You Are My Colour Palette

<7 years later>

Qin Yang was busy finishing her remaining clients request before she could make an announcement on her website that she is closing of requests. She has been sitting in front of the screen for more than 12 hours. She didn't even take break and even skipped proper meals.

Qin Yang's way of working made a name herself. She is after all a freelancer. When she first started of this freelancing career right after college, it was hard to find a client. So she asked her friend to design a website for her where she can show her designs and attract people.

Her design brought people attention because of her special way or style to design what they want. People then swarm in requests for her designs or design for them. You could say that she was pretty famous in the designing industry. However, nobody has seen her before in person. All because of Qin Yang's lack of socialising skills ever since her incident years ago.

So whenever a client want to discuss about design, she would only accept phone calls. No video call nor private meeting. If the client wants to meet personally, that is where Zi Xuan comes in. Another thing that her clients don't know about is her real name. She signs her name off on her every as Aurora. None of her client knows but they don't mind as long as they are satisfied with her design.

Qin Yang stretch her hand upwards and yawn " Finally.... I'm done !"

She picks up her phone next to her and dial someone's number. The person picks up " Yo ! Aurora! What can I do for yooo~ "

Qin Yang chuckles " Luciel, can you speak human language ?"

" Goddess of Dawn, how may I help you ?" the person asks. (A/N: Aurora means Goddess of Dawn)

Qin Yang looks at her website and smile " Can you help me release an announcement on the website and shut down later ?"

" Huh?! You know how hard I work for that website for you! Why do you want to shut it down.." he fake sobs. Qin Yang knows she owes Luciel a lot especially during her hard times, he helped her a lot to get her back up on her feet. She could hear him sulk from the other side of the line.

Qin Yang pinch in between her eyebrows " I might start working in a corporation soon. I won't be able to accept requests or even use it."

Luciel was surprise by her explanation " Corporation? I thought you don't like socialising ? " He knows her condition why she became afraid of socialising with other people. Qin Yang didn't reply for a moment and bit her lip. " I don't know... I have to step out of my comfort zone somehow" she tries to be positive but her tone says otherwise.

Luciel knows that the day where she has to face reality one day will bound to arrive, it made him want to protect her. " If you feel uncomfortable,you know I got your back. "

Qin Yang smile at his comfort " I know."

" I won't delete the website. I will disable it for now just in case you need it again" Luciel sighs.

" Thank you, Luciel. I owe you again."

" No. We don't owe each other. We always have been a help to each other."

Zi Xuan call Qin Yang's phone after she hang up on Luciel. Qin Yang greet her unhappily " What do you want?"

" Can't you sound a bit more happy when you hear my voice ?" Zi Xuan tease her.

She rolls her eyes " After the trick you pull last week, don't I owe an explanation. You send my resume and portfolio to a corporation without my consent. What if I didn't agree to it?"

" Alright..alright I am sorry about it. I just couldn't stand someone like talented you muddle up at home." Zi Xuan lazily apologise. Qin Yang took a deep breath " What if I can't do this ? What if I panic and not say anything..will they laugh at me?"

Zi Xuan tone turn to a comforting one " You can do this girl. So what if you do fail? There is no harm in trying. The fact you agreeing to this means the first step to overcome that fear of yours." Zi Xuan personality sometimes can be a bit too optimistic for Qin Yang but she never took it at heart in reality she needed someone like her in her life to push her even just a little bit.

Qin Yang didn't reply and only gave a silence one. " That's it! Change your clothes ! Let's go out now ! I meet you downstairs in 20 minutes"

" Huh? It's 11pm and it's late. Where do you want to take me ?" Qin Yang still went to get her coat even though she is confuse.

" Don't be so uptight. Like hell you know what is late, working till no sleep everyday. I know a Korean BBQ restaurant that opens till morning, time to cheer that depressing soul of yours !" Zi Xuan nag at her. Qin Yang chuckle " You are paying right?" and grab her handbag and head out.
