Since then, another two days passed.

Wen Ming did not ride his bike anymore, and every day, he would wind in his route to the nursery school for work, and wind back after work.

The third day. He sat in his office seat, with a pair of eyes fixed on the monitor in front of him, with a look of being in deep thought.

And yet, he was in a daze.

These two days, Wen Ming could say it was more peaceful than any time he went through. Nothing happened.

So peaceful it was like an unknown lake hibernating with an Amazonian alligator(black caiman), with a span of tranquility.

At present, the day the school opens got closer day by day. What should he do after this, Wen Ming was unsure.

When Wen Ming was young, he was a very good student, and after growing up, he was a law-abiding citizen. It was the first time he was wrapped in a fight between gangsters.

Furthermore, that day, his face was seen by others.

When Wen Ming got to this point, he uncontrollably bit onto the knuckles of his forefinger lightly.

His mind had an instant where a pair of ghastly wolf eyes flashed by. So very close, suspended right above his face, with the gaze all ice-cold, straightly staring at him. As though in the next second, it was about feed on this flesh.

Wen Ming lowered his head and looked at his own arm. That place was raised with goosebumps on instinct once again.

He used his other hand to rub it, and used a bit of strength.

That person was only a high school student too. No matter how it was said, he was an adult who already graduated, he didn’t necessarily have to be scared of him.

Wen Ming raised his own courage in himself.

On his way off from work, Wen Ming thought to this again.

Because he was taking the long way, he was carrying his own bag passing by the entrance of a messy game centre, and on the porch, there were a few youths either crouching or sitting there smoking.

Just when Wen Ming passed by the front doors, a person looked out from the inside.

That was a curly-tailed lemur.

This type of primate had characteristics of a small head, a low forehead, big ears, with more white in the eyes than black. As Wen Ming walked out a few steps, his eyes subconsciously stared at that person’s face.

Within these few seconds of silence, Wen Ming had more and more of a familiar feeling inside. All of a sudden, his footsteps came to a halt.

That curly-tailed lemur was also looking at him for some reason as well. And pretty much at the same time Wen Ming stopped, he instantly ran away like mad!

Wen Ming froze for a second, “Wait!”

But it was too late, so Wen Ming chased back.

He remembered!

This primate was the person pressed on the ground being beat in that fight that day!

That day Wen Ming was passing by, it was because he saw this person’s gaze of asking to be saved that he then became soft-hearted and stopped.

This small guy’s reaction was perceptive, but thankfully did not run fast. Wen Ming chased for a distance, and steadily, precisely, and relentlessly grabbed this monkey’s collar in a small damp alley.

The yellow-haired young man got so scared his face was like the colour of vegetables, and started yelling out, “Bro! Bro, bro! If you got something to say, say it!”

After a great big chase, he was gasping for breath, with Wen Ming gasping for breath even harder than him. He stopped for a bit, then asked the yellow-hair in his hands after having calmed down, “What are you running for?”

Once they heard his tone did not have a hint of wrath, the yellow-hair slowly lifted their head up, and let out a genuine, “Ah?”

The yellow-hair spoke, “Were you not the one chasing me?”

Wen Ming then understood.

It was likely that this small gangster became accustomed to normally being chased, so when he looked at people, they would seem like they were seeking revenge, and was practised in the skill of running right at once.

Now that the yellow-haired young man stopped and took a careful look, he also felt like Wen Ming looked familiar. He asked Wen Ming, “You’re not looking to beat me?”

Wen Ming was still holding onto his back collar, so he maintained this position of lifting him and spoke of the truth with him.

The yellow-hair froze a bit after listening, “So you’re saying, you’re concerned that they will seek revenge on you and create trouble?”

Right. In two days, school would start, and their nursery school was full of small children.

Wen Ming nodded his head, and asked, “Would they?”

The yellow-hair did not even need to think, and comforted him with a tone of certainty, “Of course.”

Wen Ming thought, yeah, and he went into despair to no end.

The yellow-hair also confessed to him, it looked to be Wen Ming seeming to have stopped a case of malignancy that day, but in truth, he offended two groups of people in one go.

Them people of society were particular on getting revenge, so as for which side’s people would first find Wen Ming and seek revenge, he was unclear.

The yellow-hair even justly patted his chest, “Don’t worry, I owe you a favour first. We’re already like this, if I hear anything these two days, I’ll definitely let you know first.”

Wen Ming asked with a headache, “Is there no way to solve this?”

The yellow-hair couldn’t just watch and do nothing for this person who saved him once. He crouched for a while, and asked Wen Ming if he wanted to join their gang.

Don’t say join, just from watching this twenty-some young man open up with bro and gang, Wen Ming felt uncomfortable inside.

The yellow-hair was a low-level gangster- seeing Wen Ming in difficulty, he could only give Wen Ming a suggestion from the bottom of his heart- in this period of time, lie as low as possible, and hide for a while as much as he could, just what if he could hide away from it?

Wen Ming disappointingly let go of his collar, and said, “Thank you, small one.”

The yellow hair: ?

“Wait, what do mean……” He lifted his head all the way up, and finally saw how tall Wen Ming was.

The young man was confused, and sent a gaze from above, “En?”

The yellow-hair spoke, “Nothing, bro. Safe travels, bro.”

After Wen Ming left and a while had passed, the yellow-hair then came out from the alley as though nothing happened.

His stomach got hungry from the running, and was planning to go somewhere to eat while whistling leisurely. And then after walking and walking, the whistling fearfully twisted and went off tune.

The yellow-hair was at a loss for words. Just what kind of day was it today, for the front to be a wolf and the back a tiger.

Ah, no. To the front was a rabbit and the back was a wolf.

Seeing Jiang Rui and another person walking in the front towards him, he once again wanted to run out of instinct, and yet this time, he clearly understood running was no use.

This brother had a nefarious name outside, this was one reason, but the main thing was that the yellow-hair actually saw Jiang Rui beating people first-hand.

The unlucky bastard with a mouth vomiting blood had his two limbs put to the back, all limp. Jiang Rui who stomped on his back had a slight smile while trying to tie a butterfly knot with those two crippled arms behind the person’s back.

His body always gave people a savage feeling like that of eating animals raw and drinking blood. It was very hard to not make people suspect whether this person finished evolving at all.

And the big brother that should be a bear following Jiang Rui’s side at this time was also very tall, his big physique had a narrow top and wide bottom, and was very masculine.

The yellow-hair briefly transformed into a docile and obedient appearance, and walked without a sound against the wall the entire time.

Right now, he was all alone. He was afraid once Jiang Rui saw him, he would suddenly recall and add new grudges on top of the old.

That silent moment these two fellows passed by his shoulders, the yellow-hair could even smell the bloodiness he imagined in his head.

Fortunately, Jiang Rui did not recognize him even one bit.

His long legs stepped out, expression all indifferent, and walked far away without any care with the person next to them.

Up until the yellow-hair was certain Jiang Rui would not turn back, after the nervousness passed, he let out a breath while shivering from his chest cavity.

Before this breath was fully released, in the next second, he almost got his soul scared out from Wen Ming who suddenly jumped out from the alley.

Surprising, isn’t it, his rabbit general came back again!

The yellow-hair who was originally in poor mental state was almost going to cry thanks to this giant rabbit. Bro!

Wen Ming sent him a gaze to be quiet, and signalled for him to not speak.

Wen Ming originally came back to ask the yellow-hair for directions, as he was not familiar with this street. He didn’t think that once he came back, he would encounter a great big surprise.

For the yellow-hair though, it was a great big scare.

He watched Wen Ming secretly lighten his steps, and stared at that wolf’s back figure, then follow along with a great distance.

This primate leaned on the wall, and clutched his chest in anxiety.

……

Wen Ming did not have any plan at all. He did not plan on doing anything at all.

Perhaps it was because the consecutive days of sounds of wind and cranes[1], he had enough of the days of sitting around waiting to die. He wanted to do something.

Thus, the instant Wen Ming saw that person’s figure, his courage grew, and lifted his legs and followed on an impulse.

Leading to him now to be behind those two figures from a distance. Other than pretending to be an innocent pedestrian, he did not know what he should do.

The back figures to the front continued walking forward without perceiving anything at all, and looked to be only two slightly big and tall normal high-schoolers.

And yet when Wen Ming saw that grey hair, that big and tall, straight figure, even if it was the back of the head, it was able to make him recall the psychological trauma that person left him.

Wen Ming distantly watched that back figure turn into another street, and he stopped in his steps here.

Nothing happened the entire way.

He recognized this place, it was Thirteenth High of ill reputation on this cultural road.

Once Wen Ming knew that they were going back to school, he chose to stop the task this time after following for an entire way. He consoled himself, either way, he knew the person’s school now.

In addition, from the look just now, this wolf could not even recognize the yellow-hair he once beat, and very possibly did not know which rabbit he was.

Wen Ming’s unease was comforted, and stopped trailing.

Seeing those two figures disappear at the intersection, he let out a breath. This time, he really decided to go back.

The two people in front went out some more, when Jiang Rui’s steps gradually stopped.

Big Bear to his side turned back, and asked him “What is it?”

He saw Jiang Rui stroke his nose. Big Bear had the fortune to know, and knew he smelled something, thus, took his gaze and looked towards a fried noodle store with roaring stoves.

This smell was extremely overbearing- once it was meal time, other than the fragrant smell of fried noodles, nothing else could be smelled on half the street.

Big Bear asked, “You hungry?”

Jiang Rui lowered his head thinking of something, and did not reply. His two hands made some gestures, and collected together weakly in the air, like the action of both hands holding a ball.

Big Bear looked at the area approximately the size of a basketball in his hands, and asked guessing, “Oh, want to play ball?”

Jiang Rui, “No.”

He added, “It’s probably this big.”

Big Bear was completely confused, “This big…. of a what?”

Jiang Rui: “This big of a spicy rabbit head.”

It was quite strange, so much so that Big Bear was briefly speechless, what kind of riddle was this person speaking in. He speechlessly asked Jiang Rui, “What, you want to eat it?”

Jiang Rui then lifted his head. He smiled.

For how long Jiang Rui stood there, Big Bear stopped there with him in the pedestrian crosswalk there for how long. In this period, it was not like there weren’t any people passing by, it was just that the pedestrians saw they were big and tall, and their aura did not seemed to be good to bother, so the pedestrians did not want to get close.

Big Bear, “Ah?”

The youth had a straight nose and deep eyes, his skin was dark, and once he smiled, it would reveal two savage canines.

Watching him smile would make people feel a piercingly-cold wind from a broad grassland region in a cold climate right in front their faces.

“Yeah. I do want to eat it.”

[1] the expression refers to being extremely scared that even regular sounds are able to startle them.
