An Inevitable Fate?

Chapter 26 - 26: I love her (1)

Darren went inside the room to get changed. As he had a vigorous workout with the woman he had come with, he had just taken a shower and was preparing to sleep. But now, he had to go to pick Rachel. Well, he wasn't complaining. He could get lucky if he could lay his hands on his so-called fiance who hadn't even kissed him. Thinking this, he grinned like an evil bastard.

Aaron, who had a grave expression hearing about the call, broke into a cunning smile. After making sure that Darren had gone inside, he slowly walked up to the woman standing in front of him. Lifting her chin with his index finger, he spoke seductively.

"Your name?"

As expected, the dumb woman fell into his beauty trap, started answering with twinkling eyes.

"Cindy,"

"Cindy? What a sweet name!"

'Dumb woman, dumb name,' Aaron scoffed inside.

"Would you mind doing me a favor?"

The woman blushed heavily seeing Aaron inching towards her.

"Sure, tell me what is t?"

'Maybe, this guy is interested in her? Aw, how nice would it be if she could get this handsome man,'

Aaron continued with his act and leaned in to whisper in her ears.

Hearing his request and the offer he made for her, she simply couldn't reject it. So eagerly she agreed and cheered inwardly.

Aaron smirked and went out of the room as his plan got succeeded. Ah, it was too easy for him to win women's hearts. How nice it would be if he can win Rachel's heart.

As soon as he came outside the hotel, he dialed the same number he had got before.

"Mark, send me her location." He commanded.

"Yes, sir,"

Within just a few minutes, his mobile beeped. His lips hooked upwards and he drove off.

Inside the room, a loud banging could be heard from the bedroom.

"Bitch! Open the door. I'm warning, if you don't open the door this moment, then you will face the consequences. You understand?"

Darren roared from inside the bedroom. He had just gone to change but later realized that the door was locked from outside. Who else could it be if not for this scheming bitch?

Cindy unhurriedly got ready, taking her purse and mobile.

"Enjoy babe~" She locked the main door and left humming a song.

Though Darren was rich, good looking, he couldn't be compared to Aaron at all. She preferred the devilish Aaron over the double-crossed Darren. Remembering his chiseled face, sharp eyes, a diamond stud on the ear and, the tattoo on the neck made her more exciting. She couldn't wait to get hold of him.

Hearing the room's door getting locked, Darren cursed heavily. He knew he had messed up everything.

A Benz car slowly came to a stop, Aaron got down from the driver seat. His eyes searched for the familiar figure. He found, not just one..... but three? Squinting his eyes, he walked forward. He had expected two people, his Rachel and her friend... precisely a female friend. But who was this guy standing so close to Rachel, holding her hands?

He walked contemplating the man from his head to toe. Soon, he reached them and stood in front of them, narrowing his eyes.

"You are?" The man in the black hoodie questioned Aaron.

"Rachel's fiance," Without any guilt or shame, the scheming guy replied.

"Oh, hello, I'm Ren, Jane's friend." Ren introduced himself. He had not attended the engagement, so obviously he didn't know her fiance. Aaron acknowledged him with a slight nod. He felt a little less worried after hearing his connection.

"You are my darling's fiance?" A sharp tone sounded from the side. They both turned their heads in that direction only to find a woman sitting on the road with her back resting against the Ren's car.

Aaron frowned, not liking the way this woman addressed Rachel. Darling? My darling? Who's darling was she exactly?

Crysta got up, almost losing her balance but steadied herself. With a haughty look, chin raised, she stood tall in front of Aaron.

"Are you deaf?" Her voice was chilling. Ren gulped down the saliva, nervously.

Aaron didn't bat his eyes also. He simply raised his one eyebrow, waiting for her to continue.

"Do you like her?" She continued questioning him.

"I love her," Aaron replied spontaneously without any hesitation.

"But, she doesn't like you," She felt it was her responsibility to care of her good friend.

A burning rage started to build up inside Aaron.

She doesn't like him? Was it true when she said that she hates him? Did she mean it when she said she likes Darren? What... should he do?

His wild thoughts were running at the speed of light.

Suddenly, his brain caught something important. Very important! He started grinning like an idiot.

'She doesn't like me. Which means..... she doesn't like her fiance.' The scheming guy concluded.
