Loving A Triple Threat

Chapter 1 - The Rogue

The thump, thump of feet was so loud it covered all of the sounds the boys made. They lay on their stomachs, beneath the bookcase, at the rear of the studio. The smell of the pine floor wafted into one's nose as he squirmed to get a better view.

Another disturbed a pile of dust, which was a mistake, because he immediately sneezed.

"Shh," Sena chided.

"You shush," Hyuk replied.

"I can't see," Seok complained as he moved Sena's foot from in front of his face.

The three boys were in the eleventh grade, two from the most exclusive private boy's school, Daeil High School, while Sena was from a lowly public school. But they had been friends for the longest time.

"She's gorgeous," Sena breathed and wiggled his h.i.p.s worrying that if he got an erection, it would be more than uncomfortable in the tight space.

"Who? They're all hot," Hyuk said.

"I can't see," Seok complained.

"Then move you idiot, just don't make any noise," Sena breathed the words like an order, as quietly as he could.

"We'd be in so much trouble," Seok said.

"Gi," Sena said.

"Which one is she?" Hyuk asked.

"Are you blind?" Sena scoffed, "She is by far the best looking girl here."

"They all look good to me," Seok said, he finally had a view after much squirming.

"Of course they would. You go to an all boys school. And you guys have no taste," Sena lectured. "Ok, she's the tall one with the long legs. Oh wow, look at her kick."

Sena wriggled his h.i.p.s, he was getting a semi so he pushed his a.s.s up to the bottom of the bookcase so he wouldn't kill himself.

"Oh yeah," Hyuk said. "I get it now. Wow, she has curves … the others can't compare."

"I can't see it. I like the short one in the corner," Seok stated his preference.

"That's fine," Sena said. "You wouldn't have a chance with Gi, and she's mine anyway."

"How can she be yours?" Hyuk asked rhetorically. "You've never talked to her."

"Yes, I have," Sena protested. "I said excuse me last week to her, and she smiled at me."

"She must love you then," Hyuk said sarcastically.

"Shutup, I got dibs. Go for one of the others," Sena stated.

"Okay," Hyuk agreed and started scanning the girls, who were working hard at dance practice. "Hmm," he said, as if he was a fine connoisseur who had his pick. He finally decided, "I like the short one in the corner."

"That's mine!" Seok said too loudly.

"Shh," both Sena and Hyuk scolded Seok.

"Ok girls, from the top," Ms Moon ordered with the first clap of her hands. She was old school and made the girls learn timing and rhythm without the aid of music. She clapped her hands in the time they needed to keep.

"I'm listening," she said like it was a threat. Ms Moon would listen to all their feet hitting the wooden floor, and she would know if someone was off beat.

She approached the tall girl.

"Oh Gi," she said sadly, "You were a star last year and now look at you."

Gi was struggling. She had grown almost a foot in two years, and the growth spurt killed her coordination, not to mention rhythm. Her Father was tall, a Chef by trade, and her Mother was tall as well. She had been average until an unforeseen late growth spurt hit when she turned fifteen.

She was now 5'11, and she turned seventeen last week.

"It's like you transformed from a swan into an ugly duckling," Ms Moon said devastatingly.

Gi scowled. The words hurt. But she was strong. Stronger than someone who was merely a teacher at a YG Entertainment feeder Academy.

"Whatever," she said while trying her hardest to keep to the timing. It was a mistake. A major mistake, but Gi couldn't help herself. She was being stomped on, and she wanted to stand up for herself.

"Did you just talk back to me?" Ms Moon seethed.

Gi continued to dance, turning and twisting in the hope that Ms Moon would move on and forget anything happened. She closed her eyes for a second and wished it never happened.

"There is one thing you must learn in this business Gi, and that is respect," Ms Moon snarled.

Gi was aghast, Ms Moons mood was getting worse, and there was nothing she could do.

"I'm sorry Ms Moon, the word just slipped out. I respect you. I do," Gi lied.

Ms Moon could smell the lie. Her eye twitched minutely, "I think a lesson is in order young lady. Sorry. My mistake. Young tramp. A young lady would never speak to an elder that way. Pack your things you are finished for today. Don't go to singing practice. Don't go to acting class. Go straight to the principal's office and see what he wants to do with you."

The too tall Gi stood on her tip toes, he calves perfectly straight and legs and back aligned like pillars in an ancient temple. Her posture was frozen in perfection. She was paralysed in fear and remorse.

"No," she said a single tear leaking from her eye.

"Yes," Ms Moon snarled.

"No," she said in disbelief.

It was at this point in time the most unexpected event occurred, only a meteor striking the school would have been a bigger surprise, despite the fact they would all be dead, but bigger nonetheless.

A boy ran from the back of the studio and grabbed her hand. He then began to pull her towards the door.

She had been in a disciplinary panic only moments ago, and now the most surprising event of her life occurred. She didn't think, she didn't resist her body followed the boy out the door, her brain refusing to instruct it otherwise.

"What…" she cried. She was still in her ballet shoes. Her bag was at the back of the class. She turned only to see another boy had four bags and was running away from the screaming Ms Moon.

"Which one?" He yelled.

Gi was stunned, but she found the wherewithal to point at the bag with her yellow tag. All the bags were the same, but a small adornment helped her find her bag quickly among a mass of Branksome Hall gear.

The boy dropped the other three in the path of Ms Moon who stumbled as another boy ran past her. He called to Gi, "What's the name of the short one?"

"What?" she asked confused as the first boy continued to pull her by the hand.

"Come on, we need to get out of here," he ordered. His voice was authoritative, so she complied.

They pushed out a door and held it shut from the outside.

"Get changed, quick," the first boy said.

"I'm going to be in more trouble," Gi said anxiously.

"No. We kidnapped you. I'll turn myself in if I need to," he stated. "Sena," he said holding out his hand.

"But you'll be in awful trouble," Gi observed.

Sena laughed, and it brought a smile to her face. He was carefree; something she had no personal experience with. "What can they do to me?" he asked incredulously while placing a hand on his c.h.e.s.t.

She peered at his uniform, it wasn't one she recognised. "What school are you from?" Gi asked.

"You wouldn't know it. It's one for ratbags, rogues, and future criminals," he said.

Gi wasn't sure if he was joking but hearing the pounding on the other side of the door she quickly finished changing her shoes and putting on a top over her dance gear.

"I can't hold it," the third boy said.

"It's an old woman…" Sena said disgusted with his friend. "Okay, you three go. I'll stay here and hold the door."

"No Sena," the second boy said. "They'll catch you."

He smiled, "Hyuk, my friend. Weren't you listening? What can they do to me? Take her 'n get her away from this nasty place."

"I have to come back tomorrow you know," Gi stated, laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation.

"I'll take care of that," Sena replied.

She ran with Hyuk and the third boy who seemed like the puppy dog of the bunch. After several twists and turns, they left campus and ran into the shopping district.

"Sena is cool you know," Hyuk said lamely as they slowed to a walk.

"Do you know the name of the short girl? Can you introduce me?" The third boy asked.

"You mean Suzie?" Gi asked in disbelief wondering what was so important about Suzie that this boy had to know her name. And Suzie wasn't short, the girls in dance class where abnormally tall.

"What's your name," she asked him.

He went all red and quiet. He was definitely a puppy dog. "Seok," he said so softly she could barely hear.

"What now?" asked Hyuk looking at Gi.

"What do you mean what now? You are the ones who grabbed my hand and pulled me off campus with my monstrous teacher chasing us." Gi said.

Gi looked from one boy to another. Their faces were blank. They had obviously left the mastermind behind at the school holding the door. And the figurative bag.

Seok raised some courage from unknown depths, "You know. Sena really likes you. If he sorts this out, you should date him."

Gi smiled at Seok, "You really are a good friend aren't you." And she received a confused look for a response.

"Is that a yes?" He asked. "I can be a little slow… you know … with girls. Lack of experience and such." He tried to clarify but was actually rambling.

Gi tilted her head back, looked up at the sky, and imagined how much trouble she was in now. It was sure to be monumental. She let out a nervous laugh and looked down at Seok, "Okay. If Sena somehow miraculously gets me out of trouble for today. I will date him."
