"And, are you a Beast Tamer? And this young?" The peac.o.c.k tried to open another conversation. She couldn't endure any accusation and contempt from Mingyue anymore and she tried to divert the direction of the conversation.

If the peac.o.c.k was looking at the two docile little beasts by Mingyue's side in a glance, she would definitely think that they were only Mingyue's pet. Even she might think that these two beasts were not even a beast yet if based on their appearance.

But thanks to her experience as a high-tier Fierce Beast, the peac.o.c.k could see what most Fierce Beast couldn't see. The condensation of Elemental.

If normal animal and beast had their flesh and blood like a human, then Fierce Beast would be a beast that was capable to access Elemental from spirit. The higher the tier of the Fierce Beast, their body composition would transform slowly. Making it a simple sentence, the higher tier of the Fierce Beast meant their body would grow accustomed to Elemental. Some part of the high-tier Fierce Beast would have some condensed Elemental.

For example, in both of the peac.o.c.k's wings was almost fully condensed by Elemental. Her wings became much stronger and durable than before. Her flight duration would increase at least three times longer. Not only that, the peac.o.c.k could manipulate the Elemental in its wings, whether to enlarge the wings or even make the wings sharper like a razor.

[And in these two little beasts, their body is almost fully composed of Elemental itself. Maybe because their small stature, but it was something I never see before.] The peac.o.c.k was a little surprised.

That was one of the reasons why the peac.o.c.k was interested to have a little chat with Mingyue. To fulfil its curiosity before her time came.

Mingyue was contemplating a little. She didn't want to tell her the truth as she didn't want to reveal her trump card. But on another side, there was no demerit in telling the peac.o.c.k as its end of lifespan was near. No one would come for her until her life ended. There's no one that the peac.o.c.k could talk with, except for them. In the end, Mingyue made her decision. She needed some of her knowledge and wisdom.

"My familiar." Mingyue answered. But before the peac.o.c.k could interject, Mingyue continued her explanation. "I don't know what that Beast Tamer is, but it is the first time I hear about it. Well, if you want to ask why both of them are following me, the answer is simple. They were born from me. They are part of me Part of my soul, and they were born from my soul."

". . . Born? Are you not a human?" The peac.o.c.k was clearly baffled. Not only once, but twice.

"No, I am clearly human inside and outside. Well, my body is weaker than my fellow human thanks to my body unique constitution." Mingyue was sure that she was a human. And in this world, the only race she ever saw was only human, animal, beast, and Fierce Beast. Mingyue never saw any humanoid race or other race.

"Then how did you pregnant with both of them?" The peac.o.c.k was clearly baffled. Not only twice, but thrice!

"Damn! Your father is pregnant!" Mingyue wanted to vomit blood. She wanted to slap the peac.o.c.k, but she had no capability to do it. She glared to show her anger at the peac.o.c.k.

Both of them fell into silence.

". . . Then, can you elaborate?" The peac.o.c.k broke the silence as it felt bad for the misunderstanding. Indeed she never heard about a beast born from human's body. It felt weird no matter what.

". . .Making it simple, they were born from a part of my soul and condensation of Elemental." Mingyue was thinking hard to make her explanation didn't have a loophole like before. If she was known as 'pregnant with a pair of a beast', she would rather hit her head with tofu until dead.

"Condensation of Elemental? Don't tell me because of that, most of their body was filled with Elemental?" The peac.o.c.k exclaimed. It was surprised by what it heard just now.

"What? They couldn't? To what extent?" The peac.o.c.k was puzzled. Even though they might be weak, but every newborn Fierce Beast was capable to some extent to manipulate Elemental around them. There was no exception, as far as the peac.o.c.k knows.

"The only Elemental they could use, all came from me." Mingyue said blandly.

". . . Wait. So what you mean is, you always infused Elemental into their body? Both of them?" The peac.o.c.k's expression became serious.

[If that is the truth, then that means. . . Sigh, this poor child. . .] The mix of hope, hesitation, fear, all kind of expression could be seen from the peac.o.c.k's expression.

"Un. That's right." Mingyue affirmed the peac.o.c.k question.

"And you are in a headache because you feared that you couldn't support both of them later?" The peac.o.c.k realized the meaning behind Mingyue's question.

Mingyue just nodded her head.

[Indeed that was what I was thinking. If something like that Graduation Exam happened again, I don't know what would happen later. At that time, Mom was the one who infused her Elemental into my body, and that saved both Xiao Jing and Xiao Wu's lives. I even needed a lot of recuperate time and a huge number of healers that infused their Elemental into my body. [If both of them could have another source of Elemental that they could use, it would be the best. The toll on my body will be reduced.] Mingyue glanced at the glaring Xiao Jing and the sleeping Xiao Wu.

After thinking for a while, the peac.o.c.k offered a transaction with a sincere expression, "I indeed have a good solution. Well, it is not a definite solution, but the chance is high. Now, it was Mingyue's turn to be baffled.

After contemplating the upside and downside of this transaction that was offered by the peac.o.c.k, Mingyue accepted the peac.o.c.k's offer. "Okay."

"Listen to my request first, and you can decide it later whether you want to accept it or not." The peac.o.c.k's body was moving and one of her gripped claw went closer to Mingyue. The gripped claw was opened slowly, and Mingyue could see what inside the claw. An unconscious little black bird.

Mingyue remembered that this was the thing that was thrown from the upper side of the cliff. Even the peac.o.c.k desperately wanted to save it. But from the look of the unconscious little black bird, it was not in a good condition, Mingyue didn't know whether this little black bird could hold his life or not.

Looking at the puzzled face Mingyue, the peac.o.c.k explained, "This little boy is very unfortunate since his birth. He had a serious deficiency since his birth to this world. The peac.o.c.k smiled from seeing Mingyue's willingness to take care the little bird. It felt a big burden was released from its body. The reason she didn't want to push the little bird to anyone because she wasn't willing to see the little bird was thrown aside. This little bird might become a sign of calamity someday, so it would be better if the peac.o.c.k could stay with the little bird together until the end. And maybe the little bird would accompany her to the afterlife. But the arrival of Mingyue changed her plan.

She wasn't willing that this little bird lineage would be stopped. She wanted him to see the futures and become its future. She wanted him to fly around this big world.

[With so many surprises from the little human, I wanted to make a bet.] With this entrustment, the peac.o.c.k felt a big burden was released from her body. It felt like that her stopped time finally moved after the unconscious little bird was entrusted to someone she believed.

She showed a gentle smile to the little bird for the last time. Both of them were destined to part away, and she didn't want his fate was tied to her.
