Somewhere on the Western Continent . . .

A cloaked figure touched a magic orb. A hologram sprung up, and the image of a woman sitting on a throne appeared.

"My liege," spoke the cloaked figure. "I, Orogolich, have successfully infiltrated the Magic Academy of the Kingdom of Rubidia. Everything is proceeding smoothly."

"Good," said the woman. "I will prove to everyone that I, Lekea Tristonich, Princess of Dema the kingdom of the dark elves, am not someone to be trifled with! It seems that our nobles want to cut me off from the race to the throne. I will prove, not only to them, but also to my father that I am the one most worthy of the title Demon Emperor!"

"My liege, there is something I do not understand," spoke the dark figure.

"Speak," commanded the woman.

"Your plan is to introduce our dark elven spells and cultivation techniques to these pathetic humans, and then control them after they have become corrupted. Certainly, this is a clever stratagem; however, why would you choose a 3rd-rate kingdom such as Rubidia to launch your plans? The strongest cultivator is but Duke Wess.e.x, a 3rd rank Martial Warrior realm expert; and the strongest external magic user is an old man who is only a 4th grade mage. In other words, if we sent merely a single king realm expert or one 5th grade mage, we could easily wipe this kingdom off the map. Aren't there stronger kingdoms where we can begin our corruption plan?"

"Hahaha, Orogolich! You're thinking is too narrow. This small kingdom has a huge lack of both external magic spells and cultivation resources! They are barbarians with no knowledge! Stronger kingdoms all have a few old wizards or martial ancestors to back them up. If we pick a stronger kingdom, our dark magic will instantly be seen through by those old fogies. Instead of taking control over them, we'll end up being found out and attacked. The Kingdom of Rubidia has no such powerful figure in it. They only have a huge lack of resources and knowledge! Remember the plan. You, Orogolich, are currently acting as a student of the magic academy. You will 'accidently' discover an ancient magic manual on a mission. When you present it to those weaklings, they will be overjoyed and treat it as a national treasure! The unsuspecting idiots will then practice the dark techniques which will turn them into my mindless slaves," said Lekea.

"Even the weakest will become a Sage realm expert or the equivalent 4th grade mage then," continued Lekea. "With that force, we will slowly conquer the surrounding nations of the Five Kingdom Alliance and force them to either die or become my slaves. From there onwards, we will begin our conquest of the Western Continent. Haha, once the entire Western Continent is in my hands, I will return to Dema with a massive army. Who can stop me then?"

"I see, my liege. I have spoken to much. Please forgive me," replied Orogolich. He took a deep breath and turned off the communication orb. A cruel smile crept across his face as he shapeshifted into a human and walked out of the chamber.
