Forsaken By Love

He Lixue was in a deep sleep as she rested against Lu Nanfeng's c.h.e.s.t. Her slumber was dreamless, and she could focus solely on rejuvenating herself, restoring all the energy that she had lost before. 

Lu Nanfeng originally planned to only let her rest for a few hours so that she could also sleep during night time, but upon closer inspection of her sleeping face, and seeing the gentle smile at the corner of her lips; he could not make himself interrupt her sleep and wake her up.

He Lixue was simply too exhausted, and she slept through the entire day and night, so when she woke up again, it was the morning of the following day. 

The time was five in the morning, and the sun had not yet broken through the horizon, causing the bedroom to be slightly dark.

He Lixue could not see anything in the darkness, all she felt was an arm that was wrapped securely around her waist, and at first, her body stiffened in fear, but then she remembered that she was no longer captive by the Organization.

The man who was currently hugging her was Lu Nanfeng, and she turned to face him, before burying her head in his c.h.e.s.t. 

Lu Nanfeng had been asleep, but when he felt her movements, he woke up, only to find her snuggling up to him and rubbing her face against him, just like a small puppy would do when it wanted attention.

A low chuckle escaped Lu Nanfeng's lips, and he dragged her so close to him that there was no longer a gap between them, but instead of feeling discomfort, He Lixue felt safety and security being so close to Lu Nanfeng, and a smile appeared on her lips. 

Lu Nanfeng looked down at He Lixue and saw her eyes, which were just like a sparkling ocean of stars. They were glistening and shining with so much wit and intelligence that he was lost in them for a moment. 

He saw his own reflection in them and he greatly enjoyed the feeling that he was the only one in her eyes that there was space for no one else than him.

The two of them just lay still, looking at one another, seeing themselves in the other's eyes and feeling complete. 

Everything was forgotten at this moment; the only thing they could see was each other; they completely forgot even about the Organization at this moment in time. 

Lu Nanfeng could not hold back and lowered his head, gently placing his lips on top of He Lixue's. 

He had been waiting for a long time to touch her again, but now that he had the chance, he was not in a hurry. He felt much more tenderness and affection than l.u.s.t at the current point in time. He realized that what he felt for He Lixue was much more than d.e.s.i.r.e; she had already become his better half, and he could not imagine a life without her.

He did not know how long it had taken before he found her, but after meeting her for the first time, at the sanatorium, he had not been able to forget her.

Although it took him a long time to realize that these feelings were love, he now knew that a life without her would be dull and devoid of all happiness. 

Before meeting He Lixue, he had never thought that there was anything wrong with spending all his life focusing on work, doing what he had to do, but after meeting her, color had appeared in his grey world and his boring life. 

He had realized what it meant to truly be happy, and now he was unable to let go of her again. She was like an addiction, a poison that had slowly eroded his senses, unable to extract himself and think clearly.

Now she was back by his side, and he was not going to let her go again. She had been kidnapped under his watch once, and it would never happen again. 

As he touched the softness of He Lixue's lips, he lost himself in the sweetness and the gentleness of her touch, and his hands slowly began touching her body through the clothes.

Feeling how she trembled in his arms, he was hesitant. Was he too impatient? She had just gone through such a terrifying experience, and he did not know precisely what she had gone through, but he truly wanted to feel her and merge with her, wanting to know that she was real, and that she was not just in his imagination.

But upon feeling her body's response, he was excited. She was not fighting back against him. Instead, she was gently s.u.c.k.i.n.g on his lower lip, and her hands were also gently but firmly starting to unbutton his pajamas. 

As her fingers brushed past his skin, shivers ran through his body, and although he was deeply attracted to He Lixue, he was not overwhelmed by the same fiery d.e.s.i.r.e as usual. Instead, he held a lot of love and pampering in his gaze as his hands gently explored her entire body. 

Hearing her soft m.o.a.ns and feeling her comfort, Lu Nanfeng became more and more turned on. So far, they had forgotten everything in their d.e.s.i.r.e and had been wild and uncontrolled, but this time they were gentle and slow; everything was different, but the feeling was multiplied many times over. 

Feeling how he was treating her as if she was the world's finest treasure, tears welled up in He Lixue's eyes, and her body responded honestly to Lu Nanfeng's touch.
