Spencer could be seen launching himself in the direction of the beast, cutting through the water akin to a missile.

Gritting his teeth from the water-resistance against him, Spencer made his mouth into a beak to help him rip through the water, picking up speed as he advanced towards the creature. the creature observed his advance and noticed his rapid increase in Speed.

*Swish*

The creature quickly evaded his attack and watched as Spencer shot past it. Retracting his beak, Spencer spun around to charge at the creature once more, but before he could initiate another charge.

The creature was already engaged in one, reaching directly in front of Spencer before he had a chance to react, let alone evade. The creature slammed its jaws shut on Spencer's, swallowing him, but before it had the chance to completely consume him he clenched his fist and punched the roof of the creature's mouth.

This forced the creature's mouth to fly open with tremendous force, allowing Spencer to escape its jaws and swim away from the creature.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN SWALLOW ME!!"- Spencer screamed in his head

He was angered by the fact that the creature had almost swallowed him in that instant. He began to think, trying to come up with a plan so he could quickly defeat it in the most brutal manner possible.

His body began to heat up once more, but upon realizing this, Spencer calmed himself to not lose his ability to think rationally in this fight, because right now he needs to be at his maximum capacity if he wants to win this fight.

Swimming in the direction of the creature, Spencer extended his claws and concentrated on making them stronger, this caused his body to react by enhancing them further, causing his claws to radiate an unnatural aura of sharpness.

Arriving at his intended target, Spencer swung his claws at the creature. the creature seeing this decided not to charge headfirst as it could sense the aura around Spencer's claws, instead it decided to swing its tail at him to knock him away.

This did not work as Spencer sunk his claws into the creature's tail causing it to shriek in pain, taking this opportunity, Spencer used his claws to climb unto the creatures back from its tail and began stabbing into it repeatedly, this placed the body of the creature in complete agony as his claws were constantly digging into its back.

Trying to shake Spencer off, the creature began thrashing around erratically in a desperate attempt to take him off of its back. Not letting go, Spencer held on and continued to stab the creature in its back.

Growing desperate the creature swam into a nearby underwater hill and slammed itself into it, the pain was causing it to become unstable and reckless. Spencer was forced off from the collision and was now embedded into the wall of the hill the creature slammed into.

*Grunt*

Spencer released a grunt that was enhanced by him being underwater. The collision had shaken him and forced him to let go of the creature.

No longer feeling Spencer on its back, it felt relieved, but this relief was soon replaced by rage, the creature turned around and looked at Spencer, seeing him implanted in the wall, pure hatred emanated from the eyes of the creature.

Spencer who was still disoriented stayed motionless as he was not prepared for the collision. the creature drew back and rammed into Spencer, further imprinting him into the hill.

The creature's charge had hit him full force due to the hill being stationary behind him, trying to move to escape, the creature rammed into him a second time. The creatures Collison had broken several of Spencer's ribs, causing him a great amount of pain in the process.

The creature had rammed into Spencer several more times before retreating to observe his current condition. His body was almost completely broken, his ribs were shattered, his Spine fractured and all the other bones in his body were greatly damaged, he was rendered immobile.

Falling from the crater in the hill, Spencer's body descended to the bottom of the lake. the creature wasn't finished though as it backed up and rammed into Spencer for the final time with all its strength, creating a second crater in the hill.

Spencer's mind was in turmoil from the pain he was under, his body was broken and he could not move, it was a miracle he was still conscious of the assault he had just endured by the hands aka fins of this creature.

The creature observed Spencer, watching as his body peeled away from the crater and began falling towards the ocean floor, seeing this the creature concluded that he was dead, and it wouldn't be that far off, Spencer was on the very edge of death, he was barely conscious as his body was screaming pain signals.

*THUMP!!*

The resonance of a heartbeat could be felt vibrating through the lake, growing stronger with each beat.

*THUMP!!!!*

The vibrations grew stronger as the heartbeat Increased exponentially, beating with the rhythm of a drum.

The source of these vibrations being pinpointed to Spencer's broken body laying on the lake's floor, the rate of the heartbeat expanded out of control, Spencer's body beginning to pulse in response to his heartbeat, he began to emit a purple glow followed by an intense heat as his body began to self repair itself.

His shattered ribs reformed and all the bones in his body fused back together, reversing all the damage he had suffered, his body gained a benefit from this as well. The damage he had received was remembered by his body and as he was healing his body took precautions to this damage, allowing him to grow once more.

The lights emanated from his body had attracted the attention of the creature to his recovery, observing Spencer the creature was confused as to what was happening, it had never experienced something like this before.

Fully recovered, the light from his body faded as Spencer was completely healed, his mind was now clear, his body surging with a new realm of strength within him. Picking himself up from the lake floor, not understanding what had just transpired with his body.

Spencer had no time to think further on the matter as the creature attacked him in his train of thought, swinging its tail at his body as it did at the beginning of there fight. Spencer who wasn't paying attention didn't react to the creature's incoming attack.

The creature slammed its tail into him expecting to knock him back into the hill, contrary to its beliefs, Spencer was in the same spot from before, his body only slightly shifted from the impact.

"Huh?"-Spencer

Spencer was snapped out of his thought process when he felt something hit his side, turning to see the tail of the creature, he remembered that he was in a battle of life and death to determine who was the strongest creature on the planet. Startled by the realization he punched the creature's tail.

*SHRIEK!!*

Spencers punch had blown a hole into the tail of the creature, causing it immense pain, the punch was followed by a burst of water pressure, sending a shockwave through the lake.

"?"-Spencer

Spencer didn't know what to say to this change, he was perplexed by how his body grew so strong.

"What power did I just pull out of my ass"-Spencer

Returning to his thought process, the creature regained its composure and attacked Spencer again. sensing it approaching, Spencer looked in its direction, he noticed that he no longer felt threatened by its existence, unlike a few moments ago when he was being crushed by it.

Observing as the creature approached him, it opened its jaws and clamped down on Spencer. this action caused the creature even more pain as its teeth were shattered on contact with Spencer's body.

Spencer's upper torso was inside the mouth of the creature unharmed, barely feeling anything from the attack as he had already evolved past this creature. Seeing it struggle, Spencer decided to put the creature out of its misery, Spencer clenched his fist and punched the creature's upper jaw, this time the punch had blown the creature's face completely off, killing it instantly.

Not surprised by how easily he killed the creature at this point, he absorbed it into himself and fused its traits with the others. Spencer then returned to the surface in search of a new way of attaining more power and someday ascend to a higher power.
