Forsaken By Love

The days went by one after another. Soon a week had passed. Lu Nanfeng and He Lixue would eat together quite often, but not on a daily basis. From time to time, they would go out and eat, other times they would go to Golden River Estate, and He Lixue would cook food.

During the day she was creating the program, and during the evenings, she would often be with Lu Nanfeng or sleeping at home. She slept a lot compared to others, but this was also because of her trying to heal faster.

Lu Nanfeng was often called by his mother and friends, asking many questions about He Lixue, but Lin Xulian had not made an appearance, neither had the He family and Jiang Jinnan.

The week of peace was what He Lixue needed to create the security program, and when it was Friday, she had finally finished it. After checking it a couple of times, she went to Manager Mo's office.

"Enter," he said as he heard someone knock on the door, and when He Lixue pushed open the door, he looked at her with curiosity.

"Have you finished the program?" He asked, and He Lixue nodded her head, after which she handed an external hard drive over to him.

"It's in here, give it some tests, and if it lives up to your expectations, then you can use it as you want. This is my gratitude towards Brother Nanfeng."

Manager Mo was very excited. He had seen her write the program and knew that it was not easy to crack. Now that he was allowed to test it, he instantly fetched Wang Jingshen, and the two of them began examining it right away.

The news of He Lixue having finished the program spread through the entire department in mere minutes and many came to the office to observe it.

When seeing the code she had written, and when trying to find flaws, they all had to admit defeat. This was such an impregnable fortress. They knew that it would be impossible to break it unless someone knew the method used to create it.

Manager Mo was excited when he saw the program, and after running it through various tests and examinations throughout two weeks, he found that it was the perfect program for their company to use.

During these two weeks, He Lixue had been doing the work that she was initially hired to do, she had found faults and mistakes in the programs that the other technicians had made.

The technicians who had created the programs, and He Lixue spent a long time discussing the mistakes and found solutions to them; they also improved the programs tremendously.

Now only three weeks were left before it was time for He Lixue to attend the admission test for Imperial University, and she was starting to feel slightly reluctant. Leaving Fenghuang Group was a sad thing; she had a brilliant relationship with the many people in the company, but her aim had been to earn some money to live off while studying, and to help Lu Nanfeng, and both objectives had been achieved.

That day, Manager Mo took the program to visit Lu Nanfeng. "Enter," Lu Nanfeng called out, and Manager Mo rushed inside.

"He Lixue has created a program for you," Manager Mo said, and Lu Nanfeng raised an eyebrow in interest. He had spent a lot of time together with He Lixue, but she had never mentioned anything about making a program.

"It is the most complete and safe security system I have ever encountered," Manager Mo said proudly. "She made it for you and this company. As long as we have this program, I think it will be impossible to get hacked and have our information stolen."

"She made this for me?" Lu Nanfeng asked happily. To think that He Lixue had done something for him was enough to make him ecstatic.

The two of them had spent a lot of time together, and they were much more familiar with one another now.

Lu Nanfeng had not begun to like her less during these three weeks; in fact, he liked her much more than before. He could never get enough of spending time together with her, so now that he knew that she also thought about him, he was in a brilliant mood.

"We have tested the program for two weeks now; it is completely reliable." Manager Mo was afraid that Lu Nanfeng was unsure of whether or not it was tested, so he quickly explained it.

Nodding his head, Lu Nanfeng felt happy. "Then let us use it," he said. Although it was a massive change to replace the safety system of the Fenghuang Group, it was worth it.

After talking with Manager Mo for a bit more time, Lu Nanfeng sent him away, and then he picked his phone and sent a text to He Lixue.

As soon as he received a reply, a smile spread on his lips. He had just invited himself to He Lixue's home that night for dinner, and she had approved.

After work, He Lixue waited at the entrance to the IT Security Department, and she was patiently waiting for Lu Nanfeng when a beautiful woman exited the elevator.

The woman was very fashionable, her appearance was not one that He Lixue had seen before in Fenghuang Group, and she was wearing a very glamorous outfit, not at all what one would wear to work.

Looking at her, He Lixue was quite confused as to who this person could be. She seemed to be around forty years old, but she was very well maintained.
