Going Through The World Of Danmachi With A Summoner System

It's been a few days since I was taken to the hospital and I passed the time by doing some very small quests that SS gave me such as agreeing to take pill for a few system points for each quest completed. But even more surprising I was visited by Hephaestus who apparently is a friend of my father and came to see how I was doing. I answered that I was doing fine and showed her my summoning magic.

She got stars in her eye and asked how long I've had it and answered I wasn't exactly sure. She asked if I would like to be in her familia which I said that I would have to ask my family. She looked a little sad but agreed saying that it would be impolite to take me without my family's permission first. She left after making me promise to ask my parents about joining her. After she left SS gave me a mission…

Okay… I was planning on doing that anyway so I guess it's a win-win for both of us. And at the same time I can fulfill my other mission as well. 'Hey SS what do I need to cure Hephaestus' eye?'

SS: you can either summon a Phoenix, a 3* summon and ask it for it's tears or you can buy a curse breaking potion from the system shop for ten thousand points.

Okay SS use my remaining free summons and guaranteed 3* summons.

SS: Granted. Obtained three slimes, a angel dragon and… a Phoenix!

"Hephaestus wait! Come back here for a minute!" I yell. After a few minutes she comes back and asks me what I want with a annoyed undertone. In response I summon my new Phoenix and ask her if she knows what this is.

She stares and says in a reverent tone "This is a Phoenix, one of the ancient creatures of this world. It is said to be immortal and able to manipulate fire. And heal any wound with it's tears. Wait… are you trying to say you can cure my eye!" She asks shocked.

I nod and ask her to take off her eyepatch. She complies too shocked to refuse. I ask Phera if she would cure her eye. The Phoenix simply flew over to Hephaestus and started crying on her eye. After a few minutes she stops and disappeared while the eye is cured. Hephaestus reaches for a mirror and is shocked when she sees that her eye is healed. She cries and thanks me while giving me a hug. I ask if she would release me. She blushes embarrassed and complies dragging me out of the hospital with her while checking me out and gives a tour of the town.

She takes me to all the famous places in the town such as the guild, the Hostess of Fertility, and her workshop, of course all after putting her eyepatch back on. Once it gets dark out she takes me to my family's home and comes inside with me to tell my father everything that happened.

However as soon as we reach his room he opens the door and waves us in. We comply and he closes the door.

He sat down and started talking "So what happened for you to be so late Relez?"

Hephaestus answered after taking her eyepatch off "You see your son here has managed to cure my eye with one of his summons, I then checked him out of the Hospital and gave him a tour of the town and my workshop. I was also wondering if Relez could join my familia?" She asked.

My father is dumbfounded and simply nods his head and says that she can conduct the ceremony in my room. She thanks him and I lead her to my room and take off my shirt while laying down on my bed. She sits behind me after pricking her finger with a needle and starts drawing the Hephaestus familia crest on my back. After she finishes the ceremony she records my stats and I hear a gasp. I look back at her and see she's shaking.

"H-how are y-you already level 4! This should be impossible! Unless it's because of your magic! Not only that but apparently you suddenly got the blacksmith development ability! This shouldn't be possible even with your summoning magic unless one of them is a blacksmith. Oh well I guess this world has many mysteries. So are you ready to come back with me to my familia's dorms?" She asks and I nod happy that my adventure has finally begun.
