From now on I won't slack off in my training. Because this is total bullshit, how could Shen Jin beat me?! Has he also been trying since young? But why? I know people learn self defense but my kind of training isn't just for show.

Me and my sister almost died at Aleksander's hands for f.u.c.k's sake! Training! Training! Training! That brute didn't know anything other than Martial Arts. Is there an underlying story behind Shen Jin? Is that why he's also back?

Someone put a towel over my head. "May you not rest in peace and forever haunt the Mortal world." I heard Shen Jin's alluring voice chant our a curse.

A shiver went down my spine, him as the chosen son of heaven it might just come true! I sprang up and threw the towel away. "Are you cursing me infinite suffering?!"

He looked side ways as if saying 'What are you talking about, I didn't do anything.' He's so infuriating!

"By the way, since I won. What do I get out off this?" He nonchalantly sat down on a chair.

"Bragging rights?"

He looked at me from head to toe which made me insecure for a moment. "What's there to brag in beating a wimp like you?"

Nothing good comes out of this guy's mouth does it? "It was just sparring."

"Which you initiated without my consent, so I as the benevolent person that I am went along with it. I did you favor." He cracked his neck while saying so. How much money will I make if I sell a video of him doing this?

"Fine. What do you want?" I mumbled.

Shen Jin put a hand behind is ear. "What was that."

"What do you want." I said louder.

"That's better. Remember what you said today." I just rolled my eyes on him.

"Whatever, I'm going to take a shower." I then directly went to the bathroom.

As Shen Jin and I were leaving Aleks stopped me. "Bai, let me talk to you for a minute." Aleks said in a cold voice.

I looked at Shen Jin. "You can go home first. This might take long."

Shen Jin narrowed his eyes at me as if suspicious of something. "Sure. See you tomorrow."

"Yeah, whateves." I waved good bye then I went to Aleks' office.

The moment I opened the door I immediately saw the whole team inside. I raised an eyebrow and plopped myself down in one of the available chairs.

"So what's going on?" I asked.

Gonor, one of the trainers here exhaled loudly. "Phantoms."

The Phantoms? Those bastards are here? "Here in the territory?"

Gonor shook his head. "No, but they're in the neighboring district."

So they're close. "Yeti Chen let them reside there?"

"No, they have that Yeti's grandson as hostage." This time Ketch answered me.

I smirked. "How careless. Someone from the inside definitely kidnapped the child. With that Yeti's over protective personality, only his closest family or confidants are able to get close to his grandson."

"That's why they're asking our help. They don't know who kidnapped the traitor is." Aleks said.

I sighed. "You mean by our help you mean me, right?"

Aleks gave me a smirk with that old face of his. "You're a bright child indeed."

"Didn't I say I just want to live freely?" I w.h.i.n.ed.

"That's not what you were saying when you joined the Familia." Damn it, that was just a reckless decision in my youth. I thought being in the Familia was cool since my mom was in one. Now I have my own dreams, and that's to live freely! Which means play video games and read for the rest of my life.

The only reason Aleks took me in at such a young age was because one he knows my Mom, two I was persistent and three because I have a bright mind but sometimes have a few loose screws here and there.

I just sighed again. "Fine, but you take care of school. Not doing all those excuse slips for my to be absents."

Aleks cackled. "That's my boy." Evil old man.

"You know I could very well be an open target for Phantom right?" I reminded them that I'm just an ordinary highschool student.

"That's why you have us to protect you and wearing skin masks to hide our true faces." Gonor said. The skin masks is made by Dawn which she is in charge of the teams disguises. She has gift for making fake prosthetics, masks, and other things that involves disguises.

Why couldn't I have normal rebelling stage? But my weird a.s.s self just had join the f.u.c.k.i.n.g Familia. Why can't I just involve myself in debauchery like normal rebelling teenagers?
