Chapter 61 - Azrael part 2

The bronze emissary who was tasked to pick up the little boy came face to face with the little boy.

Seeing the boy who had been giving them so much trouble so suddenly, he too was astonished. The boy was only around five to six years but still could do wonders.

Especially the magic tool that the boy used. He had never seen such a tool before. Just thinking about it, he could not let greed overcome him.

However, the little boy had his eyes closed up at the moment. The man smirked, however, thinking that the boy must be praying to the heavens to find the last straw. He became even more excited as he knew the boss obviously wanted to fully traumatise the boy first.

Under his boss's gaze, he slowly stretched his hand to get a hold of the boy's neck to choke him.

'Boy don't blame me. Blame your luck as you messed with the wrong person without enough strength.'

Just as he was about to grab a hold of Kiel's neck, suddenly the little boy opened his eyes. Catching a glimpse of the deep crimson colour of the eyes staring at him so suddenly, the man became a little startled taking even a step back.

Somehow he felt a sudden chill down his spine out of nowhere, as if it was not a small boy staring at him but something straight out of the unknown.

However, the uncomfort was only for a moment. He was a veteran assassin and in the trade for almost half his life. Recovering from his daze, he became irritated as this was definitely not the reaction he expected. He changed his plans to give the little kid a harsh beating instead.

Angrily he stomped his foot on the little kid planning to enjoy the till unheard screams out of the boy. However, contrary to his expectation, just as his leg was about to touch the boy, he suddenly burst into speed towards him.

The speed seemed so unusual that it was practically impossible to dodge for him. It was unlike the acceleration of someone using their foot to gain momentum where one could even act reflexively.

It was more like he had suddenly pulled the boy towards him. Ya, it was something like that of a strange feeling. His eyes blinked on their own to cope with the sudden speed cause though it seemed a straightforward dash, the speed was on the verge of inconceivable.

When he opened his eyes the next time, there was a pricking sensation on his front neck. And before he could form his next thought he felt the world around him spinning.

Dead! He had died! He was dead before he even realised it.

As his head dropped down on the ground, it still had a dumbfounded expression on its face seeing his own blood splashed on the little boy before losing his consciousness forever. 'How' was what it seemed to be implying as the now grotesque head lay there. But it was too late.

Everything seemed so sudden that even the Lead emissary failed to notice what just happened. For a moment even he felt a chill seeing the bloody grin on a little kid.

Kiel had stood up with his Stinger in the right hand, his eyes filled in a deep crimson glow even unknown to him with blood all over his face. And with his white hair and small structure, he really looked like a devil from some horror film.

[A/N: Stinger is the little dagger his father gifted him]

As he stood there, for a moment he felt all stiffened up. His body was feeling the tingling sensation of a huge amount of gravity field around him, which instead of opposing him seemed to obey his command.

Kiel felt like he could go anywhere he wished with just a simple thought. It was an amazing feeling. He could see a dense red colour everywhere. And even the blood splashed on his face seemed to resonate with his blood, making his insides boil.

An excitement he had never felt was engrossing his very being. Kiel could feel a string of notifications ring across his ears, but he was in no mood to hear them now.

"Success"

He knew what he tried was actually a success. Though he could feel that he would soon lose his consciousness she was not able to handle so much mind usage.

What Kiel actually did was an application of gravity. Rather than influencing the mass of his dagger to his intention like in telekinesis, he influenced the gravity around it and himself to be pulled by the corresponding force to the emissary's neck.

Moved by using the concentrated gravity field all around him took no efforts on his part as he just had to distribute the already large gravity in just a little distance. As being directed, he was pulled with an incredible speed towards the emissary piercing his neck without even him noticing.

This was a plan he had devised after learning about the telekinesis power being gravikinesis. However, he didn't have enough time to try it.

Moreover, it was for this reason that he entered the forest to be dragged in this mess. But maybe it was not so much a drag after seeing the massacre previously.

But it worked even better than expected. The huge gravity field helped in his action even more. Kiel only wanted to distract the lead emissary who was not moving to run away while countering the gravity field. But not only the gravity around him felt so familiar to him, but also he felt like he was in his own home?

This was the first human he had ever killed with his own hands actually even considering his both lives. But for the moment he was not feeling anything nauseous. Instead, he felt a deep natural feeling. A better expression would be Indifference.

Kiel was feeling an over adrenaline rush. But from the moment he pierced his dagger into the assassin and then severed his head, he began to feel an unexplainable urge.

An urge to kill. However, he was not in any berserk mode. Rather he was far from berserkness. What he was actually feeling was a deep tranquillity. His tranquil state upgraded by two or three times also would not have provided the same sensation.

Everything seemed so minute and crystal clear and detailed that Kiel felt like goosebumps crawling all over his skin just from looking.

[Warning: Battle Asura is having unknown effects on Host.

Calculating… error! The host is suggested to upgrade the system for further evaluation.]

"Huh? What's this constant ringing in my ears? System mute yourself and let me enjoy this"

Intrigued by the sudden state he just entered, he wanted to inquire from his system but the constant buzzing made him really annoyed. And just before he could, he felt a heat source travelling around him. Unconsciously he knew that it was a fire spell. However, he didn't feel nervous. More like just a question which he already had an answer too.

Just as the fire was about to reach him, Kiel suddenly pulled himself to the right by influencing the gravity around him and dodged it.

It was such a wonderful feeling. He felt like his skin was not bound to his body and he could feel everything around him. Not see, nor hear but feel… and traverse just by thought without even moving his limbs.

But he obviously had no more time to procrastinate. Kiel first scanned where everyone was standing to get a better grip of the situation.

The lead emissary was standing straight ahead of him. Towards his right, were two hooded minions spread out while one stood on his left who seemed to be the one that directed that fireball towards him. While another stood a little distance away from the others. He also had a hood on him. But was a little distance away closer to the leader unlike the other minions who were closer to him?

However, what was comical enough to see was the round mouth of the lead emissary. He had his mouth opened up as he had just seen a ghost.

"Damn how can the little kid move around in this field. This is not supposed to have happened. And I can't even stop the Magical tool now… The kid never let me catch you now or I will cut you into pieces. And what are you all doing go tear that kid's limbs first." The lead was obviously very annoyed with this year now.

It didn't take much to figure out that even if he ran away now, he would never escape their clutches. So if he could never escape, why not fight them now when he had such a strong tool assisting him unknowingly. Maybe he had a chance to win now when they were not at their best.

And although he didn't have much battle experience with humans, he secretly did fight with many wild animals. And fighting with Anwesa for so long, he knew what he needed.

Seeing the minion on his left running toward him with a sword while the one on the right preparing his spell, Kiel knew he had to make his move.

He has two options either dodge this one and attack the minion at the back closest to the leader, then attack the lead one. Killing the leader would allow him to run away because the others would not have a leader now. 'Kill the leader and its army falls' Classic strategy game policy!

But just as he formed this plan, he felt an uncomfortable sensation, like he instinctively knew that this would definitely go wrong. Kiel often relied on his instincts while he was a scientist, which even saved his life on many occasions. He was not new to this feeling. So he discarded this option at once.

'Plan B then!'

After killing the previous emissary, Kiel figured out that the bodies of the killers were not much different than normal humans, being easily pierced by his dagger. And obviously, he would have to fight for his life now. Instead of defending why not attack first?

'Let's see if the training with a master is really effective against humans or not?'

Holding his Stinger in a backward horizontal grip in his right hand while his left hand related behind his back, Kiel took his rather peculiar stance waiting for the enemy.

Sword Fight! Kiel had a lot of confidence in it. When he fought against his master now, even she could not get through his defences that easily without using her vanishing move. And this one seemed a little amateur to him.

The hooded emissary reached him and swung his sword at him with all his strength. But the trajectory seemed too obvious to Kiel in his current state.

He could dodge it with no effort however, that would create attacking more difficult. So he influenced the gravity around the opponent sword to suddenly increase and be pulled toward the ground, resulting in it being misdirected. It even threw the emissary's balance down.

And as if waiting for this moment, Kiel used the same move he used on the previous emissary, this time on the opponent's head, not even giving him the time to react before finishing him off.

As the emissary fell down on the ground, Kiel's heart blood boiled even more as the crimson colour deepened in his eyes.

The moment he finished his opponent, Kiel could feel his heart throbbing due to the intense excitement. It all felt so unreal and like a game of experimentation. Seeing through the problem, finding the cause, creating opportunities and then finally delivering the result. Kiel felt like being back in his lab for a moment due to all the excitement and the goosebumps.

"System I thought a great name for you AZRAEL!"

A wide evil grin was already plastered on his face as he looked at the lead emissary waiting for his turn.
