Looking to the side, Lucius could see the two charming faces of Alice and Camilla, two beauties that could match the high elf in looks, smiling towards him.

Although, even with that, although Camila and Alice could match the high elf blow for blow in terms of looks alone, Lucius had to admit that she had them slightly beat in temperament.

But that was to be expected.

Alice was naïve and had the personality of an ignorant village girl which, whilst still managing to add to her charm in her own way, still lacked the wow factor of a noble High Elf.

As for Camilla, in her mind, her greatest duty was to act as the secretary for the revolutionary forces. She was more comfortable acting as a shadow behind the leader, so wouldn't want to draw too much attention to herself. Her assassin training and cold attitude didn't help her much in that regard either.

Lucius wanted to look around more to get a better look at other existing heroines, but before he could do so, a cold voice quickly caught his attention.

It wasn't just him. The voice seemed to carry an inexplicable sense of authority dragging the attention of all other students towards him.

"First of all, Welcome to Sanctuary's Hero Class."

Hearing this voice, everyone looked up to see a tall daunting brown-haired man with a set of silver-rimmed glasses on his face.

The man didn't seem to be too old , only in his late thirties. If one looked closer they could find out that the man was even quite handsome, it's just that the seemingly permanent stern frown on his face made it Quite difficult to admire his looks.

"I am Claude Hoffman, but you can all call me Mr. Hoffman ."

As soon as Lucius saw this face, he quickly reasoned who it was. He had seen some coach tee fan art and redo his Ned the name so it was easy to put two and two together.

Claude Hoffman. A noble.

He was the second son of a viscount, but that alone wasn't enough to get him to where he was today. In the war against demons 10 years ago he had made countless contributions and distinguished himself but instead of taking the opportunity to be promoted to a noble with land or at least a high ranking official, he decided to reignite and joined the academy as a teacher.

From what he knew about him, he played quite an important role throughout the academy arc.

Despite being a noble he didn't have the arrogance or hubris as many others. In addition to this, he was completely impartial and honest about his decision allowing for the protagonist to fight against the other nobles that targeted him without getting punished.

After giving the most basic pleasantries and introductions, Claude then went on to introduce the rules .

"Many of You applying here would already know this, but inside of Sanctuary the rules are absolute. Those who break them will be met with appropriate punishment whether they are the son of a peasant farmer or the son of a noble duke. All students inside Sanctuary are equal regardless of noble status. Being in the Hero Class may give you some privileges when it comes to training but it doesn't make you above the rules, that must be made clear to you all."

As the students heard this they all nodded.

This was to be expected, looking down on students due to nobility was a thing most people weren't going to do, especially in the Hero Class.

A lot of people here we're golden grade talents. If a mere baron looked down on or humiliated a person with a golden gradetalent, that mere peasant may go on to be a high ranking member of the royal guard. By then even if you had your noble baton status such a person would be able to make you cry tears of blood if they wanted to .

Besides, when sanctuary was established, humanity was in a position of crisis.

Sanctuary was there to train the best talents regardless of background

If Each person was obsessed with noble heritage and fought against and suppressed talented peasants, humanity could have faced extinction!

Although such a time has long since passed the tradition was hard to remove.

But like with any system there were still flaws.

After all, this world was inherently biassed towards the nobility.

The fact that the awakening of the highest grade Heroic Class talents was determined by bloodline meant that the top of the power system in this world was concentrated in the hands of nobles.

With that said even with rules like 'all students were equal' there were still a few that couldn't be offended

Namely, those children of the Heroic noble families with heroic class talents.

If you offended one of those children without a heroic talent, then it was still fine. After all, even in families there were still contradictions and people wouldn't be able to care about some no name descendant without talent.

But those heroic grade talents were different.

They would grow up to reach the power sealing of the world, plus their relatives would already be a big boss.

So when you get out of the Academy

Your Employer was a noble

Your boss was a noble

Even most of your colleagues would be nobles.

With a situation like that, offending a noble with a heroic class talent would really leave you with no way out.

Even if they wouldn't publicly deal with you as to not destroy their reputation and to give face towards Sanctuary, surpassing you secretly would be as easy as raising a hand.

So whilst Sanctuary could make you have the confidence to face most nobles without fear, if you truly let that go to your head believing that none of the nobles could touch you, your future could only be bleak.

After giving the description of the basic rules of sanctuary, he then went on to talk about the diplomatic relationships
