You could only look at a new set of Forests before you start getting bored if not just outright annoyed by them.

Fortunately, he wasn't taking this journey alone and was taking it with Camilla. Even if she was the most sociable and talkative person it was better than being told to be all alone.

After speaking with Camilla a bit more he learned a bit more about her fake identity.

Just like Lucius, she was also recommended by a spy they have amongst the empire nobles but unlike the baron that recommended Lucius, the noble that recommended Camilla was a viscount.

It made Lucius once again admire the reach the revolutionary forces had throughout the Empire.

Of course, these were just a small fraction of the total number of nobles and if they ever came to light would be swiftly put down, it was still an impressive achievement considering the overwhelming advantage the human race and the empire as a whole was in at the moment

As Lucius was thinking this he heard a sound from the carriage driver at the front

"Young Leader, there's a problem."

The driver was an ordinary member of the revolutionary forces. He had been handpicked by Albert for the specific task of driving the carriage so both his loyalty and carriage driving skills were never in doubts

"There's currently a broken carriage stopped at the side of the road and a young lady and her driver seem to be waving to us for help. In addition... she seems to be wearing the same uniform as the Young Leader and Miss Camilla."

As Lucius heard this he frowned slightly.

"Let me take a look first before we decide what to do."

At Lucius's words, the carriage continued to drive forward until they were quite close to the broken down carriage allowing Lucius to poke his head outside to take a look. The second Lucius took a look outside he was stunned speechless.

'She's beautiful' thought Lucius in awe

Lucius looked out to see what he could only describe as an angelic beauty.

She had long blonde hair that fell down to past her shoulders and a set of curious blue eyes that shone like sapphires

Her crystal clear skin was a milky white without even the slightest blemish. Her cherry-red lips parted to reveal a warm smile that could soften the hardest of hearts.

But despite her angelic appearance her body could only be described as devilish! Despite wearing a standard academy uniform, her body was filled with curves and bumps all in the right places that just by looking made a fire ignite in Lucius's body.

Yet even with such an enchanting figure, Lucius's mind found it hard to lust after her as a vague aura surrounded her as if declaring her purity.

Lucius looked towards the beautiful woman with tears nearly falling from her gorgeous blue eyes

"P..please h..help me!"

Facing the main heroine of the story, Lucius was so shocked he didn't know what to do for a while.

A conflicted expression appeared on his face as he seemed to be hesitating before he eventually just sighed.

"Sigh! If you don't mind, you can get in with us. We're also going to join The Sanctuary"

...

Several minutes later,

A luxurious carriage could be seen travelling along the road and inside the carriage, a rather interesting scene was happening.

"Thank you for helping me back there, if it was for the both of you I don't know what I would be doing right now."

"There's no need to think too deeply about it" replied Lucius

"We're both headed to The Sanctuary so we will soon be classmates after all."

Although Lucius was showing a rather calm and refined appearance outside. When he looked at the blonde-haired beauty he was still a little shocked.

This was a heroine, and not just any old one but the main heroine from the story!

She accompanied the MC for most of the story and was a vital addition to the hero's party whose help couldn't be understated.

From what Lucius knew about Alice, she was the daughter of a small noble household far away from the centre of the empire. According to her, the territory was not too different from a small village.

The role this lady would play in the future could not be understated. Even if you ignore her overwhelming talents in healing and support magic, she still had the dormant status as the chosen saint of light that was enough to shake the whole empire in the future and now this heroine was chatting happily with him inside his carriage.

Originally this should be a happy experience, after all, what could be more pleasing than laughing and talking with a pair of beauties? unfortunately, the more the conversation went on the more Lucius grew concerned.

Originally Lucius wasn't supposed to cross paths with Alice at all during his journey to the capital. Even if his journey had been delayed by several weeks because of him taking over Lucius's body, the one who should have met Alice still should have been the main character. That's how the two of them originally got to know each other and hit things off.

'Could this be the butterfly effect... but how?'

Lucius couldn't understand how he messed things up so that such a major scene was completely erased. What truly scared Lucius was that this would be the start of many changes that would leave his future knowledge useless.

Thinking Like this, Lucius couldn't help but take another look at Alice and her status screen that was floating up beside her.
