Lucius knew that the treant knew that he was on its body but even despite that,  it still kept on moving towards Veronica.

Lucius was Furious that the treant was ignoring him and treating him like air, but what could he do?

It was not like he had a way to deal massive amounts of damage to the treant anyway.

Wait…

A way to deal  a massive amount of damage?

At first, Lucius was about to give up hope, but maybe really he did have something like that.

'What m about the [Ultimate Fire Resistance] talent' thought Lucius

From what he remembered about the talent's description, It's said that I have some affinity for the fire element right?

So Whilst it might not be as amazing as Veronica's, Lucius was hopeful that his fire elements convert his mana to fire elements.

The ability to use the four basic elements in this world, that was, fire, Water, air and earth, wasn't just limited to those with spherical talents, anyone could do it with enough training.

The easiest way for a fighter with a specific affinity to manipulate the elements was to use a special breathing technique that used that particular type of element.

But this didn't mean that all people were equal. Those with stronger talents would often learn faster and have stronger attacks, and the rare elements still required elemental affinity.

The more Lucius thought about it, the more convinced he became.

[Ultimate Fire resistance] was still a fire-type golden-ranked talent.

Everyone with a golden rank talent was a monster that didn't work by common sense and right now Lucius could proudly say he had joined a group of such monsters!

With that, Lucius didn't think any more and began to act

Plunging his sword deep into the treant's back, Lucius began to fill his sword with mana as he began to imagine it.

Fire.

From a small campfire to a raging bonfire.

Even the small flame from the cooking stove.

Lucius began to picture countless scenes of fires from his memory

From the raging forest fires to the tragic scene of burning holdings buildings.  Now all that remained in Lucius's mind was the concept of fire and the destruction that it could cause

If Lucius could open his eyes right now, he would be shocked!

The sword in his hand began to buzz and shake wildly as the layer of man coating the sword began to flicker and flow, almost resembling the movement of a raging flame.

And the transformation didn't stop there

The colour of the mana surrounding his sword began to darken as it transformed from deep blue to the dazzling red of crimson flames!

"Boom!"

The flames pouring inside of the giant treant exploded, causing the monster to wail tragically in pain.

The monster's scream was truly harrowing. It was enough to leave goosebumps crawling up the skin of whoever heard it.

But even with that, Lucius didn't let up, pouring all his mana inside the giant treant and burning it, from the insides

This was the same creature that nearly snuffed out his life and was determined to kill Veronica.

No matter how tragic its screams sounded, Lucius would never show pity.

The Treant dropped to the floor with a loud thud as Lucius got off, watching the giant monster burn to ashes.

Lucius watched the strange sight, still slightly amazed at how easily he had converted his mana into the fire element.

"Am.. am I a genius?"

Said Lucius shamelessly had such an arrogant thought.

Frankly, Lucius wasn't the one who was a genius, it was Veronica.

If ultimate fire resistance had this much affinity, only god could imagine how scary fire caller was

As for the two combined together?

Lucius shivered as he thought up the future scenes of world-ending carnage.

She was truly deserving of the future name Queen of Flames

Just as Lucius had this thought, his body suddenly stumbled

'Fuck!'

As soon as the fight was over, his adrenaline stopped causing Lucius to have to deal with the full consequences of his battered body that he had been putting on hold until now.

Within seconds, Lucius felt his legs weaken as his body started to sway and it wasn't long before he fell over.

But instead of the feeling of his head hitting the floor, Lucius felt something else

'Soft…'

Looking up, saw a beautiful pair of purple eyes looking at him  with worry as he suddenly realised that this soft feeling he must be feeling was this lady's ample chest.

Seeing the perfectly fine lady in front of him, Lucius was stunned

'Who was this, and why was she perfectly fine?'

Lucius could have sworn that he saw Veronica take the treant's attack head-on and get yeeted across the forest, but now she was standing in front of him perfectly fine.

Lucius couldn't help but curse!

'Damn! You were fine the whole time? Bitch! Give me back my grief!'

Lucius was a little embarrassed. He was here panicking, but Veronica was doing so well she may have been able to handle the treants by herself!

But Lucius didn't  even say that and let off a light groan

"Bag… bag .. healing potion ..."

Hearing Lucius's voice and seeing his pale face, Veronica quickly panicked and rushed towards Lucius's bag

.....

Several minutes later Lucius  was standing in a much better state after drinking a recovery potion.

He looked at the horrific sight in front of him and couldn't help but sigh.

The garden had been completely destroyed. It was as if it had been hit by a napalm

The once angelic garden now looked like a scene from hell.

Amongst the endless charred forest was just one place free from all this destruction

It was a small hill in the middle of the forest. On top of the hill was a beautiful apple tree that seemed to let off an enticing fruity scent.

Hanging off the tree, Lucius could see an emerald green apple that glistened with an almost magical light
