Just A Bit Gay

When we arrived at Yeti Chen's compound we had to undergo a series of security inspection, some of our people were left behind in every inspection so when we finally met with Yeti Chen the one accompanying me was Aleks, Gonor, Ketch and Jace.

"Glad you accepted Aleks." Yeti Chen greeted with his already horse voice from old age which is the age of 60. Even if he was already running low on years he seemed to be still full of vigor unlike majority of old men his age.

"Of course, neighbors should help each other after all." Aleks words translate to 'I help you so help me as well in return in the future'

Yeti Chen smiled. "So who's your boy? I heard he's pretty young." Yeti Chen looked in my direction.

Nothing like Yeti Chen's network to already know I'm young. But I've never operated without my mask on but of course my mask is that of a young man but plainer. The only person that doesn't like wearing masks is Aleks, he said it's to gain trust and make people remember his face so they wouldn't cause trouble for him in the future.

"Xiao Chen this is Chao Ren, he'll be dealing with the moles in your family." I stepped out and went beside Aleks.

Yeti Chen looked at me from head to toe. "You sure he can do it?"

Aleks laughed. "I wouldn't brought him along if he couldn't."

They looked at each other for a long time before Yeti Chen nodded. He then looked at me. "What do you need?"

I looked at each and every person inside the room then my eyes landed at Yeti Chen. "If you don't mind, a list of people that's been in contact with your grandson Xiao Jian for the past three months, people who you personally think has the capability or drive to kidnap him it doesn't matter whether they're enemies or friends, and the details before the kidnapping, the moment and after he was kidnapped. It would also be nice to have your people's liabilities while this whole fiasco was happening." It may seem I'm asking for a lot but I bet he already made his own investigation so in short he already has these information ready. He wouldn't ask for help if he hadn't even tried doing it himself. But the question is, will the information be complete? With Yeti Chen's 'I don't trust anyone but myself' attitude I doubt it.

"The information will be handed to you within an hour. Rock go tell the team to bring the information Sir Chao Ren requires." Yeti Chen ordered.

Who ever betrayed Yeti Chen and delivered his grandson at the hands of the Phantoms must either have a grudge, threatened or the rat has been planted since long ago. I can cross out having a rat planted long ago, that vermin wouldn't survive long enough. Threatened or grudge it is, but there's also one possibility that has low chances of being true.

I'll have to do my own investigation to their backgrounds. That Yeti wouldn't be able to hide anything from meeven if he did conceal some people, but I understand his reasoning if I were Yeti Chen I wouldn't want my closest confidants identities be exposed.

"Here you are." I received the papers from the person called 'Rock'

"You can interrogate my people if you have to but of course in the the condition that I would be notified first." Yeti Chen said.

I gave a faint smile. "Of course."

I flipped through each and every page memorizing their names and faces. Then I stumbled upon a familiar face it's more like the mole on his left eyes was familiar since the rest of his face was covered with a black mask. Kenneth Bentley, he's one of the guards that was in our third inspection before meeting the Yeti. Why is he still doing inspection duty when he's a suspect?

Suspicious indeed. In order for Xiao Jian to be kidnapped there should be an insider in the inspection field so that's more than 4 people since there are 4 inspection grounds they need a person for each but let's make it 6 for the trivialities. Xiao Jian is only 11 years old and was kidnapped inside the compound. It said in the report that 3 - 4 am was the time Xiao Jian was kidnaped. The guards that was stationed that time was apparently knocked out. It was found out at 5 am when it was time to switch guards.

Something seems a little off about this. It also says that they've been on lock down for almost two weeks but found nothing. The suspects all had liabilities and witnesses. I stood up from my seat.

"Can I have look around?" I asked Yeti Chen.

Y'all it's so hard planning a kidnapping, there are so many factors to consider like damn kidnappers that abduct children from powerful families I salute your cleverness. Since our MC is very smart I have to rationalize everything and I just realized how hard it is because I'm really not that smart. You can tell by my crude way of writing. hahhahah ＼(￣▽￣;)／
