Without Me

Li Ye Han was returning to the company after he took Ruo Yan back to her villa, when suddenly the inside of his car sounded the sound of the incoming message, ripping him from his reverie.

He parked on the side of the road, not turning off the engine. He reached into his jacket pocket and took out his phone. As soon as he unlocked the screen with his fingerprint, Li Ye Han felt an icy chill running down his spine. The sender's number was unknown, but Li Ye Han felt it was the same number from which he got all the previous messages.

He clenched his teeth, the murderous intention coming from the depths of his pupils filled the small space of the car.

Li Ye Han, with trembling fingers, read the message, and with each next word, the air in the car became denser and heavier.

He read the message several times, wanting to make sure he understood the content well, but the letters did not change. No matter how many times he read the message, the content was the same:

'If you do not want her to end up dead, you have to make her hate you with her every cell. Otherwise... We will take care of her, but then the girl will know the fate worse than death.

P.S. I think there are more blunt ways than a just divorce ... In the morning we want to know the effects, and believe that we have our own ways to verify that if you have fulfilled your role ... '

Li Ye Han read this message a dozen times, hoping and even praying in spirit that it would be an ordinary dream.

He opened the window of the car and lit a cigarette, wanting to somehow calm his trembling heart. Li Ye Han's hands were shaking so much that the cigarette ash fell on his knees, but Li Ye Han did not even pay attention to it.

He had been receiving similar news for about two months, but today's exceeded all his expectations.

Ever since he received the first message in which someone threatened him with the life of Yao Xi, if he does not ignore her and give her a cold arm, he began an intense search for a mysterious blackmailer, but without success ... Even with his options, power, money and connections he was not in able to find the smallest circ.u.mstantial evidence. It's as if this person did not exist ...

Initially, he ignored warnings and threats. He was too arrogant and proud to let someone blackmail him. Who was Li Ye Han? He passed a long, painful road, filled with sea of ​​blood on his way to the top. How could he let someone manipulate him ?! Never in his life!

But when he got a lock of amber hair in the pack which belonged to Yao Xi Li Ye Han understood that these people were not simple. Li Ye Han felt fear for the first time in his life.

He had to meet these people's demands if he wanted to protect Yao Xi ... His Xixi ...

And though his heart broke mercilessly every time he saw her beautiful radiant face, filled with love and adoration. And her big emerald eyes, in which her pure and impeccable soul was reflected ...

He was absolutely angry. The moment he found out a few weeks ago that she was his Xixi, the same one who stubbornly kept him alive, he wanted to spread Ruo Yan into small pieces for cheating him.

And before he could enjoy the fact that he finally found a woman he had been seeking for so long, he was forced to abandon her.

And now?

The girl whom he hated and ignored for so many years, thinking that she had taken away his right to relationship with Ruo Yan when he was convinced she was Xixi, turned out that Yao Xi was a woman of his life. A woman he had been thinking about day and night from the day she suddenly appeared in his life. And what? He had to make her hate him ?!

Perhaps it was a punishment from the heavens for treating her worse than for a stranger for the whole marriage? Karma returned to him with redoubled power ...

Li Ye Han was terrified. How could he come to terms with it so easily? Why did he have to do everything he was told? Why him? And what is the purpose of a blackmailer if Yao Xi really hates him?

He sought answers to these questions for a long time, to no avail.

When he felt a burning sensation between his fingers, he threw the cigarette out of the window.

Li Ye Han decided at that moment. He really cared about Yao Xi, to put her in danger. Who knew what they could do to her? Li Ye Han knew very well what a fate worse than death would mean. He repeatedly tormented his victims until they cried and begged for death.

He did not find the perpetrator yet, so he could not ignore the command. He could only grit his teeth, begging God to give him a chance to catch these people and make up for what he had to do to Yao Xi ...
