What Where You Thinking

Mits and Shane walked down to the hotel restaurant, as Mits thought her parents was waiting for them.

"Good morning you two, did you sleep well?" Mits mother asked smiling at them.

"Yes thanks mom we did, how about you and dad?"

"We fell a sleep once we got into bed."

They smile and the waiter came to took their order.

Mel came walking into the restaurant. "Good morning."

"Morning" Everyone said.

Shane I hope you wont feel offended but I am not going with today, I would like to go to the pool and work on my tan." She smiled at them.

"Not a problem Mel just as you wish." Shane replied to her with a smile.

After breakfast, Mel said good buy and went to her room to get ready for the pool.

Mits, Shane and her parents left the hotel for the day.

"So what you do have in mind?" Mits father asked Shane.

Laughing Shane just said "Come and I will show you"

They got a cab and went to their first destination.

They stopped outside the Eiffel Tower, "Did you know the construction started in January 1887?"

"No I did not know that" Mits replied she looked at it in wonder taking a lot of pictures.

After a while they left for their second destination.

Shane stopped outside the Louvre Museum.

Again her father said, "Did you know that the Louvre Museum is the world's largest art museum?"

"How do you know all these things dad?" Mits asked shocked at her father.

"I went though a pamphlet this morning reading about a few places here." Her father replied.

Mits just loved the museum, she did now want to leave, they stayed a while longer so that Mits could be happy that she saw everything.

"I have one more stop then we will go and get lunch." Shane said

Shocked Mits looked at her watch and saw that half of the day has passed already.

Shane stopped and they walked to the Notre-Dame de Paris.

"This is amazing." Mits said with a big smile on her face, then she looked at her father.

"When did the construction started on this place dad?"

"It started in 1163, my girl, it is a Catholic church."

They did not go in they just stood outside looking and after a while Shane said. "Come lets go and get some lunch."
