"What the hell are you doing?" I halted when I heard a very annoying voice. I turn around and saw Jillian wearing a very s.e.xy dress showing her blessed b.r.e.a.s.t. I ignored her and continue with what I'm doing.

I am actually cleaning the whole house. Though it was big, I already finished cleaning half of the house. And now, I'm trying to make the ceiling spotless.

"What is she doing, Calyx?" I heard Jillian asked Calyx.

"She said she's cleaning." I saw him shrugs

We actually argue earlier when I was about to start cleaning. He explained that he can easily ask their maids to visit our house to clean but I said I wanna clean the house by myself. Things got heated when he didn't let me touch the cleaning tools but in the end, he gave up and just let me do what I want.

While cleaning, I have my wireless air pods in my ear.

"I checked out every manufacturer who might produce that kind of camera but nothing checks out. That camera installed at your house right now is unique and the serial number doesn't show any result when I tried to search em." I heard Kaiser from the other line. But I didn't respond.

There's only one camera that I need to remove and I know that someone's watching my every move. Good thing, I can act like I am acting in a Hollywood screen.

The camera is actually round and small. It was attached in a chandelier that no one would ever notice. However, I was able to notice it when I'm trying to clean the ceiling of our living room. I get off from the ladder and positioned it where I can easily reach out.

"What are you doing now, Severa?" I turned around to see Calyx looking at me with his scowling face. "Okay! Stop whatever shit you are doing and get yourself cleaned up! I didn't marry you to be my maid here."

He grabs me by the arm and he pulled me until we reach my room. I wasn't able to say anything because what he did made me staggered. He looks mad and I don't know why he's mad and it confuses me again.

He always makes me confused by his actions and sometimes, I am thinking that he is just pretending that he's still in love with Jillian. It could be true but maybe I'm wrong.

"You're done for today, Severa. Take a shower and we'll have dinner outside." My mouth gaped because of what he said. I was about to ask him why the hell we're going out to have dinner tonight but he was fast enough to leave my room.

I shake my head as I head to the shower room. Then I remembered, Jillian is actually here. Are we going out with her too?

-

I didn't know what to feel or what to act right now. This must be the worst scenario I've already encountered and I don't know why I decided to go on with this.

Jillian is in front of me, grinning. She's wearing a sheath spaghetti straps short silver sequined c.o.c.ktail dress. Her proud b.r.e.a.s.t is almost popping out and most guys stare at her like she's a freaking desert.

I g.r.o.a.n.e.d inwardly when Jillian stood up and welcome Calyx's arrival. She tried to kiss Calyx on his lips but he avoided it smoothly and sat next to me. It's my turn now to grin at her like a kid who won in petty fights.

Jeez. I can't still believe I'm having dinner with Jillian and Calyx. This is the most awkward situation ever. Especially people are whispering about us. And I heard someone said that I'm the most pathetic wife ever, letting Jillian steals my husband right in front of my eyes. I know right. I'm pathetic!

"Let's order." Calyx said after a while and open the menu.

Jillian did the same. Trying to hide her embarrassing face with me. I smiled as I watch her.

"You're not gonna order?" I heard Calyx asked then he puts down the menu. He turns to me and fixes the straps of my spaghetti straps. Unlike Jillian, I'm just wearing a black spaghetti strap loose tank tops paired with checkered trousers.

His sudden gestured makes me blush. I take a sip of water and adjusted myself to my sit. "I already ordered," I answered in a low voice and took my phone from my saddlebag.

Calyx nodded and called out a waiter. He gives out his order then Jillian gave her. It took a while before the waiter left our table. Jillian made a lot of requests that I found unnecessary. And the male waiter wasn't able to get her request immediately because he was staring at her b.r.e.a.s.t.

"So what's the reason why you need to invite the two of us for dinner, Calyx?" Jillian started. I didn't mind her and scan the place.

We are actually in the CBD area. It took us for 2 hours to came here from our place. The restaurant is actually classy and with a touch of vintage. I've seen a lot of displayed antiques. There's a touch of gold and bronze as the theme of the place, but the walls are all glass where we can clearly see what's outside. And the people outside can clearly see what's inside.

"I just need to clear everything between the three of us." Calyx answered and I turn to him. His eyes are not focused and I can see how his body is so tensed. Like he is afraid of something.

I lean against the chair and cross my arms. "You know the situation is clear, Calyx. You don't need to clear it again. I am your wife, and Jillian is just your f.u.c.k.i.n.g mistress. And of course, I never forget the fact that you're in love with her and not with me." I said calmly then I turned to Jillian who is actually grinning.

"It's a good thing that you accepted the fact." She said proudly.

"Of course, I accepted it. I am the wife. And you are the mistress. The other facts won't matter." I answered with so much confidence and her smiles fade.

"Can you stop arguing in front of me?" Calyx hissed.

I rolled my eyes at Jillian and she just gives me a sullen glance before she looks at Calyx with an apologetic look.

The waiter came with all the foods we ordered. Everything looks sumptuous and mouth-watering but I don't have the appetite to eat with them so I just keep my mouth shut. When the waiter left, I noticed how Calyx let out a deep sigh.

"If you can tell me what's really going on, then you won't be able to have this kind of problem. I can handle a raging storm, Calyx. I'm not as weak as you thought to be." I say in a low voice but enough for Jillian and Calyx to hear it.

"You're too young to handle a problem, Severa. Even getting married to someone who doesn't love you." Jillian remarks make me laugh for a little. I stare at her in disbelief. She really has the guts to speak ill to me.

"Stop it, Jillian." Calyx hissed at Jillian again. "You're making these things more complicated." He added.

I sigh. "Everything is already complicated as you can see. Why make things easier for the three of us? I'll agree to have a divorce with you, Calyx. But you won't agree. I wonder why."

Jillian was surprised by what I said. "What? Is that true Calyx?" She asked.

I smirk.

I guess Jillian didn't know that Calyx is the one who's making it more complicated. And I am already thinking all the possibilities why he can't agree to get our marriage done if he's not really in love with me. Or doesn't want to stay committed with me so he can f.u.c.k Jillian.

There's a slight faint of hope that I can feel from Calyx but I know that he is already compromised to think there's almost 40 surveillance camera installed in our house. I wasn't even aware of it after staying from that house for 3 months and I know Calyx is not the one who installed it.

And I have to find out the person behind all of this.

Calyx didn't respond. He bows his head and can't make eye contact with the two of us.

"Calyx, you said you'll make this thing right! Why can't you divorce her?!" She yells that makes everyone turn to us.

"Can you just turn down your voice bitch? Are you not afraid of getting embarrassed?" I hissed at her then I turn to Calyx. "Just answer her, Calyx. You can simply say yes, or no. What's so hard about it?"

My phone vibrated and I immediately took it from my saddlebag. Kaiser's name displayed as the caller name. I was about to answer the call when a loud explosion right outside the restaurant surprises us all. The windows got shattered and the guest who is sitting next to the windows were thrown out to their seats. Calyx also quickly pulled me down.

I was shocked at what had happened and I didn't expect it at all. My body was shaking but I immediately remembered Jillian.

"Where's Jillian?" I yelled. Calyx immediately turned to Jillian's whereabouts. I also turned to where Jillian is and we quickly came to her when we saw her sitting while holding her head and crying.

Suddenly, thick smoke started to fill the whole place. I quickly moved and tore the fabric of the table cloth.

"Cover your nose!" I said as I handed them the cloth I tore. I grabbed my earpiece inside the saddlebag and quickly turn on communication from my smartwatch and connected it to my earpiece. Then I dialed Kaiser's private line.

But Kaiser's not answering. I tried to call him using my phone with his personal number but he's already out of coverage.

I cursed loudly. The screaming grows loudly when the place already covered with thick smoke. Calyx has already been trying to call someone and I can hear his panic voice while Jillian is also freaking out.

I covered my nose and close my eyes then I took a deep breathe as I tried to calm myself. I tried to remember what I've learned, the training that I've been and the experiences that I encountered. The situation I'm in right now is not that really dangerous than what I've experienced before. But I don't think I might consider this not dangerous especially that Calyx is with me. And I don't think I can handle the pain if something will happen to Calyx.

Or I won't be able to forgive myself he gets hurt.
