Love Is Sweeter Second Time Around

Yiu Chunxiu was at the front of the gates of the bungalow mansion of Yiu family. A young man in military uniform opened the gates for the young lady of the family.

"Welcome home Miss. Yiu," he greeted and smiled towards Yiu Chunxiu.

Yiu Chunxiu who was nervous, smiled back to the young soldier, "Thank you." She mouthed.

When she entered the mansion, she head a loud noise of breaking of a glass. She was sure that it was her grandfather who broke a glass, although she didn't know what it was, she could guess that it was one of the flower vases that costed hundred thousand of yuans.

She stopped for a while and tried to calm herself down however how could she? Things was really chaotic. She didn't know how to face her family.

As she entered the door, she saw the whole family, except her third elder brother, sitting in the sofa of their living room. The pregnancy tests that she took were in the table and there were broken glasses in the floor.

She talked towards her family and kneeled. "I'm sorry," was all she could say.

She bit her lips trying to stop herself from crying, however her tears seems still dropped from her eyes. It seems like her lacrimal ducts haven't dried up even though she cried a bucket earlier.

Yiu Chunxiu felt guilty. She have brought shame into their family. How could a lady of Yiu family become pregnant?

She wanted to laughed at herself, she was so miserable. She believed at the delusion that she and Gao Yishen were perfect match since they both came from prominent family. However, business family and military family were too different from each other, she didn't know that.

Yiu Hou, her grandfather suddenly rose and walked towards her. He slapped her hard that she fell in the floor.

Her mother, shocked, ran into her to help her get up.

"Father!" Wang Liming was in front of her, trying to protect her from her grandfather.

"I'm sorry grandfather...I'm sorry father.." Yiu Chunxiu chocked into her own tears. "I'm sorry mother.. I'm sorry elder brother.." She continued sobbing.

The red mark of her grandfather was so visible, who knew how long it would take for it to disappear. The pain remained in her cheeks which kept pounding as if it had a heart in there.

She just looked on the floor and didn't raise her head. She couldn't even looked at her family, she was so ashamed of herself. Another reason was she didn't want to see her family's facial expression. She was so sure that they were disgusted and disappointed in her.

"Father, calm down." Her father said in a stern voice and looked at her, "Sit down."

Yiu Hou sneered at her and returned in his chair.

Wang Liming helped her get up and motioned her to sit in the sofa.

"Who's the father?" Yiu Julong asked however the tone of voice was as authoritarian.

Scared, Yiu Chunxiu shook his head tremendously, still looking down she said, "I-I don't know."

She didn't want her family to find out who the father of her child was.

"Father was asking you," a cold and sharp voice said. It was her first elder brother. She glanced at him, like his voice, his eyes were hostile and sharp. There was also a hint of disappointment in his eyes.

"I-I don't really know," Yiu Chunxiu repeated, "I-I was d-drunk at the bar and I woke up in a h-hotel room," she lied.

Of course, she wasn't drunk that time. She still remembered the warm kisses and arms that held her. The pain of losing her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y and the feeling of being one with the man she loved.

Yiu Chunxiu shivered, she felt dark and cold aura coming from the men of Yiu family.

"You were violated by a random guy?" This time it was her second elder brother who spoke. He asked inquisitively to her.

"No!" Yiu Chunxiu protested. The men of the family gave her a confused look. "I mean.. I think we were both drunk that time.."

"You can't abort the child. It's against the principle of the family," Yiu Julong warned. "However, it's a disgrace for the family."

Yiu Chunxiu bit her lips again, "It's not the child's fault. It's my fault.. Please don't blame the child.." She mumbled.

"It's good that you know it," her first elder brother said in a harsh voice.

"Study medicine and stop taking art related degree. I'll find a good man for you to marry when you became a doctor," Yiu Julong said and stood up, ready to leave. "If you don't want to, just packed your things and leave the house," her father left after that.

Soon after her grandfather and even her elder brothers left the living room. Only her mother was remained with her.

"Your father and grandfather was just angry, don't mind him," Wang Liming comforted her daughter. "Later, they'll be happy with your child! Let's see if those men can resist his grandchild."

Yiu Chunxiu smiled at her mother. She appreciated her mother's kind gesture. "It's okay Mom. I have violated the rules of the family. If they didn't get angry, I'll become more scared."

"Hmm.. That's true. But your father was just worried for you. Just understand them," Wang Liming reminded.

"I know mom. Thank you.."

Yiu Chunxiu knew that this time, she can't disobey her father's order. She had already brought so much shame in their family. She should have followed her father from the start.

Two months later, Yiu Chunxiu flew to States while pregnant to study medicine.
