Chains Of Pride

Standing outside was what appeared to be an endless sea of girls who appeared to be fawning over the figure of a person who stood out in front.

There was another set who was even closer to this person, a set of seven to be specific.

Three male Digiums and four female Digiums, this set could be referred to as his inner circle, and they were all high ranking A-Class Digiums as well.

At the forefront of all this was a young man in his early twenties. He had a face that held a feminine sway to it.

If not for the Adam's apple that lay below his neck, one would think him to be a girl who was simply crossdressing.

However, it was this long black-haired girl faced young man that was known as the S-Class Digium, Ab'hig Eediatt.

"Will he come out?" he asked one of his inner circles subordinates. He didn't believe anyone to be on the same realm as himself, his arrogance was as strong as he was girly looking.

They were standing in front of an A-Class 'Creation Facility'. It was a building that could be used to create and put together just about any type of tech that a Digium could use to create and put together cutting edge tech.

There were even rumours that the A-Class and S-Class Creation facilities were created by one of the S-Class Digiums.

One of the female digiums came forward to report with a swift bow, "According to our intel, he should be in there working on an Armis Sir Eediatt, also…"

Seeing that she was hesitating, Eediat raised a brow in annoyance, "Well, what else? Out with it!"

"S-Siyenasta Gero also went in there not too long after!" After blurting this all out, she quickly stepped back as she was aware of Eediatt's and Gero's… relationship.

Her actions were indeed worthy of praise because the minute she said so, Eediat's old wounds began to throb as he reflexively touched his cheek.

This was the section upon which Gero so aptly displayed his refusal to join Eediat's clique of followers.

Beep beep beep… Swish.

The doors to the facility opened up to reveal Kia and to Eediat's chagrin, Gero, who proceeded to flash him a provoking smile.

Kia, on the other hand, took a look around and saw the sea of people in front of the facility.

He took out his Academy Scient1 and looked at the time, before he placed it back in his pocket, "Alright, I don't have a lot of time left so let's make this quick. Now whose puppy did I kick that caused all this to happen?"

"…P-Puppy?" Kia's remark stumped Eediatt from responding properly.

"Oh, you're ignorant of what a puppy is. That's fine, a puppy is the infant-"

"You dare mock Lord Eediatt!? You, an insignificant A-Class Digium!?" One of the henchmen that stood behind him quickly shouted after he saw Kia's blatant disrespect.

Kia's expression was impassive as his attention shifted to the henchman, "Okay first of all, you're an insignificant A-Class Digium, not me and I won't explain why because you're insignificant. Second of all, you realize his name sounds like 'idiot' right? Doesn't that tell you something?"

The minute these words were said, the crowd that was quiet not too long broke into an uproar.

"Who do you think you are!?"

"Sir Eediat is worth more than 100 of you!!"

"You think just because you know Lanzo that you can act anyway you want!? Get over yourself!"

"You're the idiot, you arrogant prick!!"

Everyone was hurling insults at Kia who took it all in stride, not even flinching against the massive crowd.

Gero, on the other hand, was holding his belly as he laughed. Tears was even streaming down his face, truly a friend in the darkest hour.

After a while, they saw that he wasn't arguing back and after a little more venting, they eventually quieted down.

"You all done?" Hearing his question, the crowd was fuming, but they remained quiet. Seeing this, he stared back and got right back down to it.

"What do you want?"

Seeing that they were finally getting down to the reason Eediatt even showed himself, the latter finally regained his composure as he replied, "Don't act like you're unaware. A day ago, one of my men wanted to speak with you regarding the S-Class carrier scenario, and being unable to, he simply looked for people who might have known you, then all of a sudden he disappeared."

He enunciated each word so that everyone behind him could hear him clearly, "I've long heard of your nature but I didn't think it was this vile! Now that I see that you cavorting with this Cloud King Gero it all makes sense! You all think yourself so superior to others and wanting to cover up your underhanded work to become an S-Class Digium you quickly silenced someone who was asking on my behalf! So under the combined might of you two with that Shepherd Hide of yours, you basically drove one of my men Kiserof Hass off!"

"You could long trample others underfoot Red Creep using your A-Class privilege, but not even that Shepherd can help you now. Today is the day you get your reckoning! So hear this you worm! I want you to…"

As he went on and on, Kia's mind began to wander, "So lord idiot lost one of his men that got in contact with someone that knew me? But no one knows me that well except, Gero, Lazno, the Shepherd, Ayuki and… Oh no."

Kia's eyes opened wide in realisation just as Eediatt stated his demands, "You idiot!"

"Who are you calling an idiot!?" Eediatt's face was red with anger.

"Look, I didn't do anything to your people. Now take my advice, change your name, stop blaming people and maybe, just maybe you'll stop pissing me off!"

Saying this, Kia turned around to head back inside with Gero who felt like this was all lackl.u.s.ter.

"Did I say you could go A-Class!? Get your a.s.s back here and answer your superior's question or you'll pay!"

Hearing this, Kia froze as his eyes flared a scarlet glow, "Excuse me?"

"I said get back here, bow your head and answer your superior's question," glad that he finally got a reaction out of him, Eediat repeated himself, slowly and provokingly.

If Kia were to do anything to one of the Academy's pillars then an expulsion would be the least of it, he would even be imprisoned.

"That Gero might have been able to evade it since I didn't handle it well back then, but Red Creep doesn't stand a chance!" This was the thought running through Eediatt's head.

Gero called out since he knew what Eediatt was planning, "Kia…" but he received no response.

Kia took slow steps down the stairs, Gero watched him but said nothing more. He would take action if needed, but he didn't believe Kia to be so weak minded as to be affected by the 'baaa's of the sheep.

Every step brought him closer and closer to this specimen before him. Kia finally arrived before him, face to face, so close they could feel the breaths on each other's face.

Eediat was grinning, he was prepared, he took self defense classes and would be able to defend himself against anything that Kia did. After that, he would have him expelled for daring to touch an S-Class Digium and later imprisoned.

"Well?" Eediatt asked.

"You're an incredible disgrace you know?"

"E-Excuse me?" Eediatt wasn't expecting this. Where was the anger, why was it that he only saw sadness in this man's eyes?

Boom!

Suddenly, an aircraft that broke the sound barrier was rushing over to their immediate location.

"Look! It's an S-Class Carrier!"

"But whose is it!?"

"One of the S-Class Digiums here must be rushing over to help Sir Eediat settle this. With two S-Class, they can bring a motion to dismiss any Digium to the board!"

"HA! That Red Creep deserves it!"

Eediatt, on the other hand, was confused. He knew his relationship with the S-Class better than anyone.

It was abysmal, no way one of them would be coming to help him. Soon, a thought entered his mind, he hissed under his breath in fear, "Crap! If it's that witch I'm done for!"

Kia's eye twitched, he recognised this carrier. It wasn't used that much since the owner preferred to be lowkey.

However, Kia wasn't mistaken, he couldn't be,. The S-Class that was flying inbound belonged to Hokori Haru, his little brother.

1 - The Scient is the new name for Academy transmitter, transmitter just doesn't mean what I want this device to do. Which is kind of like an all purpose tablet in the shape of the Academy crest. (If there are any terms that are still off to you guys, let me know in the comment section.)
