Law Of Creation

Chapter 67 - Underwater's Ruin (Part 2)

"Yueyue, where is this?" Xiao Wu asked as she came to Mingyue's side.

Earlier, she kept her eyes on Xiao Ming so he wouldn't disappear or run to somewhere. Since Xiao Ming still didn't have his intelligence, there was nothing Mingyue could do.

Thus she asked Xiao Wu and Xiao Jing to spare some time to make sure Xiao Ming didn't disappear.

"Ah, you should ask Xiao Jing. I was the same as you, I went unconscious earlier." Mingyue just threw the hot potato toward Xiao Jing as she still observed the pool in front of her.

[The water was unsuitable for drinking water since it was salty, it was seawater. If this was seawater, then this place should be connected to a sea? But this saltiness was not as salty as the seawater. But no matter what, it should not far from the sea itself.] Mingyue was observing the pool of water while checking any way out of the wide room.

Tasting the salty water from the pool made Mingyue realized the pool might be connected to outside. At least, it would be far from the sea.

But whether it was close to the place before they were teleported or not, she didn't know. No one knew.

Thus she decided to take it easy.

"Nothing big. Suddenly all of us were moved to this place." Xiao Jing gave a short reply as she continued to scratch the pillar.

She was no different from a house cat.

"Why? I didn't feel that someone brought me here?" Xiao Wu was puzzled and Xiao Jing gave Mingyue a 'give us the answer' look.

[Hey, I like how you depend on me, but I don't like the feel of the 'convenient answerer' from you.]

Mingyue rolled her eyes as she explained to the pair. "It should be Spatial Movement, the higher level of Spatial Interference. Like the name, it is disturbing the space of a certain area and the user is able to move the space as he or she like. To make it simple of what happened to us, we were moved, or more exactly we were teleported from that ruins to this place."

Xiao Wu gave an 'I don't understand of what you are talking' expression while Xiao Jing had an 'I don't care about your explanation, so please get to the point' expression. Both of them understood of how to make Mingyue annoyed.

In the end, Mingyue explained a little to them.

"It was one of the Law of Space, as one could move from one place to another place in a flash. It was more familiar if I call them as teleportation."

"And what happened to us is one of the applications of Law of Space, Spatial Movement. Even if I explain all of these to both of you, you wouldn't understand unless you experience it again and again until both of you understand the sensation of teleportation itself." Mingyue made a half-baked explanation as it was not something could be explained toward someone without any prior knowledge about Spatial Interference.

The easiest way to understand Law of Space was experiencing the Spatial Movement or Spatial Interference itself. Since talking about this topic was useless, Mingyue raised up another topic to both Xiao Jing and Xiao Wu.

"Fufufu, since we won't be disturbed by the third party, we should be able to continue your cultivation menu." Mingyue made her decision as a little revenge.

Xiao Wu and Xiao Jing didn't against Mingyue's choice since it had been some time they trained outside.

Since Mingyue and company had shaken off their chasers, or maybe Mingyue should call them a group of assassins, they should have a quality time for themselves.

[Thanks to this bundle of foods from big sis Mei, I should be able to hold on for many days here. Twenty or thirty days should be no problem, but let's pick out the food that could go bad too fast. Those foods must be moved to different place. If I could eat them sparingly, my body wouldn't get any problem.]

[Fortunately, Xiao Jing, Xiao Wu, and Xiao Ming don't need any food, so I can save the most of the food for myself.]

Since Mingyue was too dependent on her two familiars, she would train them as much as possible.

Xiao Wu was capable of Shadow Step and Frost Step, while the latter movement technique was not trained long enough. A few days of continuous Frost Step built Xiao Wu's foundation of Frost Step, but that's all. Frost Step was an exquisite movement technique that needed a high proficiency and precision of Elemental manipulation.

If Xiao Wu was able to execute the last level of Frost Step, Frost Dream, then Mingyue would have no problem if Xiao Jing wanted to kill all of the assassins.

Different from the Frost Step, Frost Dream was capable to manipulate the target's perception, five senses, and even memories. It was a strong technique and I trained to the apex in my previous life.

But even so, Xiao Wu was able to learn the combination technique of Shadow Step and Frost Step. It was not perfected yet, but the shape of the skill could be seen.

Mingyue could see Xiao Wu's mischievous nature when Xiao Wu played the assassins around. Thus, Frost Steps was suitable for Xiao Wu.

No matter what, she would make sure to force Xiao Wu cultivated as much as possible. Not only the Human-tier movement technique but also the Earth-tier movement technique must be cultivated. Mingyue wouldn't accept a 'no' as the answer.

And for Xiao Jing, Mingyue forced Xiao Jing to achieve the Moon God Transformation from the Moon Shattering Immortal Wolf Technique. The reason was simple, decoy.

It was not like she was being cruel, but she would need to create the image of the non-existent killer so she could deceive that assassin's organization. Also, it would be more convenient for Mingyue to create an expert's persona.

But from Mingyue's observation, Xiao Jing was more interested in the Xiao Wu's Number Two since it was compatible with her Shadow Step. Thanks to that, Xiao Jing had some interest in the other seven movement techniques of the Nine World Celestial Step Technique.

Since there was no downside, Mingyue taught Xiao Jing to use Number Two. But Xiao Jing's interest was more inclined toward Number Two rather than the Moon Shattering Immortal Wolf Technique.

"Okay, okay, don't eat more than what you can swallow. Even the Moon Shattering Immortal Wolf Technique was already above your portion, just took it slow." Mingyue couldn't help but rolled her eyes when Xiao Jing focused on creating the Number Two rather than the Moon Shattering Immortal Wolf Technique.

Unlike the last time at Wolf Forest of Xia family's domain, now Mingyue could coach both of them. While Xiao Jing was used to the spartan style training, the training menu scared Xiao Wu to the bone. It needed some time until Mingyue adjusted some of the training menus.

The last problem that was stuck in Mingyue's mind was about the greater spirit.

Based on what the peac.o.c.k's suggestion, the greater spirit should be able to alleviate some of the Elemental-dependence of both Xiao Wu and Xiao Jing of her. Of course, Mingyue likes that she was very close to both of them. But in the case of emergency, Mingyue would like for them to be able to survive even after she fell unconscious.

That event at the Green Mountain had already shown so many problems she had to fix. Even though some problem was solved, there were a lot of problems still untouched.

The only hint Mingyue knew about greater spirit was her big brother, Xia Longyi.

She remembered that Xia Longyi together with her master went to an inhabited volcanic island in the west. The reason was simple, greater spirit. His master wanted Xia Longyi to get into contact with the greater spirit, as it was one of the prerequisites to increasing his capability as a Spirit User.

[Sigh. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to return in less than 5 years.]

[Let's move the greater spirit matter as the emergency solution. There should be some other way, like my third and fourth Spirit Brand.]

Mingyue returned her focus toward the hole in the pool.

Clear Step, together with Shadow Step and Frost Step, was the Human-tier movement technique of the Nine World Celestial Step Technique.

Shadow Step was a movement technique which emphasized on the moving around the blind spot, cover their presence, and also move under the shadow. Undetected and without any trace were the traits of the Shadow Step.

Frost Step was a movement technique which emphasized on deceiving and disturbing the enemy. The basic usage of Frost Step was removing the user's presence. Unlike Shadow Step that mask the user's presence with the surrounding, Frost Step could manipulate the user's presence as the user wish. Whether it was removing presence or leaving a presence, all of it was possible.

Combined with the Shadow Step, the user could create a decoy or even made the enemy fall into the trap. The trait of the Frost Step was creating an illusion to trick the enemy's all five senses. And in the last level of the Frost Step, Frost Dream, the enemy would be trapped in an illusion world and the enemy's all five senses would be cut from the real world.

And the third of the Human-tier movement technique was the Clear Step. This movement technique was very simple since it was useful for the user to move on any landscape. Yup, it was something similar to supplemental movement technique. Moreover, there was only one level for the Clear Step. This movement technique was not as eye-catching as the other two movement techniques, but it was a necessary skill. The only way for the Clear Step to shine was to learn Void Step, one of the Heaven-tier movement techniques. That way, the user could run on the sky and walk unhindered.

Rather than forcing Xiao Wu and Xiao Jing to learn a Heaven-tier movement technique, it was better for them to hone their existing cultivation technique that they learnt.

And fortunately, their training was bountiful. Not only they focused on their inner cultivation and training their movement technique, but Mingyue made them play tag.

Xiao Jing was the hunter and Xiao Wu as the hunted. The rules were simple and there was no reward for the winner, but the loser would have to add another training menu.

Both of them were free to use anything at their disposal as long as it didn't involve Mingyue, Xiao Ming, and the bundle of food.

Mingyue was content after seeing both of them tried hard in the game.

Even though both of them didn't reach the level of sparring partner yet, but this tag game was the substitute of the sparring while each of them honed their own speciality.
