When Back In Time

SHE LAUGHED cruelly and bitterly, "And now you are happy that he is dead? And are you happy about what is happening in my country?"

"You confused me there human," he said.

Esperanza was about to retort but knitted her brows. "What is happening? I don't understand. You seem like you don't know anything."

"What do you mean?"

"You don't really... Know-----"

She was stopped as she felt something on her c.h.e.s.t.

Bangun Bangun looked at her in horror and then to her back. He yelled, "Hey! What in the world did you do?"

She looked behind her and there, she saw Jose Rizal stood there still with no expression. His two eyes turned entirely black.

Her knees buckled and she coughed blood. She looked at her c.h.e.s.t and saw a sharp stick was stuck on it.

She was impaled from the back.

She chuckled bitterly.

"Thank you for your service miss time traveler," a voice said coming from a newcomer.

She looked weakly at the new guy and her eyes widened in shock.

"I was looking for him for a long time and thanks to you, I finally found him," the person said, referring to Bangun Bangun.

"Saragnayan," Bangun Bangun uttered bitterly.

"Y-you..." Esperanza said weakly. Her face falls on the ground. Her eyes traveled towards Jose Rizal who still stood there frozen with those weird and creepy eyes. "What kind of sorcery did you do?"

There, stood behind Jose Rizal was Saragnayan. Saragnayan whom Esperanza met before.

"So it is you then who cause all this trouble. And you even made Esperanza believed that I'm the culprit to all of the suffering she endured. Knowing her, you know after you provoke her she will come looking for me in a flash, enraged. Now tell me, oh god of darkness, are you bored that's why you made these evil things? "Bangun Bangun asked.

Saragnayan chuckled and produced a sinister smile. His humanly feature changed. He grew bigger and bigger like a monster. His hair fell until he became bald. His skin turn coal-black, his eyes turned deep-red and his teeth became sharp. Two tusks grew on him and his nails became longer and sharper.

"Of course," Saragnayan answered.

It was so fast and she could not see what happened. She just saw that Bangun Bangun came crashing on one, two, three trees before he was already pinned down on the other tree.

The god of Time and Cosmos coughed and before he can move, Saragnayan punched him in the stomach.

Again, Bangun Bangun flew after that blow.

'What is going on?' she asked herself. Everything was topsy-turvy.

Her eyes tried to follow the movements of the two but in vain. The two move faster and sharply. All she could see were glimpses of Bangun Bangun being beaten up.

'How... How... How Saragnayan became like that?' she asked.

She stared at the nothingness. She's having a hard time breathing.

After a few seconds, Bangun Bangun landed next to her, all beaten up. Dried leaves flew on the air.

She could see weird colored blood liquid on his mouth and bruises on him.

"What does he want from you?" she asked the bruised god. "What's going on? I'm... I'm entirely confused."

"To kill me, apparently-----" Bangun Bangun magically produced a staff on his hand and flung it in front of him but Saragnayan dodged and effortlessly blow another punch on Bangun Bangun.

"W-who are you?" she inquired.

The monstrous Saragnayan looked at her and replied, "I'm the master of Darkness, chaos is my p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e."

He demonstrates his huge fist on Bangun Bangun and the latter once more, knocked on the ground brutally.

"I am... I am indeed no chance to you," Bangun Bangun said. "What do you really want Saragnayan."

"You know, total chaos. And to do that, I need to finish you off so that no one can ever redo everything by turning back time. That's why, say goodbye now Bangun Bangun," the monster replied.

"I hate to do this... But... I need to save...," Bangun Bangun raised his staff and before Saragnayan could attack, the god of Time and Cosmos escaped the scene.

"Wh-what..." Esperanza mumbled helplessly, "Wher---where are you?"

She looked around in tears. She was abandoned in this kind of predicament.

Saragnayan growled in raged.

He turned his head and walked towards Esperanza.

Esperanza was shaking in fear, she crawled away from him while calling for help, "Don't abandon me Bangun Bangun... Help.... Help me!"

But the god never return.

She looked back and saw the monster and before she could scream, his big foot kicked her head with big force.

CRACK.
