Lyricist: Her Revenge

Chapter 97 - Love, friendship, and enmity

"Calm down, Eddie", Alice spoke calmly, "I will take my leave."

"No", Eddie refused, "Millie, the reason I have called you is very important. Do you understand?"

"Yes", Millie nodded as she glanced down.

"See, someone stole my designs from the previous fashion week", Eddie began to speak.

"Stolen?" Millie tilted her head. Oh! She did realize her designs were stolen! She thought she would not be able to figure it out. Very, well.

"Yes", Eddie nodded, "I have some more designs right now. Millie, you are the only one I trust."

"Oh!" Millie gave a start, "I am glad that you chose to believe me." But you are doing a huge mistake by placing so much trust in me.

Alice and Eddie understood the evil glint that shone in her eyes as they exchanged glances. Eddie took outa blue briefcase. and waved it in front of Millie. Millie looked at it, as it was swayed from side to side. She looked at it hungrily like a wolf being hypnotized. The only fact that she couldn't pounce on it right now. She would gradually execute her plans.

Eddie stood up and pulled back the briefcase from Millie's focus. But Millie's eyes followed it until Eddie opened her locker and placed it inside.

"We need to be more careful from now on. You will keep an eye. Don't let anyone in without my permission. Do you understand?"

Alice sneaked glances at Millie. Very soon, she saw her nod very seriously. Millie spoke in an aloof tone, "I shall take my leave now."

"Wait", Millie saw Eddie walk towards her. She then handed her a bunch of keys, "Here are the keys."

Millie was once again pleasantly surprised. There was this one question, she wanted to ask, 'Are you sure you want to trust me to that extent?' But the words never left her mouth. She grabbed the keys and left the room. Alice and Eddie exchanged glances.

They say,

Women are very loyal when it comes to love, friendship, and enmity. They will never leave a battle halfway.

Now, this was also a bloody battle between women. Bloody in the sense that lives may be ruined. Two parties were involved. On one side, were Alice and Eddie. And on the other was Millie. It doesn't matter if anyone else was involved too.

Since Millie had decided to play with fire, they would happily accompany her till she was burnt alive.
