Chapter 50 - Voiceover

Daniel, for the first time, rode a Royal Enfield with Alice. It was also his first time to ride behind a girl.

Never mind!

They were so tired that nothing much happened when they returned home that night.

The next morning

When Alice woke up, she tried to wake up. But all in vain! Because? Because she was locked in Daniel's embrace. He had clasped both of her arms in a cross position so that she could not escape easily.

But, she called out softly, "Daniel? Wake up! I have the interview today."

Soon, Daniel woke up groggily, "Good morning!"

He pushed her on the bed & kissed her hungrily. His tongue pried straight into her mouth that she could not resist. His tongue kept on exploring & devouring her mouth. The kiss was so intense that they were about to lose control. Alice sat up with tinges of red on her cheeks. Before the big guy would do that again, she fled the scene to prepare omelets for both of them. Seeing her escape, Daniel felt sleepy again & he plopped down on the bed again.

15 minutes later

Alice finished prepping the omelets. After eating her share, she prepared a cup of coffee for the big guy upstairs. When she entered the room, she saw that he was fast asleep. So, she tiptoed near him & took a strand of her hair. With that, she tickled the big guy's nose. Daniel woke up with a jump & rubbed his nose. Alice was laughing whole-heartedly. She looked so cute that he immediately punished her by kissing her hard. The kiss was so intense that it took away her breath. Their lips separated when they both were out of breath.

"Did that drug affect your self-control too?" Alice squinted her eyes.

Daniel nodded with a smile.

Alice rolled her eyes. After all, the big guy was having a hard time keeping his hands to himself. He pounced on her several times last night. In the morning, she was greeted by his good morning kiss. She handed him his cup of coffee and was about to leave.

"Let me go!", Alice yelled when the big guy pulled her into a hug from behind. They plopped down on the bed together.

"Nope", he nestled his face at the crook of her neck.

"Umm...", Alice flashed, "Something is poking me in my b.u.t.t."

"That's because I feel aroused."

"..." Alice was speechless.

She elbowed him & quickly fled the scene. The big guy was left alone in the bedroom, laughing like silly.

Jessica was worried sick because Zach didn't return last night. He said that he & Lily were going to execute Plan B because Plan A failed miserably without a scratch on Alice. It was already half past eight. Today, he was supposed to meet a famous music director & he didn't show up yet. If not, the company was going to give this opportunity to another budding singer who joined the company recently. She had tried calling him numerous times but it appeared busy. So, finally, she decided to pay him a visit at his mansion.

30 minutes later

The guards had not shown up yet. The lights were still on here & there. Seeing this, Jessica furrowed her brows. Maybe he got home really late last night that he still in a deep slumber. Maybes were filing Jessica's head. She entered the living room. It looked like the mansion didn't experience any sleep last night. Dinner was spread out on the dining table which looked like cold stones sitting on the table.

Maybe...he didn't return last night?

Alice was currently in a car with Amy. they were heading to the TV station for the interview. On the way, Amy handed her some stacks of doc.u.ments.

"What's these?" Alice asked while she took them.

"I've arranged some jobs for you. Choose a few from them", Amy explained.

Alice nodded with an 'oh'.

She rummaged through the doc.u.ments.

A cooking show?

Na!

Another playback?

Not, bad.

Talk show?
