Loving A Triple Threat

Chapter 23 - Tent City 2

Ren felt awful. He picked up his phone, opened his messenger app, typed in a message to Gi. Deleted it before sending.

He was lone, in his tent in, Zone A. Once he saw that harrowing image on the screen his heart sank. It was all his fault. Why didn't she take him up on his offer to get a model shoot? She could have won even then, or at least top ten.

He had left Jiang, she was happy with her friends, and she must have sensed he was depressed. He went looking for Gi, but she was nowhere to be seen, so he came to his tent, and it was then that his social media started going off.

They were finding him because his Instagram hosted her rap, and comments started to pour in. A few hundred. Mostly from guys at the event. They were also tagging him on twitter asking what did he knew about her, and a few other nasty comments like; asking if he tapped that gash, and if he did his d.i.c.k must be small because it still looked tight as a button.

Netizens could be extremely rude, safely behind their anonymity. Social media was a business tool, and the most effective marketing available. But the other side of the coin, it could be the most toxic place on the planet.

No one would speak that way to your face. But they felt free to hate on twitter and comment on Instagram.

"Oh Gi, why did I need to be so stupid about your security guard." He said to himself.

He opened his phone and sent her a text. No more being an arrogant arsehole, he decided.

Ren: I'm sorry

Ren: I'm sorry about the image

Ren: I'm sorry that I was arrogant and rude today.

Ren: I'm sorry about everything

Ren: I looked for you after the competition but couldn't find you anyway. I felt like shit. I didn't get the courage to text you until now. I came back to my tent when I couldn't find you.

He watched his phone. He waited for an hour, checking his phone every few mins just to see if she read the message. They were still undread.

Then the news of Zero hit. And if there was a flood before, now the whole ocean smashed into his twitter and Instagram. Normally he wouldn't be affected by someone else, but when they got nothing from her accounts, they traced the rap video back to him. He imagined there were five times as many who didn't bother.

He went to youtube and found a video someone uploaded of her dancing with Blackpink singing her song. When it peaked, it was getting one hundred comments, and more likes, a second. It was insane. It quickly built up a head of steam and somehow must have gone viral. And there would be more tomorrow as it spread to the wider netizens community.

The influencers were picking it up.

Ren was stunned. Gi went from a no-one to the hottest Kpop hopeful in a few hours.

And she was probably unaware. Or she was being swamped; that's why she didn't have time to even read his texts.

He had left it too long. She would be a much stronger partner than Jiang. He should have gone with his first choice. Ren hoped he could fix their relationship and get back in her good books. Not only because he liked her, but, she was now desirable for his career as well.

Cursing himself, he decided to get to sleep before all the guests arrived back. There was nothing else to do other than stare despondently at his phone, and she was probably in an inaccessible area with Blackpink. It seemed they were best buddies now.

To think Blink would stand with her.

Joon was dumber than him, and that was quite a feat.

As the thoughts of Gi circled Ren's mind, he drifted off to sleep.

<>

He was dreaming.

Was he swimming? It was wet.

Mmm, what was that? He began to rise from a deep sleep. Was he swimming?

He was experiencing a strange sensation. And as he rose from the deep sleep, his mind began to make sense of it. It wasn't immediate, it was gradual. And the swimming sensation began to evolve.

He realised. Someone was kissing him. He could smell her. She was soft, and her lips were wet.

Did Gi find him?

His eyes were closed, and he was still groggy. He wrapped his arms around her. And kissed her back. It was probably the most sensual kiss he had ever had. His grogginess added to the effect.

As he slowly waked he thought, this was the best way to be woken up. Nothing could compare.

He was almost fully awake, and he rolled her, his eyes were still closed, as he lay her on her back and slid his half his body onto hers.

She tasted so sweet.

His passion awoke, as it did, and he kissed her with a fiery passion. The depression was forgotten. The apology had worked. He sunk into her sweetness, remembering the swimming dream momentarily. He would never forget that swimming dream, it was weird and delightful at the same time.

His right hand c.a.r.e.s.sed her legs. He felt them up and down, feeling her soft skin. His libido had risen, and he decided to test a boundary. She would stop him if she didn't want it. His slid his hand slowly from her outer t.h.i.g.h to her inner t.h.i.g.h and c.a.r.e.s.sed it up and down as they continued to kiss.

He then slid his hand up, and up her inner t.h.i.g.h to where her sweet, and now widely viewed, p.u.s.s.y was located. She g.r.o.a.n.e.d through the kiss as he rubbed his finger up and down her p.a.n.t.i.e.s. She was wearing p.a.n.t.i.e.s. Nothing else. He thought that was strange. Gi wouldn't…

He pulled his head back and opened his eyes.

"Jiang!" he exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

She looked down to where his hand was situated. "I thought that would be obvious." She replied.

His mouth opened and closed.

She giggled softly. "I thought I would test the merchandise before committing to purchase."

"Are you kidding?" He said. She disgusted him.

She felt his rejection more than heard. "Are you rejecting me? Me?" She said louder and louder.

"I was asleep!" He said. "I thought you were Gi."

"Gi Reyn?" She asked, and he nodded. She scoffed. "How can she help you more than me?"

In Jiang's mind that was all that mattered. The s.e.x was just for fun and love didn't come into the equation at all.

"She has way more followers than you now," he said.

"She didn't yesterday, I checked!"

"Did you see what happened?" He asked.

She spat. "She ruined Joon's party. And that was a monstrous error." Jiang saw the short look of pain on Ren's face.

"You care for her?" She laughed, it was not a pretty laugh, she laughed like a villain in a play.

"She's special," he said.

Jiang for all her bl.u.s.ter, for all her callous calculations, was hurt. And when hurt, it was her nature to hurt back. Her brained wracked for ways to hurt Ren, and especially Gi, for all of ten seconds, before she arrived at a conclusion.

"If she has blown up, like you say, she's perfect for you. You're the same age after all. But Ren, she is tainted. Insulting Big Wang, and Joon in front of YG, and worst of all, making an enemy of the Seo family."

She let her words sink in.

"What you should do is date her, become a power couple," she paused for dramatic effect, "And then scandalize her."

She let that sink in before continuing with an explanation.

"There are no up and coming villains Ren, and you," she tapped his c.h.e.s.t, "Could take that. It's there. She's tainted already, which will help the scandal slide off you. And you are the man! You will be a hero, and she will be a s.l.u.t."

"Stop," he said. The words hurt him, he would never do that. Not to anyone and especially not to Gi.

"You will then be thrust into the spotlight. The Villainous Ren. The Womanizer. It will increase your allure, and the villain roles will flood in. And as you know, the villain roles are the best. You will be next. Your future, a long future, secured."

Jiang made most of it up, to twist him. She had no idea that a s.e.x scandal would do any of what she said. But even if the planted idea tortured him, that would be enough for her. And it was working already.

He was silent, his head dropped.

She felt like a woman spurned as she picked up her clothes, and put them back on. Oh, she hoped he took the bait. She would laugh that day. She would laugh.
