Love Is Sweeter Second Time Around

Yiu Chaun was presenting his proposal to Gao Corporation. Although a lot of the people inside the conference room was middle-aged, the man who sat at the end was a young man in his twenties.

It was known to many that Gao Yishen was a genius businessman. There were rumors about that it was not supposed to be him that would inherit the position nevertheless, he was the one who stood at the top. Everyone knew that he never showed mercy to any people. If he didn't like something he wouldn't be afraid to offend the person. Even if it was someone who was older than him or even his relatives. If someone offended him in anyway, he would be ruthlessly push the person in their limits. He was a dragon among the man[1] in the business industry.

Even knowing all of these, Yiu Chaun couldn't fully concentrate to his presentation. He knew what he was saying but he felt that his head was floating.

He couldn't believed what his eyes saw. He was already familiar with Gao Yishen's face as he always appear in financial magazines. This was the first time he met him personally. He didn't knew that her nephew would be a splitting image of the man in front of him.

He didn't even know how he finished his presentation, answered the questions and sat down in his chair.

'Was Yuntian son of Gao Yishen?'

There was no doubt in that when he saw Gao Yishen's face closely. Every single feature of Yuntian was similar to man.

'How was this possible?' He asked himself. Yiu Chunxiu said that she didn't knew the father of Yuntian since she was drunk when that happened. No matter how he pestered her little sister, her answered didn't changed.

'Was it possible that they accidentally had a one-night stand?' Gao Yishen doesn't seem to be that kind of guy though. From the aura he was emitting and the rumors about him, he had a strong self-control.

"This is just the start of our collaboration, I hope we can continue to work together in the future." Gao Yishen said. His voice was bone-chilling and his face was stoic. His lips curved a little however you can't tell if he was smiling or not.

After the signing of contract, a dinner reception was reserved for the successful collaboration.

As CEO of their own companies, Yiu Chaun and Gao Yishen sat beside each other. Although it was a dinner reception for the collaboration of the two companies, only those inside the conference room earlier were present.

Yiu Chaun watched the employees who were drinking wine as they talked to each other. It seemed fun. The man beside him reminds him of the men of Yiu family. All of them were collected and rarely shows emotions, when they do, it was when they were infuriated.

He sighed internally. Perhaps he should try to probe whether Gao Yishen knew his sister or not, "CEO Gao, are you going to the ball on Friday?" He asked as he swirled the glass of wine in his hands.

"Yes." Gao Yishen replied blandly.

His mouth twitched, if this brat wasn't someone he couldn't offend he would definitely scold him for being disrespectful to his elders.

He nodded, as if he was interested on what he had  said, "Hmm.. I'll be going with my little sister on the ball. I'm hoping you could meet her." He stole a glance at Gao Yishen's face and saw that his eyes flickered.

Gao Yishen finally turned his head to him, "You have a sister?" he asked, as if he was expecting something.

This was what Yiu Chaun was waiting for!

"Yeah." He took a sip in his wine before continuing, "Her name is Yiu Chunxiu. She studied Architecture at C University of Arts before." He laid down his weapons, he wondered how would react on this.

He heard Gao Yishen gulp down. Was he tense?

Although he was showing his normal warm and friendly face, he was enraged at the thought of this man violated her sister. This man destroyed his sister's dreams!

He saw that the man's gripped on the wine glass tightened. The man's muscle contract and his pupil was dilated. He knew that this man must be feeling edgy right now. This was a refreshing sight!

"To attend C University of Arts, she must be talented or genius in architecture," Gao Yishen replied as if there was nothing in him.

Yiu Chaun was reaching his limits, he wanted to stop Gao Yishen's pretentious replies and actions.

"That's true. She was really good at it. Being an architect was her childhood dream. However she didn't finished studying it, instead she studied medicine." He said with a dismal face.

After he finished the sentence, Gao Yishen closed his eyes as he drank the wine. When he opened his eyes, Yiu Chaun saw a glint of melancholy in his eyes. It was as if he lost someone he held near in his heart.

"Really?" Gao Yishen replied dryly. He poured wine in his glass and drank it in one go.

He was surprised with the behavior of the man beside him. He wanted to probe more but he could somehow guess that Yiu Chunxiu wanted to hide Yuntian's existence to this man. If this continued, he might unconsciously revealed everything Yuntian. He must stop himself and just asked her sister at home.
