Lyricist: Her Revenge

Amy cursed under her breathe, "You're such a thick-skinned pervert."

Alice stifled her laughter & instead dragged Amy out of the room & down to the living room below.

"No search for other rooms?" Amy arched her eyebrows, "I quite enjoyed it."

"What?" Alice said with a mocking smile, "His bum?"

"Shut up!"

"It's okay", Alice chuckled, "But, we need to tamper the CCTV footage of us entering the Villa."

"Yeah, you're right", Amy nodded with a smirk.

"And also, we need the evidence of Zach entering with Lily."

"But...", Amy frowned under her mask.

"Nah! That is too bold. Plus, people can say it's photoshopped."

"Then, why did you?" Amy scratched her head.

"Of course! To threaten him."

After tampering with the footages, and gaining the necessary evidence, they sneaked out.

As they entered, they sneaked out without any problem. They passed by the guards who were still in their unconscious state. They huffed only after the reached the Black Porsche, which merged with the night perfectly. When they removed their night vision glasses & army masks, their faces were drenched in sweat.

"All's well that ends well", Alice remarked with a smile.

"Indeed", Amy nodded before she stepped on the accelerator. The car flew like it were on hot wheels. Alice, sitting in the front seat switched on the music player.

The next morning

Cath woke up with a flushed face & eye bags under her eyes. Last night, they were about to lose control after their steamy kiss. But Cath managed the situation & she sped off to the room that Aaron had arranged for her. They had already agreed on not having kids before she proved herself worthy enough for him.

That lead to a sleepless night for her. Also, her first film, 'A day in Spring', premiered in the theatres yesterday. The first thing she wanted to do was to give Alice a call & ask her out for the movie. After all, it was her first playback too. And if the film fared well, she might have a chance to be nominated in the Blue Pheonix Awards before the promos aired. She slowly got down, poured herself a glass of water & gulped it down like a savage beast. Only to find Aaron chuckling with a plate full of breakfast. He strode over with long strides & sat down beside her, "You must be hungry. I'll be leaving now. So, eat it after you wash up, like an obedient child." Saying so, he placed the china dish, filled with dumplings in her hands & left without her reply.

Cath was a bit stunned. She felt that her hubby might have felt awkward due to her insolent behavior last night. She shook her derisively.

Amy walked in the corridor, looking quite tired. She had dark circles & large eye bags under her ears, indicating she had a sleepless night because she was busy caring for her 5-year-old daughter who had unexpectedly got a high fever when she returned late last night. But, she still walked with her head held high. Not too far, she could hear a lazy chuckle. She turned her head & saw D.K. walking up to her with a smile. Her eyes darkened immediately as she couldn't discern the uneasiness in her face & turned to leave. But D.K. grabbed her hand.

"Why?" D.K. chuckled, "Will you still refuse my help?"

"Mind you!" Amy gritted her teeth viciously, "People are watching."

"Never mind", D.K. shrugged, "When I'm with you, the world fades away."

Amy's heart skipped a beat, but she managed to free herself from his grasp. Then, she continued with her walk. But, D.K. managed to hold her back again, "You thought you could avoid me? Let me tell you, never!"

"Mind your words!" Amy flared, "You, Dylan Kang!"

No one rather than she knew his full name. He preferred to be called D.K. rather than his full name.

"Why? You still don't get over me leaving you at the crucial time?"

Amy's pupils dilated & she freed herself before entering her room. But before he could do so, she was pulled away by D.K. outside & to the parking lot. He forcefully made her sit inside his car.

"What the hell are you doing?" Amy yelled, "I already said that I'm over with your explanations."

"Me too!" He leaned in as he fixed her seat belts, "This time, I'm back with evidence."

Amy was stunned with what she had heard.
