The next day after work, Wen Ming went to the supermarket to buy some things.

The stockpile at home already completely announced its depletion. His home was emptied out by a single Jiang Rui.

The supermarket he went to was close by home- Wen Ming had a feeling this time, there was a lot of things to be moved back, and thus did not choose a place too far either.

—— Guess who he met when he was pushing the cart walking between the aisles.

They only had two meetings, but Wen Ming could still recognize him once he saw his face. Because the two greeted each other when passing by, he even thought this yellow-haired gangster monkey was friendly greeting him.

“Little one.”

Now that it was mentioned, he had heard of Jiang Rui’s name from this monkey, and missed him a bit.

He did not know either if it was species problem or if it was the yellow-haired young man himself- even if they were normally standing by the aisle, he would give a kind of sneaking feeling.

The yellow-haired young man went in a daze for a while before recognizing him, and the chin that originally lifted up from the provocation of “little one” also tucked back.

Once he recognized Wen Ming, he immediately eagerly walked over to greet him, “Aiya Mr. Wen, what a coincidence to meet you here. Have you been good lately?”

Seeing his appearance of being seemingly very close with himself, Wen Ming joyfully shook hands with this small young man.

After making greetings, the yellow-hair evidently did not have the intent of leaving just yet, and naturally chatted a bit while walking around with Wen Ming.

“How did you fare after that, Mr. Wen? Look at me, I didn’t even have the time to contact you.”

Wen Ming answered, “It’s already okay.”

The yellow-hair gave out a deep sigh, “That’s good, that’s good. I was just thinking about you before this, dunno if Mr. Wen has been okay lately. You have to be careful when walking at night now, absolutely don’t provoke Jiang Rui in the future.”

Wen Ming scratched his face with a finger, “Uh……”

The yellow-hair enthusiastically pulled at him and continue chattering, “Now that you mention it, I haven’t seen you at all lately.”

Wen Ming had not yet discovered that the two people already strolled into the wine section some time ago.

The yellow-hair scanned this row of products, and moved his eyes while still chatting, “Mr. Wen, you are a proper person. If you want to hear, I can tell you some recent new about Jiang Rui……”

“News?” Wen Ming did not understand. When he turned his head, he saw this person naturally take up two bottles of wine and placed it in his cart.

“What are you doing?” Wen Ming felt it was strange.

The yellow-hair explained to Wen Ming, “Aiya, I’m just borrowing a place to put it in, just for a bit. After all, we will check out together in a bit. Mr. Wen, do you want to listen to Jiang Rui’s news?”

Wen Ming asked, “What did he do? Fight again?”

The yellow-hair wanted to say something, when suddenly, he seemed like he saw a ghost in the daytime, and his facial colour changed a great lot. If one had to describe it, then it was just like having special effects added, with the face completely whitened in an instant.

The yellow-hair thought inside, ah he’s going to die, what kind of bullshit luck did he have today, why could they meet here in this kind of place too.

In the moment of desperation, he pulled Wen Ming together to face the shelves. He didn’t even go to take the yellow-hair wine, and quickly spat out a string of words to Wen Ming in a quiet voice, “Don’t turn your head, absolutely don’t turn your head, act like nothing is happening, don’t make a noise……”

Seeing him like this, Wen Ming guessed that they met some local big shot of society or some big evil baddie.

He could only follow along ignorantly. Looking to the side again, the yellow-hair was already shutting his eyes tight and drawing a cross on his chest.

Was it that bad? Was this society’s big shot this brutal?

Seeing him so afraid like this, Wen Ming hurriedly pulled Jiang Rui who just came over to his side to face the wall together, and even instructed him in a small voice, “Shh, don’t say anything.”

Jiang Rui: ?

Wen Ming lowered his voice, “Don’t make a fuss, it’s someone you can’t provoke.”

Thus, Jiang Rui also stood there with him.

After a long few minutes passed, the three people were still standing by the shelves facing the wall.

The yellow-hair felt it was strange the more time had passed. He didn’t hear the footsteps that signalled redemption for a long time at the back, and thought, why was the guy so slow today, not going by after such a long time.

He turned his head again, and let out a heart-stopping sound right there and then.

Really. By not immediately fainting over, he felt his own mentality was strong.

Hades himself was facing the wall together with him.

Wen Ming was still asking the white-eyed yellow-hair, “Are we fine now? No need to hide anymore?”

The yellow-hair, with his heart trembling, hands trembling, and the face’s muscles all shaking, “Y-y-you, h-h-he, y-y-you…”

Thus, Wen Ming patted Jiang Rui, “It’s fine now.” Jiang Rui turned around, and placed the light soy sauce in his hands into the cart.

When buying groceries, one obviously needed to bring a manual labourer. Today, Wen Ming dragged Jiang Rui over to help carry things.

The yellow-hair, in between ascending to heaven, faintly thought Jiang Rui came here with the same goal as him, however, he was freeloading for wine, while big bro here was freeloading light soy sauce.

It was like this, the weight of a gaze from Jiang Rui could press him dead.

However, Jiang Rui did not look at him, and swept a gaze over the bottle of wine in their cart.

The yellow-hair sweated.

Jiang Rui held the neck of the bottle in one hand, gripping it in the hand, seeing if the bottle was comfortable to the hand.

The feeling of substitution was very strong, the yellow-hair felt like his head was already being cut off.

He instantly sweated like rain, “Bro! Bro!!!”

Wen Ming who was pushing the cart spoke up, “Jiang Rui, this isn’t ours.”

“Right, right, right.” Yellow-hair already couldn’t say anything else, and he went up shaking, and very carefully took that bottle of wine that was as heavy as a thousand tons from Wen Ming’s hands.

Seeing the yellow-hair like this, Wen Ming softened his attitude as much as he could, “Jiang Rui, let me introduce to you, this is Little One.”

Jiang Rui sneered.

The yellow-hair shook. He squeezed out an expression like he was about to cry and laugh, “Yo-yo-you, you guys….”

It was the epiphany of light before a person died, the yellow-hair had never had such a enlightening moment in his lifetime.

He suddenly spoke out, “Wish you guys a 99[1]!”

Jiang Rui, “En.”

Wen Ming, “En???”

You agreed too easily, there’s something wrong with you two!

“Hey!” He even wanted to clear things up with the yellow-hair, but the yellow-hair whose liver was about to burst from the scare very respectfully bowed while rapidly disappearing from the two’s sights.

On logic, this set of high-level actions made Wen Ming feel it was a bit strange.

Wen Ming slowly put down his own arm, then knitted his eyebrows, and asked Jiang Rui beside him, “You know him?”

Jiang Rui, “No.”

Wen Ming looked at his expression, and from his expression, read out a satisfaction towards those words just now.

The cart was now pushed by the other person. Wen Ming stopped behind Jiang Rui and the cart, and did not move anymore.

Jiang Rui turned back to look at him.

If it was the usual Wen Ming, even if he wanted to clear these kinds of things up, he had no way. But right now, it was different.

Yesterday, he understood some things.

The him before cluelessly ran up against wall all around, guessing if Jiang Rui had mental trauma towards the word “tired”, then in another moment, taking action towards the deeper meaning hidden behind this word.

It wasn’t anything at all, there was nothing.

Those words “I am very tired” in the very end, meant what it did on the surface- the biggest point of this sentence was in its straight method of expression.

After he said it hurt, Wen Ming understood this point.

At this time, Wen Ming looked into Jiang Rui’s eyes, and earnestly said, “He would misunderstand like this, it would make me very troubled.”

Jiang Rui repeated his words, “Troubled?”

Wen Ming composed his inner heart, and said, “Yes, troubled, to mean vexed.”

Jiang Rui seemed to not understand. He walked over, and lifted up Wen Ming’s face with two hands with familiarity to look.

And Wen Ming also tried his best to cooperate with him, and let him see he was not joking.

The method of education Wen Ming used towards Jiang Rui, if not gentle, was with proper communication- even if he was bullied into exploding, he had no way to deal with Jiang Rui.

And yet, this kind of communication was of no effect to Jiang Rui.

Because Jiang Rui was not a fellow that needed to concern himself with others’ feelings at all. He did not have empathy. A person like him, as long as he was comfortable, others around him could then be relieved.

Jiang Rui was also not the best at discerning others’ feelings, however, only Wen Ming.

Only in front of Wen Ming, even if Jiang Rui was not good at it, he would use two hands to lift up his face, and read his expression again and again.

This pretty much became a habitual action of his in front of Wen Ming. Because he wanted to know.

Was he not happy? Was he sad?

It was just that simple.

Right from the beginning, where was there a password to obedience- the password was that Jiang Rui was most concerned about him.

And so, if he was tired, he would be concerned, if he was in pain, he would be concerned, if Wen Ming was troubled that others saw that they were a couple, he would be concerned too.

Before, one of the reasons why Wen Ming could not say those words that Jiang Rui could understand, was because of his occupational nature. There was also the reason of Wen Ming himself.

He always found it hard to confess in front of others and say “I am tired”, “I’m in pain”, “I would be troubled”, these kinds of words.

This, for Wen Ming, was a completely unfamiliar area. All this time, only he thought about others’ feelings. He was not good with this at all.

It was like Old Man Heaven particularly going against him- but only this technique was good towards Jiang Rui.

Wen Ming said it again, “Jiang Rui, the next time, you should explain to the other person, we are not in that kind of relationship.”

Wen Ming knew what he was saying. What he was saying was, he was troubled because of the relationship between the two of them. There was no leeway to make things any more clearer.

Wen Ming would be troubled. Because he did not like himself.

Jiang Rui would not make him troubled.

The time he took to look at Wen Ming this time was a bit long.
