Lyricist: Her Revenge

Alice was so furious that her nostrils were flared & her hands were shaking terribly. She took a deep breath to calm herself down. Just then, Zach pulled out the gag from his mouth & poured a glass of cold water over Daniel's face. He was in a homey shirt & pajamas. He woke up with a jump which made the other two laugh.

"Long time no see!", Zach leaned in as he put his hand on his shoulder, "My friend."

Daniel shrugged off his hand in disgust. This time, Lily laughed & grabbed his chin, "My love. How are you?"

Daniel snorted in disgust while Alice was about to erupt like a volcano. She spoke through gritted teeth, "Assistant Lin, take your positions!"

"Yes, Ma'am", Lin could tell that the Madam was quite angry.

The armed guards soon took their positions around the corners. Alice pointed her revolver to the thug nearest to Daniel. Then she began her countdown, "3...2...1"

BLAST BLAST BANG BLAST BANG BANG!!!

A few gunshots were heard & all the thugs fell on the ground one by one. Blood was spilled everywhere. Zach & Lily were shocked & fear was written on their faces. Daniel snorted in mockery.

"Ma'am, shall we capture them?", Lin asked.

"Not yet. Wait for my order", Alice added sternly.

"Yes, Ma'am."

Alice had already noticed the wires hanging from above. She shoved her revolver in her pocket before grabbing a wire. She wrapped it around her palms before jumping off the short cliff. With one swift movement, she landed on the floor perfectly. After all, she was a born Mischief Queen. Her movement was so swift, it made Lily numb with fear. She directly jumped into Zach's arms but he pushed her away. The events occurred so quickly that the two of them were still frozen at their place. They only saw who was in front of them, when Daniel laughed out weakly.

"You...how did you?" Lily almost choked herself with her saliva.

"Surprised?" Alice smirked evilly.

"Why did you come here? How?" Zach grabbed both of her arms. Alice nudged him swiftly & an elegant kick landed on his c.h.e.s.t. He fell on the ground with a thud.

"You...", Zach was furious while he stood up & raised his hand to slap her. But, he felt the cold metal against his forehead. Lily covered her mouth & gasped in shock. Zach turned to see that he was surrounded by guns. Alice smiled & looked down before raising her head.

PAK!

A thunderous slap landed on Zach's face. The impact was so great that her finger imprints were deeply imprinted on his cheek. Alice had a darkened expression & her nostrils were flared. Her impact was so huge that he staggered back a few steps.

"Check on him!", Alice ordered sternly & impatiently.

Then, she proceeded towards Lily. Lily was so frightened that she took a step back. Just then, a heavy slap landed on her delicate face. Lily stumbled down on the floor.

"This is for plotting against him!", Alice yelled while pointing at Daniel.

PAK!

"This is for creating scandals against him."

PAK! Another slap landed on her face. It was already swollen after two consecutive slaps.

"For your attempt to cling on him."

PAK!

"For plotting against me."

PAK! A speck of blood appeared at the corner of her lips.

"This", Alice bellowed, "for hurting him."

PAK!

"This for kidnapping him."

PAK!

"For being so shameless."

PAK!

"For still existing on this Earth!"

Seeing that, Alice was losing her self control, Daniel got up from his chair. Lin already loosened his ropes before. He immediately went up to her & pulled her into a bear hug from behind, "It's okay. Calm down."

Alice took in the familiar scent & closed her eyes, "How can I calm down?"

But, to her surprise, she had already calmed down. She turned her head & buried herself in his c.h.e.s.t. He hugged her tight. Tonight he was really happy. When he was supposed to propose her tonight, he was kidnapped by someone who loves her too, but is a psycho. But, she appeared as his savior, his knight in shiny armor! He kissed her crown & breath in her familiar scent.

She raised her head & looked at him before placing her hand on his cheek, "Are you hurt somewhere?"

"I'm alright", Daniel beamed.

"How did they kidnap you?"

"I was in the kitchen when someone from behind gagged me with chloroform, I guess."

Alice stared deeply in his eyes before standing on tiptoe & placing a peck on his lips. Lin coughed awkwardly at their intimacy. The guards had already tied Zach up & were busy tying Lily. So, they didn't notice it. They snatched their phones away & handed them over to Alice.

"Please let me go. I did nothing!", Lily pleaded with joined hands.

"Nothing?", Zach snorted, "Because of you, I ended up like this!"

"You self-centered bastard!", Lily yelled back, "Even at this crucial moment, you think of yourself!"

Alice rolled her eyes & pulled Daniel by his arm. Naturally, Lin followed behind, "Madam, keeping them here will surely brag some attention, which will be of no good."

"Let it be", Alice shrugged, After all, I need something to expose them or else they will rise up again. Weeds must be uprooted before they destroy other plants."

Lin nodded with a serious face. Daniel bit his lips to suppress his laughter. The young man's serious mannerisms made him look like an old man!
