Avalon Reincarnated

Chapter 5 - Wendy

The Inqisitor, jumped and said "he is truly gifted look all the mana that had coated his skin is gone even his Mana viens that had burst[crack on his hand] . I think he refined most of the Elixer if not all the Elixer."

"Doctor, my wife didn't tell me you had such an eye for talent I can see why you took an interest in the boy. I think with proper guidance he could have a bright future."

The Inqisitor moved closer in an attempt to confirm his expectation. Kwanda sat up and looked back at the doctor and said "it work it actually worked I feel so much better."

He jumped down off the bed. He stood up on his own two feet for the time in a long time. He was so happy he ran into the arms of the doctor.

The doctor quickly stepped aside, causing him to collide with the cabinet. The doctor did this not because he did want to give the boy a hug but in his mind Kwanda was still the broken boy who came into his operation room.

Kwanda held his nose, as his face had greeted the cabinet. "Ouch!"

The doctor waved a healing hand. "You have to be more careful you still in recovery if you get hurt during this period only high level magic can heal you if at all".

"Okay doctor give me a moment with your boy here."

[passes him a crystal that starts to glow white].

"Good you have a great talent for magic. I will sponsor your education,"

The doctor interjected as said "we will both!"

[as he still had to convince his wife].

"Ah right sorry I'm used to doing these things alone. The crystal I just gave indicates that you have a chance to get an element into your body, which in your current state means that you could probably learn four elements which is great. It is also an energy core if you place it inside your ring you should be able to open it as long as it belongs to you."

"Thank you Inqisitor" suddenly information flooded into Kwandas' head from, ring it list all the items inside and basic how to guide. Many books were listed, various weapons, Armours, potions and most importantly to Kwanda drac.

"Inqisitor in my ring I should have enough money to buy my own place I don't need to live at the orphanage anymore thanks to you..."

Loud laughter was heard from both "a seven year old living on his own. Thats not possible kid."[Michael]

Kwanda had momentarily forgot he was seven years old, being a returner is not always convenient. "Fine, if I can't do that then doctor can I rent a room from you."

"I would have to discuss it with my wife but there should not be a problem. Unless the Inqisitor has something to say about it."

"No we will probably won't have business anytime soon in the meantime you should get registered as soon as possible, Talent like yours should not be wasted [ gives his personal pin that was clipped to his jacket] use this as a recommendation at whatever school you go to you should be treated well."

As the Inqisitor left, Kwanda thanked him again and got to talking with the doctor about his possible future. They left the hospital talking about the various things he would now be able to. "Let's go to the house we can get everything sorted once we are there."

[A shadow was lurking following them]

Muffled sounds could be heard coming from the master bedroom up stairs. Kwanda concerned himself with sorting the items in the ring in a way that made sense to him.

The thoughts passed to him also informed that the ring would grow as he does.

"Kwanda good news, this is Wendy my wife."

She greeted him with a graceful smile, her smooth copper skin highlighted the contrast of her dark brown eyes, all topped by a black hair with streaks of gold. She had the Aura of a warrior which directly conflicts with how she looks. The gold markings on her face denoted her clan.

"Kwanda you poor boy come give your auntie a hug. You alright now, you can stay here forever you never need to leave."

Wendy's sudden change in attitude was caused by the fact that her husband had never been clear about Kwanda and how he his only a little boy. From the conversation her husband described having with Kwanda, she was sure he was much old man.

"Thank you, Wendy" [she squeezed him harder] "I mean Auntie."

"Good now that we know you will be staying with us, you guys need to go to the magistrate to register his identity so he can go to school."

She was fully enjoying have a young child again all her children were at that age.

They all went many places for the rest of day at night they discuss schools.

Wendy said "she had go buy things that a women should have and would Meet them at the Book store run by Ruboot, a golem from ancient times."

When they arrived, Wendy was waiting for them already, she was putting away her blade then, waved to the boys. Wendy said "let's get you set so you can catch up to the other kids."

Inside the store Ruboot was, a stoic and unshifting. Wendy asked him "what does he recommend they teach Kwanda."

The room shakes as Ruboot moves his head to observe Kwanda. "I would recommend you take The Witch hunters guide to survival. It has the widest array of basic spells, potions recipes etc it should prove quite useful for you."

As Kwanda was about to pay, she[Wendy] said "its my treat isn't that right Ruboot."

Ruboot responded respectfully "as you wish madam."

"Thank you! Auntie, really thank you."

"Let's go to the Southern district close to the house, the school there may not be number one but some old gaints are their and it's the oldest school ever in town, in fact it also has the number of high ranking alumni."[Wendy]

"Okay Auntie let's go, the school I was going to choose is quite far from the house so this might be for the better."[kwanda]

"Yes but I did not tell the best part they are also a combat school. It's the reason why there alumni are so powerful, they start teaching combat basic from the beginning not like the others that only teach from 10 and up. So you can defend yourself the world is a really dangerous place. I will teach you who to trust."[Wendy]

"Now time to get clothes," The lads had made an error their feet would not forget anytime soon. That night he slept in the room were he would die In.

A crowd was gathered around the body of man, his body decapitated almost unrecognizable that night the police[soldiers]

would patrol to restore confidence in public safety.

That night Kwanda promised to kill the weakness that killed him in his first life and made him complacent in this life allowing his family to die once again be taken away. Today he would born anew on the path to becoming the world's strongest
