a iron hue...Finally his first weapon he knew he was lucky that its was spear. When Unity was first announced 5 years ago unlike some he ignored it until the mandatory nano-ID were announced 3months ago only then he do basic combat specialist survival course taught at his school where he feel in love with the spear
