“I should be the one saying that statement. You shouldn’t be wishing for things that aint yours.” Xia Weilan also glanced at Xia Roulin, not showing any weakness.

Xia Weilan walked toward the lift when she finished her words. In fact, she really doesn’t want to see Xia Roulin. Every time she saw her, it would dampen her mood.

“In the office, I’m still your superior! I’m now the deputy director for the project department!” Xia Roulin said proudly. 

At this moment, the lift door opened and Xa Weilan left her with an aloof rear view.

“Act as much as you can. Sooner or later, I’ll kick you out from the company!” Xia Roulin’s vicious and unhappy voice was heard from behind her.

When she reached her office, the whole designing department were talking about Xia Roulin being unaccustomed and was transferred back to the headquarter. 

Xia Weilan listened to them emotionlessly. The doubts in her heart were finally solved. Without second thoughts, this must have been another one of Xia Roulin’s acts and her motive was to come back to guard over Xia’s Family headquarter. 

Just as Xia Weilan was in deep thoughts, her phone suddenly rang. It was from an unknown caller. Xia Weilan hesitated before answering.

“Is this Xia Weilan?” The kind voice of the principal was heard over the phone.

“Principal?” Xia Weilan recognized his voice immediately and said in a respectful manner, “Principal, is there anything that you needed help with?”

“Ah, yes. It’s the school’s 50th Anniversary in another few days. I’ll like to nominate you to participate in filming the school’s promotional video.” The principal said in a natural and kind manner.

 “Why would the school select me for the promotional video?” Xia Weilan asked in surprise.

“Yes, among the new intake, you are the one with the most outstanding result. Moreover, you’ve also won a big award. So it’s right and proper for you to participate in the video.” The principal quickly explained.

“Okay. But I’m now doing my internship and will only be available during the weekends.”

After she hung up the phone, Xia Weilan realized that everyone who was busy gossiping just now had become quiet. They all stared at her direction, obviously listening to her talking on the phone. 

“Weilan, are you participating in an advert?”Gao Lele asked on behalf of everyone out of curiosity.

At the moment, Ruili walked in and asked, “What are you talking about?”

Weekend, at A University which was supposed to be empty, a group of shooting crew came in. 

As soon as Xia Weilan appeared, she was already being greeted by a girl waiting in front of the school gate. “You must be Xia Weilan, right? The teacher asked me to wait for you here.”

Once the girl finished speaking, she grabbed Xia Weilan’s hand and led her toward the field. There were already a few people standing there.

“Miss Xia, this is your partner. I’ll be filming some scenes around the school.
