CEO Husband Please Be Refrained

The principal went up the stage and conveyed the congratulatory message, “Thank you for attending A University’s fiftieth-anniversary celebration. Today, we’ve invited a lot of famous individuals who graduated from the school and also some performers to perform on the shows. Up next, please welcome our guest of honor, President Mo from Mo Corp to come up and give a speech.”

A wave of thunderclaps was heard from below the stage. Xia Weilan lifted her head and stared blankly at Mo Beichen who suddenly appeared on stage. Her heart was beating so fast that she couldn’t hear anything. All that was in her eyes was Mo Beichen and she wasn’t even aware that someone was sitting beside her. 

Mo Beichen looked around and landed his gaze on Xia Weilan. He was talking about something but he slowed down his speech.

“Weilan, this is for you.” Lee Ming passed a bottle of mineral water shyly. He called Xia Weilan a few times but didn’t get any response. So, he called even louder.

Xia Weilan finally heard him and saw something in front of her. She subconsciously took it and lifted her eyes to find Lee Ming was staring at her excitedly.

“You’re here.” Xia Weilan’s mind went blank for a few seconds before saying. She then returned her gaze to the stage.

“And that’s all!” Mo Beichen ended his speech coldly and strode down the stage. He headed straight to where Xia Weilan was seated. 

Le Ming was still blushing. Just as he was about to say something, he was surprised to find Mo Beichen walking toward him.

“Excuse me!” Mo Beichen stood there elegantly and walked past Lee Ming. He took Xia Weilan’s hands and led her out of the auditorium, leaving Lee Ming who was stunned.

The performers started performing on the stage. Only a few people sitting on the last row noticed what happened. With the blink of an eye, Xia Weilan was led outside of the auditorium.

“You’re here!” Xia Weilan stared at Mo Beichen with excitement.

Thinking that since Mo Beichen was here, he certainly saw the giant screen in front of the school gate.

Mo Beichen squinted and locked his hands around her waist and pressed her back against the wall. He said in a cold and stiff voice, “Do you still remember what I’ve told you before?”
Xia Weilan opened her eyes wide, unable to react.

Mo Beichen said without waiting for her reply, “I told you not to flirt around outside! Have you forgotten about it?”

“You’re referring to…” Xia Weilan figured out what it was about and immediately offered an explanation. “I didn’t, that was my classmate just now.”

“Classmate?” Mo Beichen clenched his teeth as he said that word with mockery. The guy was blushing just now and you’re telling me that he’s just a classmate? His eyes weren’t blind yet.

At this moment, Xia Weilan’s phone rang. Mo Beichen took a glance and his expression grew darker when he saw that it was from her senior. 

Xia Weilan panicked as she knew that Mo Beichen must have misunderstood. She quickly said, “It, true, he’s just…”

“Put on the loudspeaker!” Mo Beichen’s deep eyes fixed their stare at her and he tightened his grip around her waist.

Xia Weilan was able to turn on hands-free mode but the call suddenly ended. It put her into an awkward situation and she suddenly felt like she couldn’t clear herself from the suspicious and quickly called back.

“Hello? Weilan? Are you alright?” Lee Ming’s tense voice was heard over the phone.

“I’m okay. I’m with my boyfriend now.” Xia Weilan quickly said.

“Boyfriend? Is it President Mo?” Lee Ming sounded confused.

“Yeah.”  Xia Weilan stared at Mo Beichen while replying.

She let out a sigh of relief when saw Mo Beichen starting to feel relaxed.

“Oh, I see.” Lee Ming’s voice was a little dry. “Then I’m at ease. I still have something to attend to. Talk to you later.”

The sound of the phone’s engaged tone was heard shortly. He didn’t even wait for Xia Weilan’s reply and quickly hung up the phone. 

Xia Weilan put away her phone and stared at Mo Beichen innociently. She cautiously said, “Hubby…”

Mo Beichen lifted his eyebrows and was obviously very satisfied. But he still spoke in a deep tone, “Next time, you need to pay more attention. Remember to keep your distance with men and remember your status.”

“Of course I will.” Xia Weilan nodded and asked, “Hubby, are you jealous?”

A look of unease flashed across Mo Beichen’s face and let out a few soft coughs and withdrew himself from her. 

But he didn’t expect that Xia Weilan suddenly followed what he did previously and locked her arms around his neck and giggled.

Mo Beichen felt his body went stiff. He looked at the little girl who was dangling onto him happily. A gleam of light flashed across his eyes and he pressed her back on the wall again and planted a kiss on her lips.

The music from the dance performance could be heard from the stage. However, at this deserted corner, the two people were leaning against each other very closely.

They were so getting so close that they were caressing each other’s lips and tongues. Xia Weilan’s eyes gradually became dazzled. She could hardly bear Mo Beichen’s rare passion. 

Mo Beichen trapped her lips, invading and seized her mouth with his tongue as though he wanted to devour her completely. 

“Urgh~” Xia Weilan took in a deep breath and gently took a step back. But he immediately pulled her over and deepened his kiss.

Mo Beichen only released her when he noticed that she was really out of breath. 

His deep eyes were like the night ocean casting its gaze on her beautiful face. He let out a delightful smile.

 The freezing breeze blew across them, lifting the corner of his shirt and her hair swayed with the breeze. The surrounding suddenly became terribly quiet.

Perhaps it was the psychological effect, perhaps the scenery of the night was charming or perhaps it was because the two of them were already attracted to each other, they felt that the situation now was particularly alluring. 

Xia Weilan finally calmed down and took a glance at Mo Beichen shyly. She suddenly pushed him away gently. “Someone might see us.”

Mo Beichen grabbed her hand and stared at her ambiguously. “Even if they saw us, what’s the big deal about it?”

Xia Weilan stared at Mo Beichen in astonishment. He wasn’t afraid to let others know about their relationship?

Mo Beichen noticed that the little girl was shocked. He suddenly reached out his finger and ran it down her nose bridge. 

“You must be hungry already. Let’s go for dinner.”

He held her hand and made their way through the forest path to the school gate.

The security guard was a little sleepy. But he was shocked by Mo Beichen and Xia Weilan’s sudden appearance. By the time he reacted, the both of them were already inside the black car parked beside the road and drove off.

The security guard rubbed his eyes and took a glance at the giant screen. The person who just walked out was Xia Weilan. He recognized the other person too, he was the famous entrepreneur in Beijing – Mo Beichen.

If his eyes hadn’t played any tricks on him, the both of them were holding hands just now.

At this moment, the security guard quickly jumped up as he just made a big discovery and he couldn’t wait to share this with his colleagues on WeChat.
