It has been three whole months since Spencer had arrived in this world, he has been searching for more creatures to kill to make himself stronger, not so long ago he had come across a massive tank-like creature, it was roughly the size of an elephant, sporting armor that seemed to put a tank to shame, covered in spikes and thick layers of hardened skin, it also had a hammer-like appendage on its tail.

The creature was fairly powerful, as Spencer watched it tank all the attacks of a bigger dinosaur and then proceed to shatter its leg with one swing of its tail, completely crippling it, once the dinosaur was on the floor wailing, the creature had raised its tail, slamming it into the head of the dinosaur, putting it out of its misery.

After it left, he went up to the dead dinosaur and absorbed it, in doing so, he gained even thicker skin than he had before, his muscle strength and density increased greatly as well, his claws and fangs even gained some sharpness, but the most shocking thing was, he grew a tail, a very reptilian tail at that.

Examining it and it was stronger than he previously thought, he tested this by slamming it against the nearest tree, the tree had put up zero resistance and was easily torn through by his tail, it felt as if he was hitting a twig, not a tree comparable to the thickness of a grown man.

Coming to the realization, the continuous assimilation of creatures with similar genomes must give him the most dominant traits of the species over time, as he was becoming more and more reptilian as he kept consuming dinosaurs.

He soon escaped his thought process, when he noticed the creature getting a little too far away, he chased after it to see where it was headed, once he caught up with it, he saw it integrating itself back into a larger group of similar animals, Spencer entered stalk mode and began circling the group, making sure to keep his presence hidden, while studying the group of living tanks.

After a while he noticed one of them leaving the group by itself, taking this opportunity, he slowly went around and followed the creature.

having staying hidden as his main priority, he went unnoticed.

The creature soon arrived at a meadow, stopping in its tracks, it began eating the grass that was sprouting from the soil, seeing this Spencer snuck up behind it with his claws all ready prepared beforehand.

Lunging at the creature, he swung his claws at it as hard as he could against its backside.

*Clank*

"Huh?"- Spencer

To his utter surprise, his claws bounced off of its back, it was as if he was trying to slice through reinforced steel, it didn't even leave so much as a scratch, completely opposing his idea of cutting it in half.

The creature startled by his sudden attack swung its tail, it slammed into his side.

*CRACK!!*

"AAAAAARGH!!"- Spencer

The amount of pain he felt was unbearable, his entire left side shattered, his arm and what felt like three of his ribs were destroyed on impact, he felt his broken ribs piercing his organs, causing him to fall to the ground, writhing in pain, before he could gather his thoughts due to how disoriented he was from the pain.

It raised its tail and slammed it down, its tail sunk into his back shattering his spin and everything else, Spencer coughed out a mouth full of blood, and lost his ability to move, in that instant, Spencer lost consciousness.

The creature had left Spencer's broken body on the floor of the meadow, making its way back to its group.

Spencer surprisingly had not died from this, his body was in the process of regenerating itself, repairing the damage caused at an accelerated rate, the damage could visibly be seen repairing, but Spencer was still unconscious, unaware of what his body was doing, as it was fixing the damage it was also strengthening Spencer's body, making it more tolerant to blunt force attacks.

It was now dark and Spencer's body was fully recovered, all of the damage he had sustained was now fixed, and his body was now attuned to take higher levels of physical abuse, all that was left was for Spencer to wake up from his unconsciousness.

A little more time passed and Spencer finally began to wake up' opening his eyes and adjusting, he realized that he was spread out on the floor and it was now dark.

"What the hell happened?"- Spencer

As he said this he started to remember what had happened to him, how he was defeated so easily.

"AAAAH, ill kill that damn thing the next time I see it"- Spencer

the thought of it made Spencer furious.

He slammed his fists into the ground, creating a small hole, he picked himself up as well as his broken pride, he truly believed he was one of the most powerful creatures in this place, and he was brutally knocked out and put in his place, by a creature that didn't even take him seriously.

Spencer clenched his fists, he began shaking in frustration.

*Rustle rustle*

The sound of the bushes could be heard.

Hearing this, Spencer quickly turned his head in the direction of the noise, from the bushes came a creature not much smaller in size than him, it stood on its hind legs, sporting small horns protruding from the sides of its head.

Spencer seeing this creature turned to face it, with an ear to ear smile showing on his face, due to his razor-sharp teeth, this smile would give any man nightmares.

*ROAR!*

The creatures spotting Spencer roared trying to intimidate him.

Spencer was very angry from his earlier experience with that brute of a creature, he gladly accepted the challenge, taking in a deep breath.

*RAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!!*- Spencer

He released a roar so loud, it made the creature's previous roar sound like a whisper compared to his.

This greatly intimidated it, causing it to take a few steps back.

"What's wrong, TOO MUCH FOR YOU?"- Spencer spoke with nothing but anger in his voice.

The creature began to turn around and try to retreat.

"COME HERE"- Spencer yelled

He tackled the creature full force, grabbing it by the neck and slamming it against the ground, holding nothing back, he released his full rage upon the creature, tearing it apart as it was shrieking from the pain.

Spencer kept slamming it into the ground, until it just stopped shrieking entirely, Spencer noticing this, looked at the creature in his hand, mangled and broken.

Spencer raised the creature above his head

*Boom*

*Snap*

He slammed the creature into the earth creating a small crater and snapping its neck, killing it.

The creature liquified and was absorbed by Spencer, this caused him to gain another increase in height and his senses increased even further, the change was so great that he began smelling all kinds of different things, from bugs to the many different creatures in the forest, his body tensed in anticipation.

Extending his claws, Spencer ran deeper into the forest in pursuit of whatever he could find.
