After giving the description of the basic rules of Sanctuary, he then went on to talk about the diplomatic relationships.

This included the relationship between Imperial families and various vassal states and kingdoms as well as foreign races like Elves, Barbarians etc but by then Lucius had already started to zone out and wasn't really paying much more attention.

Right now his identity was a countryside peasant, what did the various diplomatic relationships have to do with him?

Fortunately it didn't take long before Claude finished explaining all the rules and regulations

"Whilst the description was quite lengthy, you should have gotten the gist about the core rules inside of the academy." Said Claude

"Since the explanations of the rules are over I won't hold you back here much longer. Due to the fact that this is the first day, the first half of the day won't have any lessons. In that time, you will be given the chance to go to the various facilities and departments and inspect the academy. In addition to this you would also be given a chance to reassign your elected classes. Although you chose some on the day of registration, now is the time to make any changes and confirm that there are no clashes between the time of your classes."

After staying this Claude stood up straight and put a rare faint smile on his face,

"Now that the introductions are all over, I hope that you can all enjoy your stay at Sanctuary."

After saying this, Claude got up and left the remaining students to their own choices.

After Claude left, a burst of chatter instantly broke out amongst the group.

Every one of them was excited to explore Sanctuary and see it in all its glory.

As the chatter broke out Lucius could see Camilla and Alice walking towards him.

"Good morning ladies." Said Lucius with a smile

"Good morning." Replied both of them

By now the trip was already familiar enough with each other so Alice didn't hold back and directly asked.

"So Lucius, what are you planning to do today? If you've got nothing to do you could come with us."

"Oh? What are you planning to do?" Asked Lucius, now curious

"I was planning on going into the magic department. The people in the examination office told me I should go to look around. Camilla also promised me to follow along so I was wondering if you would like to come along as well?"

Hearing this Lucius wasn't surprised.

Alice's magic power and talents were astounding so it wasn't a surprise that the examiners tried to secretly recruit her ahead of time. Even Lucius was secretly recruited so not much needed to be said about Alice.

It was just a pity that Alice would be disappointed this time.

"If you're going to the magic department then I'm afraid I won't be able to accompany you for now." Said Lucius sadly.

"Right now I don't have the energy to be too interested in magic. Instead I was planning to go to the swordsmanship department and take a look at the physical training areas."

As Alice heard this she showed a look of understanding but as Camilla heard this she instantly frowned.

"Lucius, since your going to the swordsmanship department then instead of heading to the magic department I should-"

But before Camilla could continue Lucius cut her off

"There's no need Camilla. I can take care of myself and besides, you already promised Alice that you would accompany her so it wouldn't be good to back on your word."

As Camilla heard this she paused for a while before nodding with a conflicted expression.

Lucius knew what was going through her head. She simply wanted to accompany Lucius as his secretary and guard but Lucius didn't see this as a must.

It wasn't like he was travelling abroad, he wasn't even going out of the academy so his need for protection dropped to a minimum.

As long as his secret identity wasn't discovered, Lucius dared to say that this was one of the safest places on the continent .

Well, at least for now it was .

The protagonist of any story was a star of calamity, Landon was no different

As soon as the Landon Joined Sanctuary, the prestigious record of Sanctuary's protection got dragged through the mud

Secret attack after secret attack, disaster after disaster. The problems the academy faced were equally deadly as they were unexpected but that was all in the future.

For now at least, Sanctuary was still very safe.

So After agreeing to meet each other later in the day, a bubbling Alice and a reluctant Camilla both said goodbye and Lucius headed out

Lucius watched the other students leave and looked around to see if he could meet any other heroines .

If he could find one, He wouldn't mind using an instance inducer but unfortunately they all seemed to have gone their own way.

Since that was the case, Lucius didn't waste anymore time and headed out to see the training facilities.

As Lucius was walking through Sanctuary he took a moment to truly admire the scenery and was a little amazed .

The facilities of Sanctuary were interesting to stay the least.

The classrooms looked sleek and yet still had enough taste of the mediaeval magical fantasy to leave Lucius with enough of a novel feeling.

But Lucius didn't spend long in the classroom area before he came to the training department.

As Lucius walked into the training hall he was rather impressed.

The place was nothing too special in itself. It just looked like an extremely large gymnasium.

It was massive to say the least.

And this was just one of the few training grounds for the first years.

It was clean and well maintained with enough space to facilitate tens of people training at the same time and even space for mock battles. But if you tikka closer lol you could see that this wasn't just any regular old school gym.

The first thing that made this obvious was the countless training weapons lining the walls.
