Lumina Church: From An Assassin To A Nun

Duke Rothenmas Mansion.

It's a 3 story mansion with the first floor consisted of dining rooms, kitchen, toilet, living rooms and maid living quarters; the second floor consisted of Duke room, Duke son room, and guest rooms; and the third floor consist of working spaces and library.

As of now, Villia has detected 16 maids, 4 chefs, 30 guards, 1 butler, 8 assassins, 12 injured girls, 15 zombies, the duke and his son, and one woman surrounded by all of those zombies, when she scanned the mansion with her skill. Three assassins are waiting on the front entrance right now, waiting to ambush all suspicious person who entered this mansion.

Villia scan all of the available information, but funnily, she can't find any traces of researcher on their secret labs, as only zombies left in there.

"They run away huh…"

The researchers or one of the researchers must be the mastermind behind all of this. Villia didn't know who he or she is, but whoever it is, he's too cautious. Villia didn't know if he's smart or paranoid, but whatever it is, Villia will search for a hint about their whereabouts after she arrives inside the secret lab.

But…there's one thing she must do before she does that.

With that, Villia softly chants the spell to use telepathy once again.

Inside a house not far from Duke Rothenmas mansion, 5 humans can be seen discussing stuff with each other. There are 3 male and 2 female among them, with the brown-skinned lady acting as their leader and ordering them.

"Then you know what you must do right?"

All of the people beside her nod their heads. All of them are experienced adventurers, these kinds of job might be rare, even so, it's much more important than the task of vanquishing monster, as their nations might get destroyed from the inside and not because of a monster attack.

[Guild Leader.]

All of these adventurers are ready to leave after they have understood their mission layout, even so, the brown-skinned woman ask them to stop after she receives Villia telepathy. Yes, the brown-skinned woman is actually the dark elf Guild Leader who's disguising herself as a human right now, Fiore Flud Flovernyx.

Having Villia contacting her this time around mean that she has recovered essential information which requires their help. Which is also why Fiore expression turned serious as she heard Villia report.

[I didn't find the mastermind inside the Rothenmas mansion…there's possibility they're trying to escape the city after realizing their plan's failed and…]

[There's a possibility that there's 4 years boy with them, no it's not just a possibility…I'm sure there's a 4 years old boy with them.]

[Yes, a boy…you might need to request Galvrance to help you on that matter.]

[Your guess right, that boy is Galvrance, son. I'll contact you again after I got more information, as of now, his son is the only hint we have to catch them.]

[W-] "-ait a minute! Enmi! Enmi!"

"Tch…cutting the communication again…"

"Supervisor, what's the situation?"

An old man with a stout white bread looks at Fiore with askance, same as the other adventurers in this room. If they didn't even notice that the situation has changed, then all of them here can go and retired as an adventurer today!

Fiore breathes in fresh air after receiving new information from her, and start ordering the other adventurers after she has sorted the new plan in her minds.

"Change of plan! Filant take your team to the north gate, Mavieli takes your team to the west gate, Charlison takes your team to the South gate, and of course, Tharen will take his team to the East gate. Search for any suspicious person who tried to exit the city with a 4 years old boy in tow or any object that may be used to hide that child! The possibilities that they're already escaping is high, that's why don't forget to ask the Guard whether they have seen someone suspicious. Move out."

"Yes!"

All of them move out of the house as fast as they can after getting the orders. Although there are possibilities the mastermind's still hiding inside the city, making sure is always better than doing nothing at all.

"Things have gone troublesome all of a sudden…still, what's their aim in getting Galvrance, son? *sigh* I'm sure I'll understand more after I meet Galvrance again…Telepathy."

[Get Galvrance in front of me…now!]

Villia let out a sigh after she has finished her report.

"30 minutes…"

Only 30 minutes left for her to rescue a certain someone from this mansion. To be more precise, she needs to help her or all of her earlier efforts might be useless!

"Galvrance…if you choose the second choice after all I've done today…I'll kill you!"

Villia mutter with annoyance and use stealth to hide her presence, before she jumps up and silently go inside the mansion through the empty guest room.

A n.a.k.e.d woman can be seen circled by 15 excited men in front of her. L.u.s.t may fill the rooms if it's a normal situation, but it's not…as all of the man around her aren't excited because she's a woman, but it's because she's alive, as they keep roaring and attacking the tube filled full of unknown water with her inside.

The woman who's inside the tube now is Ravelina, Galvrance wife that's supposed to wait for him in Tyria Village with their son. She didn't know what happened, but it just happened.

The past few days are hard for her. Her husband disappearance cause the farm owner rented his farmland to another person which result in her getting kicked out from the house which is also the farm owner property as she didn't want to comply with his request.

Without home and money, she starts to search for works, and her once healthy body got weakened as all of the money she earns only exist to buy food for her son, while she's just eating black bread for every single day.

Ravelina also keeps searching her missing husband while carrying her son. When one day a man she met said he know the information about her husband and ask her to follow him which she happily complies as she has finally seen a ray of light again after hearing his answer and then…what's the end result?

Becoming a capture, thrown into this tube full of weird medicine, and saw her son got tortured with all kind of equipment, all in the name of research she didn't even understand! She wants to ask why her son! Why did he need to suffer? Did he ever do anything wrong to them?

Seeing her son suffering makes her want to kill every single one of them, yet she can't do anything to them…and today, all of the other men who are once calm starts to go rampage and bite some of the researchers which lifted her mood, yet she also feels fear for her son life.

Even so, that fear soon disappear as she saw a skinny old man took her son out and escape with few researchers who're still alive, leaving these 15 zombies inside with her. She, of course, happy that her son survives, yet she also feels sad at the same times, as she didn't know what fate lies in wait for her son.

Although she didn't know what fate lies in wait for both of her son and her husband, she knew well what kind of fate she might meet soon enough. She can feel that the longer she's inside this tube, the weaker she becomes. She wants to sleep, yet she's afraid to sleep.

'Am I going to die soon…Galvrance…Lavi…'

"Why did you decide that you're going to die before you're actually dying?"

A cold voices appeared out of nowhere and make Ravelina lifts her head with a lot of efforts, only to see the zombies who surrounded her before starts to charge to the place where a black-clothed girl who has appeared out of nowhere stand.

Ravelina didn't know that girl, even so, she wants to warn the girl to watch out, for these zombies are strong, but before she can say anything the girl has rushed ahead and slices down every zombie she meets while throwing a knife into the tube holding the woman every time she gets that chance.

Each knife she threw crack the tube and each stab she makes kill the zombies who attacked her. Her action might seem brutal to the others, but for the woman who saw that, her movement is graceful beyond compare.

Ravelina eyes grew heavier over time, yet she's not sad like before anymore…but happy. She knew the girl in front of her comes to rescue her, which also mean there'll be someone saving her son too.

With a strong person like the girl in front of her come for rescue, her son safety is as sure as confirmed.

"I'll kill your son if you close your eyes!"

Ravelina eyes which are about to close opened up in an instant after she heard that words, she didn't know why the girl say that word but without her realizing, the girls have arrived in front of her leaving the corpse of zombies behind and stab her dagger at the glass tube with all of her strength.

*Crack crack crack*

With that stab, crack start to spread and connect with other cracks created by her throwing daggers. Water starts to flow from those cracks, but the cracks can't hold out after all as the water pressure attack and turned the crack into a hole for which a huge burst of water comes out before Ravelina falls weakly to the girl embraces.

"You've worked hard."
