The black Maybach sped across the street like a phantom. It was like a raging whirlwind that passed by, bringing a gust of wind and disappeared quickly without a trace.  

Inside the car, Mo Beichen’s facial outline was handsome as ever. In fact, the moment Xia Weilan saw Mo Beichen, she was already not that mad. But a man shouldn’t connive, especially when it comes to womanizing.

Xia Weilan did not like Mo Beichen hanging out frequently at those bars. Moreover, Mo Beichen did not bring her along too.

Mo Beichen pulled away from her and stared at her obedient look with satisfaction. 

He reached out his hand to mess up her hair, “Since you have nothing to say, let’s go for dinner.”

The moment Mo Beichen finished his words, he stepped on the accelerator once again and drove off without waiting for her to refute.

By the time Xia Weilan came back to her senses, her lips were already moist and she was in a very good mood.

“Hubby…” Xia Weilan suddenly called him.

Mo Beichen lifted the corner of his lips when he heard what Xia Weilan had addressed him as.

“Yeah?”

“Don’t visit the bar so often with Nan Fengyan in the future. If he invited you to go there again, you can take him home instead. Just tell him that I’ll entertain him well.” Xia Weilan said in a sweet voice but a bright light flashed across her eyes.

“Okay.” Mo Beichen replied dully.

Soon, they reached the restaurant.

“President Mo, this way please.” The manager greeted them personally.

“We’ve imported some crabs today. They were airflown and were very fresh. Would you like to have some, President Mo?” The manager said with a smile.

“Ask her.” Mo Beichen commanded in a deep voice.

“Yes. Miss, would you like to have some?” The manager shifted his gaze and immediately asked Xia Weilan with respect.

“Let’s have two crabs.” Xia Weilan rubbed her tummy and licked her lips.

After that, they took a seat and Xia Weilan ordered a few more dishes. 

While waiting for the food, Mo Beichen suddenly asked with a serious expression, “Are you having fun outside?”

Xia Weilan heard him and stared at his pair of dark eyes. She didn’t reply.

“It seems that you were having so much fun that you had forgotten your home and duty.” Mo Beichen said again.

In an instant, there was a gush of cold air blowing across the room. 

Xia Weilan blinked and let out two coughs, “I…” 

“If I didn’t come looking for you, are you planning not to go home?” Mo Beichen’s eyes became darker. A trace of darkness flashed across his eyes and there was a hint of restlessness in his eyes.

“Hubby…” For a moment, Xia Weilan was speechless. She could only call out to him softly.

At this moment, two giant crabs were delivered to the table. 

Xia Weilan opened her eyes wide and she was a bit shocked. “This…this is huge.”

At the same time, she tried to change the subject.

“Why? Did you regret it?” Mo Beichen leaned against the back of the chair. 

His tone was indifferent. 

“Once you’ve shot the arrow, there’s no getting it back. The same applies to you. Once you’re married, you have to perform your duty as a wife.” 

“This statement applies to you too.” Xia Weilan widened her eyes and said angrily.

“Okay.” Mo Beichen squeezed the word from his throat. He suddenly stood up and said, “I’m going to the washroom.”

By the time Mo Beichen came back from the washroom, he noticed a plate of crab meat was already placed on his table. Xia Weilan was cleaning her oily hands with a paper towel and she smiled at him.

Mo Beichen sat down. He hesitated for a moment before picking up a piece of crab meat and placed it into his mouth. 

Xia Weilan smiled and she said as if she was anticipating some compliment, “How is it?” 

“Not bad.” Mo Beichen gazed at her deeply and smiled while nodding.

At this moment, two waiters walked in and they were shocked the moment they saw the situation inside the private room. 

One of the waiters walked in front of Xia Weilan and said, “Miss, I’m here to help you de-shell the crab.” 

As soon as the waiter finished speaking, he took out a set of multi-functional tools and started to de-shell the crab. In just a while, a serving of delicate crab meat was placed in front of Xia Weilan. 

Xia Weilan was stunned. She stared embarrassingly at the crumpled crab meat that she had de-shelled for Mo Beichen and looked at the crab meat in front of her that was nicely de-shell like a piece of art.

Mo Beichen lowered his head and took another bite. The corner of his lips formed a faint curve.

“Hubby, you can have this. This looks more delicious.” Xia Weilan felt a little embarrassed and wanted to swap her food with him. 

However, Mo Beichen blocked her extended hand.

“Mine is not bad.”

He knocked Xia Weilan’s hand with a chopstick and she immediately retrieved her hand. She didn’t insist on swapping food with Mo Beichen and picked up her own chopstick. 

After they finished eating, Mo Beichen led Xia Weilan out of the restaurant. A lady who just walked in was talking on the phone as she walked toward Xia Weilan.

“Be careful.” Seeing that Xia Weilan didn’t notice the lady walking toward her, Mo Beichen quickly pulled her into his arms.

Xia Weilan was busy looking at the night sky and the sky suddenly spun around. The next thing she knew, she was being held inside a man’s embrace. She buried her face in his chest and his powerful palm was on her waist.

At this instant, it was as if the world came to a standstill and all that was heard was the sound of their heartbeats.

Mo Beichen lowered his head and gazed at the woman in his arms. He leaned toward her red lips and gave her a kiss. That kiss was like a jolt of current and the both of them experienced something that they never experienced before. It was like a poppy that could make one fall into ecstasy, losing all control. 

 Xia Weilan felt her heart skip a beat as if it was going to stop beating. And at this instant, Mo Beichen intruded her mouth, caressing her little tongue with his, deepening his kiss. There was a powerful attraction of his tongue and lips, trapping hers, merging his scent with hers.

“Urgh…” Xia Weilan lifted her head, intoxicated by the sensation. She almost fell on the ground from feeling weak over her body.

After some time, Mo Beichen pulled away from her. Xia Welan’s misty eyes finally recovered slowly. She noticed that he was smiling and there was a cheeky and profound expression on his face.

“Is Mrs Mo coming home with me?” Mo Beichen was still holding on to her hands.

Xia Weilan couldn’t reject him at all. They had already kissed in such a passionate manner, could she pretend that nothing had happened?

“Yeah.” Xia Weilan blinked and looked around at the onlookers. She quickly dragged Mo Beichen toward the car. Seeing how she anxiously held his hand, Mo Beichen followed behind her with affection flashing across his eyes.
