Lu Nanfeng then dragged He Lixue to the office. She was not allowed to go to the IT Security Department; she had to follow him to his office, where she would spend the day.

Lu Nanfeng had already given her an extended leave from work, and although she wanted to visit her colleagues, she did not want to delay Lu Nanfeng with his work.

As such, she followed him towards the top floor. While he was usually rather low key, today was different, as he was holding He Lixue's hand in his, and bringing behind him a whole group of bodyguards. 

The bodyguards were all tall, they were dressed in black suits, and their expression was stoic and slightly cold.

Everyone who saw them wisely kept at a distance, but not many understood what had happened that caused Lu Nanfeng to suddenly hire such an entourage of bodyguards.

While others were unaware, the employees from the IT Security Department all had a feeling that this sudden change had something to do with He Lixue. 

He Lixue had been on a long break, and when she returned, Lu Nanfeng had brought some bodyguards. But as to what could have happened, they had no idea.

After they reached the top floor, the bodyguards all started to patrol the office building. Lu Nanfeng dared not trust anyone since he knew that one of the people who was involved in He Lixue's kidnapping was a receptionist hired by his company.

As they reached the office, Lu Nanfeng found a laptop, some magazines, a mountain of snacks, and some drinks for He Lixue. He sat her down on the couch, while he himself went to the desk and began working on the doc.u.ments that had acc.u.mulated overnight.

Seeing the magazines and the laptop, it was easy for He Lixue to choose between them. She naturally picked the laptop and began to surf the internet. 

While she had been busy thinking about the Organization recently, she also knew that there were others that she could not forget, and she began reading up on what the He family had been up to lately.

He Weiling had been recently involved in the bidding for a new project, and unexpectedly, he had won the tender. 

The project was to develop an old industrial harbor that had sunk into decline and make it into an idyllic scenery with many entertainment venues so that they could improve on tourism from the sea. 

The project was big, and he had invested a sizable amount of all his wealth. 

Looking at it, He Lixue could not help but smile mockingly. If something went wrong with this project, he would have lost the right amount of money and time. 

Since Lu Nanfeng had told her that he would deal with the Organization, she decided to trust him. She did nothing at all, not even searching for their whereabouts or about their current situation. Instead, she put all her focus on the He family, intent on gaining vengeance for the past grievances.

It was not only He Weiling she checked up on, but also He Huiling. She was studying at the Imperial Univerity's drama department. While it was true that she was a socialite now, and amongst the most eligible women in the upper class, she also dreamed of becoming everyone's goddess.

She knew that while the entertainment industry was one big dye tank, she was safe, as she had both a rich background and a rich fiance, so she did not have to follow any unspeakable rules.

Since this was the case, she might as well try her hand at being an actor, and she was eager to be in movies so that the whole nation would recognize her.

He Weiling had invested fifty million yuan in her first production, and this piece of news had made its way around every entertainment newspaper. 

Many were praising He Weiling as an ideal father who wished to do the best for his daughter, but there was also a small voice that tried to reveal how he had come across this wealth, which was now being splurged on his daughter.

He Lixue was suddenly in a tough position. Who should she cause problems for first? He Huiling and her movie, or He Weiling and his new project at the harbor? 

Could she perhaps cause problems for both of them at the same time? 

He Lixue sat on the couch deep in thought as she spent some time reading up on both the harbor project and the movie that the He family had begun preparing for, and she could not help but wonder what the best course of action would be.

Lu Nanfeng had been observing her from time to time. He feared that she was unable to let go of the Organization, but what he saw made him put down his worries.

He knew of the tender, and recognized the project immediately, when he saw what He Lixue was looking at. Instantly, he knew that she was trying to get back at the He family.

Since she was so busy planning her revenge, Lu Nanfeng ordered Assistant Hui to buy some takeaway meals for the two of them so that they could eat in the office.

Many executive members of the Fenghuang Group had come to the office during the time He Lixue was buried in the laptop, and many of them had looked at her curiously, but dared not mention her.

Everyone knew that Lu Nanfeng had found a girlfriend, and that she was from the IT Security Department. They did not need to think much to know that this was the woman in question.
