They will then create fake soldier fighting scenes to deceive the kobold monarch about the death of his royal knights, thinking it was puny human soldiers who did it.

It was now nighttime, the patrol soldiers were equipped with improved night and thermal vision that allows them to see clearly as if it was daylight. To change the setting, you just need to tweak it a bit on the helmet. The kobolds thought that they were blinder at night, so they decided to act and stealthy sneak into the base through the emergency sewer. 'What the heck? How could those monsters possibly have those technologies?'

The rest of the agents were stunned as well, while some monsters did have capabilities of utilizing technology, it wasn't this far and well-used. This was the first time they had encountered such monsters, they were clever alright. It means that the hidden troopers' position was already exposed.

It wasn't easy to replace an elite GTF soldier, so Hector ordered them to get back to safety. Unfortunately, none of them responded back and the communication system went into disarray.

'They have jammers. How horrible can this get ?'

"David and Samantha, go to the sewers and check their condition. Once you meet up with them, head to the nearest safety zone. No need to relay the message, our opponent this time is very versatile and won't give you the chance to do it."

They put their helmets on and ran inside the sewer entrance. Inside the sewer, there were only several paths available, making it easy for one to move through it. The kobolds were impressed by the human tactics, this was a different level of a soldier.

The sounds of lasers, missiles, and rockets being launched were dominating the scene. It's not overkilled to spend a lot of defense budget to take down these two kobolds. Eliminating these two will bring safety to the outpost after all.

It was relatively hard to chase it, he must now resort using the air combat vehicles, risking the pilot's life. To counter the enemy's battle plan, Ning and Sonoka were tasked with dealing with the kobold that served as a meatshield, while the rest pursued the escaping kobold in a combat space gunship.

"You think you can stop us from escaping? Poor humans, you lack visions."

The kobold used a gravity spell to pull the soldiers near him and then pierced them with his bright red laser sword. Facing a monster, the soldiers started to distance themself further from it from it's effective to attack range, their job was only to provide supporting fire. What the kobold didn't expect was that some equipment suddenly appeared on the two holy warriors.

'Equipment? Holy Warriors shouldn't have those yet. Crap, they're Guardians. I heard that while they are not as strong as a Lord, their battle power is more efficient. Plus, there are two of them, I will have to retreat.'

There was a problem, however, he was shot simultaneously from the back by soldiers of the Judgement Hand who were buffed by the skill [Blessing]. Piercing the soldier's head, the soldier stopped moving and fall down to the ground. The other soldiers were furious and resumed their shots. The kobold simply shrugged it off as he reflected back the shots using the laser sword. However, he noticed something weird, their numbers continue to grow to the size of a platoon. Even if he was a Lord-Class Monster, he was alone and there were simply too many of them to be dealt with.

'So I'm no more than the prey heh? This is an interesting turnout.'

Stormed by the endless holy bullets of the soldiers from all sides, the kobold didn't have many defensive methods to use before he was eventually defeated.

At the same time, Hector, David, and Samantha had managed to defeat the other Royal Kobold Knight after cornering it. The frozen kobold was caught in the fire and tried to make the last attack before it was shot down by David's Bullet Shower.

"You are no human..." said the Kobold as he spits out blood and taking its last breath before passing away.
