Chapter 47. I heard that you are useless at singing and dancing? (10)

This was probably a nightmare from back during his school days..

Shi Jiu sympathized with him for three seconds.

Everyone else, more or less, also had weaknesses and thus, were harassed by the teacher to the point of death.

Shi Jiu left after watching for half an hour to pick assistants for each of them.

She would be busy with this matter for the next day. There were eight trainees so she needed to find eight assistants. These assistants also could not just be randomly selected.

After working hard for a whole day, she barely managed to settle everything. She was going to let them meet each other the next day so they could cultivate a tacit understanding.

She was only one agent but she had eight trainees under her. She couldn’t take care of everyone personally. At this stage in their career, assistants were very important.

The people she picked were those who were smart, tactful, spontaneous, and could work under pressure.

She hoped that they would have good first impressions of each other. Otherwise, it would only be more troublesome and she would have to use unconventional methods for them to get along.

When they were assigned, no one had any objections and they all expressed their warm welcome to their assistants on the surface. But she didn’t know what they were thinking on the inside.

"Don't bully your assistants. Otherwise when the time comes, there will be some scandal about not treating assistants as human beings... if that happens to you, I will teach you what it means to not be human." Shi Jiu smiled meaningfully.

"No way, Sister Jiaojiao! I will treat my assistant well and never bully him." Huobao was the first to jump out.

"That's good." Shi Jiu nodded, "All right, the training is about to start. Let's go back to training."

Hearing this, Huobao's face collapsed. He was not very happy, and he looked like he was about to cry. "Sister, the training is so difficult. The teacher is very fierce and my body is turning blue."

Shi Jiu smiled softly but the words that came out of her mouth were as sharp as a knife, "Hey, your sister knows but as the saying goes, ‘You can only be the best if you have endured hardships.’ So, hurry up and train, the teacher is waiting for you."

After she finished speaking, she kicked them out.

Just as she kicked them out, while Shi Jiu relaxed on her soft leather chair preparing to catch up on her missed sleep, she suddenly received a call.

"Hello?"

"Sister Jiaojiao..."

It was Yuan Chuming, an actor she had managed and who had been famous for a long time. Mu Jiaojiao liked things that were challenging. She led people at the beginning, but she usually didn't take them to the top of the mountain.

All of the artists she had managed before basically won awards and became famous but she stopped managing them after they stabilized.

These artists were then assigned to other agents by the company. At that point in their careers, it was no longer the agent who managed the artists but the artist who managed their managers.

Yuan Chuming was quite special, he was part of the first batch of artists trained by Mu Jiaojiao.

Specializing in movies, he was nominated for the Best Actor Award early in his career and later won it and got famous.

When Mu Jiaojiao wanted to hand him over to someone else, he refused, saying it was troublesome.

But Shi Jiu, who had read the original book, knew that the real reason was that Yuan Chuming liked Mu Jiaojiao.

Yuan Chuming was only one year younger than Mu Jiaojiao and belonged to the kind of people who entered the industry relatively late.

He had always been secretly in love with Mu Jiaojiao but she didn't see him in that way so he kept this affection in his heart.

During the last few chapters of the original book, Yuan Chuming often visited Mu Jiaojiao in prison.

Hmm... Mu Jiaojiao was probably blind. She couldn’t see those who loved her and thought that those who didn't love her, loved her.

This was a disease that could have been cured, but it was a pity that she didn’t have that chance in the original story.

Yuan Chuming greeted her on the phone for a long time, and then explained some trivial things about his current filming abroad.

In the end, he seemed to hesitate for a moment before asking, "I heard that Sister Jiaojiao is accepting newcomers again."

"Yes." Shi Jiu leaned on her chair and replied casually, "Eight of them and from now on they will all be your juniors."

"Sister Jiaojiao hasn't trained so many at once for a long time. Is there anything special about them?"

The voice on the phone was a little distorted, but Yuan Chuming's voice was still nice, and his voice was soft when he asked.

"It's quite special." Each one was very special, and there was even a regressor. It would be fun and hilarious to put them together.

She liked this.
