Marriage In Trouble

"Seb, Steve, what are you doing here?" Dos was confused seeing the two man infront of me and Fifth.

"He said, kuya. What does it mean?" Fifth whispered. "Does he wants us to call him kuya? That's weird."

I didn't answered and stared at the two man in front of me. Yes, it's weird Fifth. Knowing, they never act like my Kuya after all.

Sebastian and Steven introduced themselves as Graham. They used our mother's maiden name as their last name.

Sebastian handles the Graham Corporation in Europe while Steven handles a secret organization which we were also belong to.

I already knew that Steven was the big man behind our organization. But I need to keep my mouth shut. I never told any of my friends that I know them, personally. Because I hate them, for leaving me.

But seriously? Why do they need to show up just now? When everything is already messed up.

"Why can't we be here? We were invited." Steven answered with a smirk on his face while looking at me.

"Well, we can be invited in a place party like this." Sebastian added while looking at Dos.

Dos just stared at them, still processing the possibilities why the two are here. He then looked at me which I immediately avoided his gaze.

"We'll talk after this party. For now, I just need Severa to be with us for the whole night." Steven commanded. He then extended his hands to me and smiled. That kind of smile that I always hate since we were young.

"Okay then. I'll tell the others." Dos agreed. He turned to Fifth and I who are still standing with my arms cling to him. "Let's go, Fifth. Nine, you'll go with them."

Fifth and I didn't make any complain and just nodded. He waited for me to let go of him and reach the hands of Steven before leaving us with Dos.

I gulped. My hands are cold and my knees are starting to go weak. I never thought this will be the feeling to be with them again.

Okay. It's crazy to think that Dos and the other gang doesn't know my personal connections with them. It was crazy for me as well since my brothers are the one who insisted not to tell anyone. There are even only a few people knew that I have a siblings.

Uncle Brian knew about it of course because he is my father's brother but he never met my brothers at all. Because my two brothers grew up handling the Graham's Company and not Trexler. And those two doesn't like to be linked with any of the Trexler's properties.

You asked me why? I don't freaking know. You asked them. -,-

My brothers were busy talking to other guest. Most of them are businessman and politicians. Some women tried to hit on them but my eyebrow just raised on how the two of them rejected them, flawlessly.

It seems like they are used having women around lurking on them. I rolled my eyes. Why am I with them? The gala already started and I don't have any idea on what is happening. My dress is making me cold.

I am wearing a gold couture dresses which makes me look like a fairy in the middle of the witches party. Why? Because I am the only one who is wearing without a touch of black. I feel like I am shining inside the darkness of hell.

This is Ifor idea. Even she's not here, she made sure that she has some contribution of this party somehow and she really nailed it.

I caught some men staring at me and every time they made a move, Sebastian immediately wrap his arms around my waist.

"Where's your husband?" I gasped when suddenly I heard Sebastian whispered in my ear. He already left his companion and grab me to one of the tables.

I tried to find Calyx in the sea of crowds starting when I arrived, but I haven't see him yet. Even Jillian is nowhere to be seen.

I don't know his plan for tonight and I am not sure where he is right now. He should be accommodating the guest but he's missing in action.

I bit my lip because I feel something different and it starting to freaks me out.

"Stop biting you lip, Severa!" I almost jumped in my seat when he slammed the table. Some guest near us were also shocked of what he did.

"Damn it! Why did you do that?!" I complained while holding my c.h.e.s.t while glaring at him. He's giving me a heart attack.

"You look so weak and vulnerable." He shakes his head like he was disappointed. "I didn't push Steven to let you in the organization just for us to see you like this." He continued that made me clenched my jaw.

This is what I don't like about him, Sebastian. He thinks he knows everything. He thinks that I am always so weak and vulnerable. He never acts like he is my brother, by blood. Unlike, Steven, he doesn't really care about what I always feel.

He look at me straight in my eye without any emotions at all. "Do you think we're here just because your husband invited us?"

I didn't answer. I don't know how to answer.

He smirked then continued. "We're here to know if you're still worth it to be part of the organization." My face turn to pale.

"What?" I asked, puzzled.

"Do you even think that I am not part of this?" He asked again.

I shakes my head then clenched my fist. "What are you trying to say Sebastian?"

"Stop it, Seb. We're here to party." Steven suddenly appear out of nowhere. Hands on his pocket and his tie is already loosen up.

I immediately stood up and face Steven. "What do you want from me? Why are you guys showing yourself in front of me again?"

Steven just raised his brow at me and tilted his head. "We just want you to remind something."

"Remind of me what? I'm not a kid anymore to be reminded of something! I am not even treated as your sister to be reminded by my brothers! Now tell me! What do you need to remind me?!" I snapped, trying to control my anger.

They're making my blood boils.

I don't have a memory with them not even a good one. The only memory I had with them was on the day they decided not to show up after our parents died. They just let me mourn for our loss, alone. Started on that day, I never wanted to see them nor hear anything from them.

But life has it's own way to cross my path with them and I hate it.

"You're not a kid anymore, Severa but you were not raised as weak as like this." He move closer. So I make a step back.

"You can't make it to the organization if you show us before that you don't let your emotions destroy you. Yet, you showed us that you don't let anyone or anything even just a single emotion, defeat you... But I guess, I was wrong. You'll always be that weak little girl I know. You don't even know how to handle a simple problem you have right now... Do you think, you deserve everything you have right now? Do you think, you also deserve to have Calyx as your husband?"

He smirked and make a step backward. "No. You don't deserve him. That's why we're here. To remind you of what you are before and to remind you... to protect your marriage at all cost."
