Even Mr Stevens had to admit that if he wasn't as experienced in the Sanctuary Sword style the. Landon probably would have found a gap by now.

The students watching the battle were even more impressed.

For them, this was a sight of awe.

Although the two of them intentionally didn't use much mana to avoid creating a messy scene, the fight was still beyond the limits of many of the people here.

'Well then, I guess I should start attacking then.' Thought Mr Stevens

'It's time to show these kids a little ferocity.'

As Mr Steven thought this, his stance changed once again. His sword rushed out like a ferocious animal yet it wasn't crazed or wild. Each swing was refined and calculated, perfectly complimenting the Sanctuary Sword style.

But In the next moment, Mr. Steven was so shocked that his heart nearly stopped beating.

'M-monster!'

As Mr Steven started his attacks on Landon he watched wide eyed as the young man's stance gradually changed.

The attacks that used to send him stumbling backwards were being slightly cushioned and on a few occasions, Landon managed to remain steadfast, deflecting some blows and even managing to get a few counter attacks in.

Of course, Mr. Stevens was still able to easily block these counter attacks but the shock didn't fade

'No way, this….'

He couldn't believe his eyes. Right now, he was seeing the elementary forms of the Sanctuary Sword style.

Without even being taught based on one fight alone, Landon was already capable of copying a bit of the swordsmanship Mr. Stevens showed.

Of course, even if it was copied it was only rudimentary. The sword moves were undeveloped and nowhere near a satisfactory level

But the essence, the main core of the Sanctuary Sword style, had already been understood by Landon.

'…Really. I don't get paid enough for this.' sighed Mr Stevens

'This why I hate dealing with these monsters with [Sword Master] talent, they never let anyone live normally!'

Thinking about the three known monsters with [Sword Master] talent in the empire, even Mr Stevens couldn't help but shiver.

Landon's future was still unknown but Mr Stevens knew that at least in terms of swordsmanship, he would be a monster that could perfectly match them.

"Alright, that's enough."

As Mr Stevens said this he put away his sword.

Causing Landon to be shocked and quickly come out of his focused battle state.

Not only was the battle enough for the students to see the use of the Sanctuary Sword style in actual combat, but Mr. Stevens was also afraid that if he kept on fighting that Landon could very well learn the rest of the Sanctuary Sword Style.

As a teacher, wouldn't that just make him useless?

Although he was slightly exaggerating here, it would be a lie to say that his confidence wasn't hit.

It was moments like this that once again reminded him that all people were created equal.

Monsters with master class talents really had things easier than the rest.

After the spar was over, the fervour of the students had finally reached its peak.

Seeing this, Mr. Stevens just smiled and began to teach in earnest

"The first movement of the Sanctuary Sword Style goes like this…"

…..

Half an hour later the training of Mr. Stevens was already in full swing.

Tens of students could be seen swinging their swords as Mr. Stevens walked around the training hall, pointing out the mistakes of students and guiding them in their practice.

Seeing that the students had made some decent progress, Mr Stevens nodded in satisfaction.

He scanned the group of students before saying.

"Well, since most of you have gotten started with the basics of the sword style, you can now begin with some actual combat experience. You guys should pick a partner and have a spar with them to get used to the sword style.

"Excuse me sir, I have a question ."

At that moment a handsome man with turquoise hair and green eyes raised his hand and walked out of the crowd.

Seeing this familiar face, Lucius was stunned.

'The fuck is that guy doing here?'

The guy in question was none other than Xander Caldwell.

From the description of this guy's talent, Lucius knew that all of them were biassed for him to take the magicians route. It didn't make any sense for him to have elected to take a Swordsmanship course unless…

'Well would get a load of this guy.' Thought Lucius slightly amused

'He actually wants to be a magic swordsman!'

It wasn't impossible to learn a skill without a talent.

Just because you didn't have swordsmanship talent didn't mean you couldn't learn swordsmanship, it just meant that at best your speed of learning would only be average.

The kind of thinking that you should just learn what you are talented in slowly developed in this world because with the ability to see your own talents people became slightly invaded with maximising their effort and potential.

And to be honest, for someone like Xander becoming a magic sword man wasn't actually all that bad an idea.

With his [Storm Caller] talent lightning and wind spells would be as easy as breathing for him.

He didn't have to bother learning any attack spells, only getting more familiar with his talent, so with the resources and teaching of The Sanctuary he would be able to make rapid progress in swordsmanship, even if his talent was only average.

"So what do you want to ask?" Questioned Mr Steven

"Well, before a spar I'd like to request permission to challenge someone to a duel." Asked Xander

"Oh? And who would that be?" Asked Mr Stevens, a little amused

Xander didn't say anything and just turned towards Lucius with a crafty smile on his face.

Faced with that look, Lucius's heart skipped a beat.

'it can't be..'

"Mr Stevens, the one I'd like to challenge to a duel, would be that man over there, Lucius."

'Well, Shit.' Thought Lucius
