Loving A Triple Threat

Chapter 6 - The Movies Actor

Another text on her phone from Sena. Gi replied quickly before her singing class was about to begin.

**Gi Reyn: ok This Sunday. Sorry about last weekend we had a family function, but I checked this weekend is clear.**

Ms Ling was waiting patiently for the four students to arrive. It was D-day, the day that Gi had to perform a rap.

She was on a high recently, her dance assessment exceeded everyone's, including her own, expectations. She attained an A+ the highest grade which was difficult because if even one subcategory was low, her grade would be pulled down. She received an A+ in all five categories. An A+ did not signify perfection, she still had room to improve, it did mean that she was at the top for her current age and curriculum.

And then there was the surprise encounter with the Policeman.

Gi had a lot to smile about and great content for her rap. She listened to her rivals' sing, first Misha Kay and then Suzie Kim. Both were Sopranos and excellent singers. While there were other girls in her year, she was up against these two the most.

Some thought she was friends with Suzie especially, but how could you be a rival and a friend. Gi didn't think it was possible. They were usually civil to each other, sometimes they would bump heads, but she would never, ever trust a rival.

Suzie finished her rendition of a popular song from the states, a Taylor Swift number, she was terrible at English but had no issues mimicking the greats. Gi clapped politely.

"Miss Reyn," Ms Ling called and smiled encouragingly at her student. Gi pulled on a hoodie to help her get into character and to hide her face a little if she was being honest.

"Music?" Ms Ling asked seeing nothing cued on the mp3 player.

"No music Ms Ling," she replied.

Ms Ling nodded. Her cue to begin.

It was going to be embarrassing, but Gi began moving side to side copying the breakdance moves the boy bands performed. She pulled the hoodie well over her head and looked at the ground as she swung her arms.

** RAP **

Yo.

To all the boys out dere.

I am Gi, and I am in da hood.

**

She continued to dance, ignoring a giggle from her rivals, that was merely her intro, her rap was about to start.

.

** RAP **

.

.

It ain't my fault

.

I 'm standing up yeah

.

Like I was told

.

And den dem boyz

.

.

Throughout her rap, she stomped her feet and channelled her inner gangster as best she could. She thought of Sena, the hero of the story that she wasn't able to tell. If she did her days at the school would be over. Ms Ling wouldn't say anything, but one of her rivals would never miss an opportunity to pounce.

Ms Ling's face scrunched when she swore, but it was hard to rhyme split. Shit was the only word that worked well in the situation. She also thought it was a gangster trait to swear.

And just when they thought she was finished, she sang a melody in her mezzo voice.

.

** SING **

.

Would you stand tall with your head held high?

.

Or would you crawl under a rock and cry?

.

Would you crumble from the first attack?

.

Or face your fears and never look back?

.

**

.

Gi upped her dance during the refrain, giving a rap "Yo" in time with her inner beat.

.

** RAP **

.

I'll never miss a beat,

.

I'm lightning on my feet,

.

Just watch me, Ms Ling,

.

I'm going to win.

.

**

.

And with a flourish, she bowed to Ms Ling. Who stood and applauded.

There was a commotion behind her, it was not the dance studio where she had a mirror too see, she had to turn, and there was Ren grinning, holding up his phone which was aimed directly at her.

"Ren!" she shouted.

Ms Ling pushed past Gi and addressed the boys, Ren had a friend with him who was standing behind Suzie.

"I'm sorry!" Ren exclaimed.

"Young man, you are not allowed in here. Wait," she ordered him, and Ms Ling turned back to Gi. "I'm sorry Gi, I didn't want to interrupt you once you got started. It was a fine performance, and I couldn't be happier."

Ms Ling then turned back to Ren and his friend.

"You two will follow me," she declared in a more serious tone than Gi had ever heard from the kind teacher.

"Um Ms Ling," Suzie said apologetically, "This is Yo-Han Byun, from Mr Sunshine and Misaeng."

Ms Ling stared at the older boy.

Her face melted and she approached him quickly, "Oh Yo-Han, may I call you Yo-Han?" Gi could not believe what she was seeing, Ms Ling was going all fan girl at an actor ten years her junior. Her previous anger was forgotten instantly.

She held out both hands like a junior would to an elder, and he shook them smiling politely. "Yes of course. I'm so sorry we came uninvited, my brother said we had to come, and that it was okay." He looked at Ren and fake scowled.

"Oh no, no. Of course, you are welcome in my class anytime Yo-Han. Please tell us what did you think of Gi's performance?" Ms Ling asked as if he was the master judge at the Asia Artist Awards.

Yo-Han Byun tilted his head to the side and gave a cheeky grin exactly like he did in the dramas, he was a famed comedic actor. "I would say eleven out of ten. I can see why my brother likes her."

Ren's face immediately went deep red which was accentuated by his blonde hair.

"Han!" he protested using the familiar shortened version of his brother's name.

Yo-Han smiled devilishly taking no mercy on his brother, this is what brothers were for after all, "Ren brought me here today to impress Miss Reyn, but I think I will try for her myself."

Ren fell to the ground as if in real physical pain. He was dying of embarrassment.

Gi walked directly to Ren, ignoring her rivals faces and leaned down holding out her hand. She was still wearing her hoodie, and it was pulled over her head affording her some camouflage.

She winked at Ren.

He did not smile or show any outward sign of recognition. Gi knew he was a good actor right at this moment.

She pulled him up off the floor, although he used mostly his own power, he pretended it was her strength. She turned to face Yo-Han Byun, the famous actor, "I like Ren, you won't be getting any success here." She placed her hand to her c.h.e.s.t for emphasis on the word here.

Ren and his brother laughed at the declaration while her rivals and Ms Ling looked aghast that she rejected a famous actor.

Yo-Han turned to Ms Ling and pleaded, "Ms Ling, can my brother and I take Miss Reyn for a walk? I don't have much time and I would be most grateful." He then gave Ms Ling a smile that melted her heart.

Gi was torn, she wanted Yo-Han to succeed, but at the same time, she was angry at Ms Ling for being putty in his hands. Ms Ling was supposed to be strong and unflappable.

Ms Ling nodded, "You will need to take another as a chaperone."

Misha Kay, Miao Nya and Suzie Kim immediately put their shoulders back and sat up straighter if that were possible. They stared at Yo-Han with large cow eyes, but he merely turned to Gi Reyn and asked, "Who should we bring?"

Gi felt like saying Ms Ling, to spite her rivals, but that would be awkward, she looked from one to another, and they begged her with their eyes without saying a word.

There was only one to way to separate them, so she decided, "I have known Suzie Kim the longest, it is the only fair way for me to decide."

Suzie jumped to her feet triumphant. Since Gi had declared for Ren that left Yo-Han open so she held out her hand for him to take. He did not hesitate and took the beautiful girl's hand.

Gi clamped her hand to her mouth, she had forgotten an important fact when deciding. Suzie Kim was promiscuous.

Ren leaned closer and whispered, "Don't worry I won't post the video unless you approve." He had misjudged her anxiety, but it was a good topic for her to discuss.

"Let me watch first if it's not too embarrassing I will approve," she replied.

The four left the singing room as quickly as Suzie could pull Yo-Han away from Ms Ling.

"Where should we go?" Suzie asked, and Gi scowled at her. It was her date, Suzie was the chaperone.

Yo-Han looked thoughtful, "Movie?" He asked.

Suzie looked pleadingly at Gi as Yo-Han and Ren looked questioningly at her as well. It seemed it was her decision.

She checked the time, it was six, they would miss acting but that was Ms Ling, so it should be fine. "Okay, but I don't have any money," Gi said embarrassed. The school fed them, and she had an annual pass for the train, she never needed money, and they were massively in debt, so there was no reason to take an allowance.

Yo-Han immediately waved it away. "It's my idea so it's the least I can do."

"Plus you're loaded," Ren said.

His brother pretended to be embarrassed, smiled and grabbed Suzie's hand pulling her in the direction of the shopping quarter, "The movies are good because it's dark little brother."

Ren ran after his brother pulling Gi along, "Yeah, you don't want to be recognised with a seventeen-year-old girl."

Suzie was shorter than Gi by five inches, some boys found her cute, and others drooled over her because of her curves. She looked younger than Gi so when she spoke the boys were surprised, "I'm eighteen," she announced.

Yo-Han whistled, turned back to Gi and smiled, "Good choice Miss Reyn, good choice."

Gi g.r.o.a.n.e.d inwardly. It seemed Yo-Han was promiscuous too.

Ren guided them to the movie theatre, Yo-Han was not local to this area, where Ren attended a Daeil which was just around the corner. Within ten minutes they were seated in the back row watching a zombie film. Yo-Han just purchased the tickets and didn't give anyone a choice.

Ren and Gi were disinterested in the movie, so she connected her earphones to his phone to listen to the recording of her rap song. Listening to it back Gi was surprised how good she sounded. If she didn't know it was her, she would have thought she was a professional.

"Okay?" Ren asked.

Gi nodded shyly.

"I'll tag you in it so if it gets noticed your followers will increase," Ren informed her.

"Ren you are too kind," she said looking at him in the dim light that the phone and the movie provided.

He smiled back at her, and just when it was getting romantic, they both noticed a strange noise.

Suzie was sitting to Gi's left, and Yo-Han was seated to her left. Ren was seated furthermost away from his brother on the right of Gi.

Gi turned to her left while Ren tried to cover her eyes with his hand, but he was being gentle and missed.

Gi could not believe what she was seeing, her mouth dropped and hit the carpeted floor.

Suzie had her hand down Yo-Han's pants, and it was moving quickly back and forth.

Even with Gi watching for the brief moment Suzie did not stop. Gi quickly turned her head and buried it in Ren's c.h.e.s.t. He stroked her hair gently, but all she could hear was the fap, fap, fap of Suzie's hand on Yo-Hans skin.
